Came in for a lunch service recently, and it was completely empty. It was around 1:30pm. We started with the shrimp app. and I didn't care for that. Our food order took 15-20 minutes which I think if the restaurant was busier would have felt normal, but I don't know why it felt like it took forever. When it arrived, it was very good. Pad Thai typically has thick noodles, these are super skinny, but there was a lot of chicken so I appreciate that. Overall a decent experience, but we've had better.

Gumbo and fried rice

It's a corner suite in a shopping strip. Clean dining room with white tablecloths, although customers wore athletic wear. We skipped starters and went straight to the entrees. The complimentary roll and butter was tasty. I ordered the seafood gumbo with fried rice (no egg, vegetables, etc.). The spice level was 7 out of 10. It was tasty but I wish the sausage was cut thicker. Service was a lil slow but the server was very friendly and attentive. My friend had Chinese fried rice with chicken. He said it was dry, but the addition of soy sauce was just what it needed. We both left filled at the end of the meal. Recommended.

Shrimp with firecracker sauce! These are so delicious!!!

We love WB! We eat here quite regularly. The food was good as usual. We enjoyed the shrimp with firecracker sauce, our only complaint is that there should be at least 4 or 5 shrimp vs the 3 they cut in half. My husband ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and LOVED it. It was still delicious the next day when he warmed it up for lunch. I ordred the shrimp lettuce wraps as my meal which normally would have been perfect, except the portion size seemed to have gotten smaller (I didn't even take a pic) and the lettuce cups were definitely smaller than what they used to be. I hope thet rectify this as I know things are expensive, but that's no reason to skimp on portion size and not adjust the price to a lesser amount.

This restaurant is one that I have gone to over a long period of time. Not often enough I am realizing after tonight's dinner. I have always had a fantastic meal here but what I am realizing is that I don't take advantage of it enough! Everything about both entrées tonight or just mouthwatering and delicious! Cashew encrusted Salmon and Spicy Seafood Dynamite! Our waitress Wen was so friendly, attentive and I appreciated her great service! I'll be back sooner than later!

Asian Bread with Almond Butter Spread

It was a bit crowded in here for a Monday night, but that didn't hinder us from enjoying a nice evening meal in this quaint, slightly upscale bistro. The Wave's menu is filled with Asian fusion fare and some interesting items that you would not expect to find in your traditional Asian foodie place, such a gumbo or crab cakes. Then there are other more recognizable items like orange chicken or stir fry. Just don't be in a hurry to rush through your meal. Service is good, but it's not fast food. Settle in for a nice evening and whatever you choose, it'll be good.

Cashew Salmon

We were there just two days ago and food was delicious. OwnerJenny was very friendly and attentive! Great ambience and decor! We had cashew salmon, chicken lettuce wraps, wanton soup, and all of that were delicious. The free bread appetizer are our favorite! Highly recommend this place if you are in the NW area by 144th & Maple next to Home Depot.

Spiced Seafood Dynamite...soooo good I forgot to take a before pic!

Wukong Asian Restaurant - Egg rolls

Kudos to Wukong for being open on Christmas Day…read more Tried Hot and Sour Malatang with beef and shrimp. Good flavor. Would have preferred a few more shrimp. Shrimp fried rice and egg rolls were solid but not memorable. Would like to try a different Malatang than the hot and sour next time. Staff was very friendly.

We came about an hour before close and were seated immediately as the restaurant was not very busy at the time. Our waitress brought over and explained the menu to us. We got a couple of the bottles of teas that they keep in the cooler at the counter. We tried the honey and the green honey - both were good with mild sweetness. At first glance of the menu, it didn't seem like there were many vegetarian options, but our waitress explained that all of the malatang options can be vegetarian because unless stated explicitly, they were made with vegetarian broth. We decided to get a couple orders of the egg rolls for the table and then my husband and I got the hot and sour soup malatang with noodles six vegetables instead of three because we decided to skip the meat and the hibachi mixed vegetables with noodles as well. The egg rolls were delicious - crispy and tasty! The wrappers were a little different than what you normally associate with egg rolls, but I liked it quite a bit. The mixed veggies with noodles was delicious! It was super flavorful, had a nice sauce, and paired great with the noodles. The malatang was fine and plentiful, but I didn't find the broth to have a lot of flavor. Of note, even though it doesn't state on the menu, our waitress told us we could ask for almost any dish to be made spicier. For dessert they only had one option available which was the lime jelly. The jelly itself tasted plain but was in a bowl of a lime flavored juice or syrup that gave it the flavor. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and was actually rather light and refreshing. Overall this was a good experience and I want to come back for more of the mixed vegetables and to try the dry mix malatang because that might be more my speed than the soup!

This is the best Asian smorgasbord in North America! The staff says there might be a better one in…read moreLas Vegas. But I doubt it! Asian Buffet has all-you-can-eat potstickers! That alone is worth the the price of admission! Do you know how much it would cost me to pay for all the potstickers I ate there if I ordered them from a regular Chinese restaurant??? It would cost a fortune. And I love potstickers! Who doesn't? I usually don't like Japanese food mixed in with Chinese food -- as if they are somehow the same thing. But the sushi at Asian Buffet is so good I have to make an exception: They have really good sushi. Not just the filler junk you usually see, but multiple kinds of crab, and all the other good stuff! Asian Buffet doesn't just have the bland Chinese food that other buffets usually fill-out their selection with. They have Crab and Shrimp and Singapore rice noodles (mǐfěn), and -- one of my favorites -- SESAME BALLS. They even have tapioca pudding and pizza for the kids! Asian Buffet has been open for 8 years, but the enthusiasm of the staff seems like they just opened yesterday, and are vying to provide you with today's exemplary culinary experience. And they do! They not only provide you with all you can eat of some of the best Chinese dishes ever made, but on top of that, they even provide bottomless Pepsi which -- to someone like me who is addicted to caffeine with bubbles -- is AMAZING! I love this place! I'm so glad I discovered it!

Just be careful with how much spice you ask for, a 3 was HOT! But very very good!! The Katsu was AMAZINGGGGGG and the portions are generous, it made great left overs! I am excited to go back and try their boba teas! The starters were amazing, I love crab Rangoon and these were fresh and amazing. We came 1 hour before close because of downtown traffic being so bad, they did not mind and served us fast and the waitress was so kind. It's a very laid back space with plenty of seating!

My other friend ordered the chicken lo mein, which also tasted syrupy and odd. I see the good reviews and I love Asian food, but something was off about the food at this place. The server was nice and friendly despite all of this and prices are very reasonable, but I won't go back to put myself through this pain again.
