I don't usually write about Gas Station food but WAWA was an exception in that they did at one time have a great concept. Fresh food and a DECENT price. Seems that is no longer true. Take for example the hash browns. $1.39 forever, and of course skimp-flation takes over and now they are $1.99. A total ripoff in my opinion for such a small amount of food. If they were hot out of the blast oven would be one thing, but they sit and harden up under the lights. I usually buy 2, and occasionally still do but I can get a far better deal at Dunkin one block over heated as I pull up for $.50 cents less each. I can also get a sandwich that is made and heated up right there and not under a heat lamp drying out. Very disappointed. I can also find other and far better value at other like at THB where I can get a fresh bagel breakfast sandwich, full order of potato wedges ($4 plus change) and a large coffee for almost the same price point. Do better WAWA, don't be that gas station food oasis. read more

I love Wawa for quick stop and a great menu of food options. But this Wawa made a burger better than my local Wawa locations near my house. They offered more topping options. The inside and outside were clean. I felt safe here. But I am always on my guard when I am out and about when traveling. The workers always have a good time and are friendly. read more

AWFUL!! I am a massive Wawa fan and have been to tons of locations in many different states this one is by far the WORST!!! It was so busy and only 2 employees in the whole place because apparently everyone called out. The line was wrapped around the store with one cashier and come to find out they forgot the cheese on my cheesesteak. They also ran out of straws and the employee pointed me to the "straws" they had which were coffee stirrers... overall this ended up being a half an hour ordeal for a snack and a coffee... The other reviews of people not getting meat in their sandwich made me laugh,not because I'm vegetarian, just because that is a pretty major oversight on the part of the sandwich maker. My review is also about the sandwich making aspect of Wawa. This was my first time in a Wawa, my friend told me they made great sandwiches for a reasonable price. He had a hoagie and I had a panini, both were delicious (and included all the necessary meats). But my five stars isn't really for the sandwiches, or the quick and friendly(ish) service we got there, but rather for something I have never seen in a sub shop before. The way you order at Wawa's is quite amazing, in front of the deli stand, where the sandwiches are ultimately made for you, rests a small computer screen with a colourful graphic reading Hoagipalooza (or something like that) and once you tap into it, you are walked thru a meticulous ordering process for your sandwich, including every detail that might be necessary to complete your choice. You choose the style, the bread, meats, veggies, sauces, and much more. In a short minute or two you receive a receipt with an order number on it and the deli crew is off and running to make up your fare. It took less than a couple of minutes for my number to be called, the two person deli crew was cranking them out, and then I proceeded to the checkout to pay for said sammy. Both sandwiches were reasonable at around $5 a piece and like I said before, both were delicious. It might seem weird that you'd get such a good sandwich at a gas station, but Wawa is more than just a gas station mini mart, it has a nice wide open, clean, modern feel to it and, at least when I was there, the service was efficient and friendly for the most part. I can't vouch for the gas at the pumps, but the deli offers one heck of a Hoagipalooza in a most high tech fashion. read more

I visit this location everyday....today around 4:30pm there was a new cashier with a lone a mile long. My issue is that he can't tell a real I'd from a fake. My ID is real however there is no law that my barcode has to be scanned. Also if there is no barcode from wear and tear, it doesn't mean that an Id is invalid. read more

Went in at 1:45 am to get an Italian sub. Gorl making subs was on the phone, then walking around, then actually made a sandwich for a customer who came in 10 minutes after I did. Then. SHE WENT HOME, or break, without saying anything, leaving no one to make subs. FINALLY got someone to make my order, left the store at 2:08. Yes, 23 minutes to make a sub. Didn't have time to eat it, my break was over at 2:15. Just trashed it. Will NEVER set foot in there again. Absolutely ridiculous . read more

This place is an institution! I'm glad we have Wawa rather than Sheetz; the cheesesteaks (although not premium) are much better. It's a truck stop, so it can get crowded, but there's gas, free air (with a digital air pressure reader), and lots of snacks. Prepared food is relatively cheap considering the portion size (the snacks, not so much). Reminds me of when I used to visit family in Philadelphia. read more

Every single time I go here, I am panhandled by the grossest looking tweakers on earth. The only place in Cockeysville (of all places!!) that I ever get panhandled. The store seems to actively encourage their presence, by allowing them to harass customers both outside and at the registers inside. This was a really cool place when it opened, now the gas prices are higher than the rest of the area and it's impossible to feel safe. Place is extremely busy. Staff are friendly, some customers are rude and always in a rush. I enjoy waves over Rofo any day of the week. Some people left negative reviews because of panhandlers.... honestly I see them from time to time but they are not aggressively panhandling. I really enjoy coming here for some hot chocolate before work and getting the chicken tender sandwichandmac and cheese. There food is delicious and so are their prices. I have also gotten gas from here too. There gas is cheap and they keep it very close to what other gas stations cost for cash only. I'm very glad that they built this in cockeysville. read more

I love Wawa Cockeysville. Their staff are really nice. Food is great. Especially the chicken salad club. Love their breakfasts. Their pretzles and Freal shakes are wonderful. Love their fountain drinks the best. I would have given this location five stars, but they had a sign on the door last night that said they would now be closed between 12:00am-4:30am. They will not be operating for 24 hours a day anymore. At least not for now. I spoke to an employee as to why? He was evasive. He did say it has something to do with the businesses around there and the hours are indefinate. One of the reasons I love Wawa is that I could always count on Wawa to being open overnight to get a late night sandwhich or fountain drink now and then. I hope they will be open 24 hours again soon. I have been here a few times before to grab a coffee and a donut. There is only ever one person checking people out with at least for people in line. Today I decided to try a MTO food. When waiting for my sandwich the people behind the counter were so engaged in their conversation they just threw my sub on the table and didn't call out any number. I finally realized it was mine after waiting and when I opened it they left the plastic sheet (from the meat I'm guessing) IN MY SANDWICH.
