I am giving 1 star because they don't allow zero. Purchased +$5000 of patio furniture at the home and garden show this winter and still don't have the entire order. Was told we would have it in April and nothing. Was told we we have the entire order the first week of May...not true. The second week of May, not quite. I called and left a message for a "manager" on Friday in an attempt to find the last piece of undelivered furniture, but the voicemail I left probably went to wherever they are storing the last of my order. No return call as of yet. They might be fine when you are purchasing off the showroom floor, but I'd go to www.wayfair.com I f I had it to do it over. Buy local? When we went in to look at and purchase a hot tub we were told that they would be there for delivery, walk us through set-up, and even to call their personal cell phone anytime with questions. We had acknowledged we were new to spa ownership and would need the help. When we had to reach out to ask questions and called that number, the sales guy informed us he gets a lot of calls and doesn't remember us from the sale. The chemical treatment directions given to us by the Sharonville location were erroneous and omitted essential instructions and tips for proper use. Following the directions resulted in poor chemical levels that caused horrible rashes for our children. We had to drain and start over, researching on our own proper treatment. read more

Buyer beware! Products are beautiful and when in showroom, you are treated wonderfully. After money is collected, that all changes. Now reading other reviews I see it isn't just to me. I ordered outdoor furniture in April and money was collected. I looked at a less expensive set and was told to stay away as the delivery date was 6 months away. I agreed to do the more expensive patio set as the delivery date was around 6 weeks instead. After 3 weeks, I received a call that my furniture had been pushed out an extra 30 days. 2 weeks after, I got an email stating that my furniture would be delayed an additional 3 months, or 6 months from purchasing point. I reached out to associate who said she couldn't help me. Followed by reaching out to General Manager Johnie who advised he could get the furniture in a bit earlier but still 2 months later than promised. I offered to be open to getting something different that was in stock. I received 4 ideas all of which didn't even come close to the set purchased and wouldn't even fit in my space. I was told yet again to wait for another week and be patient to see what came in their shipment. I ended up with a call that I was back to waiting for the 6 month timeframe- not the original 6 weeks, or the 30 days late promised later, or the 2 months early promised by the GM Johnie. I would have gone with the cheaper set to begin with had I known I would be waiting for either for 6 months. I've been tossed around and really saw the lack of integrity with this company. I even had a voicemail that advised me if I could be patient then I would get 15 years of enjoyment of the furniture once it does finally show up. Also as a solution I was told to be happy I bought months ago as prices will be increasing 30-40% in the near future for all of the items. Again, nothing that helps me other than taunting behavior. PLEASE BEWARE THAT IF YOU WANT WVEN MEDIOCRE CUSTOMER SERVICE, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. The sad part is they offer a refund, which is not the best for me the customer as I have to start fresh elsewhere- but I'm sure that is the greatest option for them as they get stock in and raise prices to sell for more money. I want to start by saying this is the first negative review I have ever given however, this product is beyond disappointing in so many ways. My husband and I decided to purchase a hot tub back in April. The first hot tub arrived in May. After using the hot tub for two weeks it started cracking at the bottom. It took us a very long time to get a response and finally after many calls and texts they agreed to replace the hot tub with a new one. The replacement didn't come until the middle of August, which we were totally fine with. However, since we have had it two jets have cracked and broken. When you spend over $7500 on a product you would expect the quality to be way better than this. I now have to try and contact someone again about the 2nd jet breaking and I'm just wondering how long it will take for a replacement. At this point we honestly don't even want this hot tub but are stuck with a big purchase that doesn't look like it is going to last. If you are looking for a hot tub I would seriously consider buying elsewhere. I know that we wish we had. This is our first big purchase through Watson's and it will for sure be our last. read more

I bought a hot tub July 2020, didnt recieve it until dec. The cover had a 4 inch overhang, i called watsons and they sent another one out, this one was too big also. I called the assistant manager and she promised a custom cover in March. the end of june 2021 i talked to a manager and he also promised a custom (better cover). August the 10th the expected date, contacted him august 21 with no response and still no response as i write this review. not sure why it takes a year to get a cover. The cover they sent was a replacement cover that the sizing is universal. I want a cover that fits and goes with the tub i bought. I have been given the run around for a year now. I have bought 2 pools and 2 hot tubs from this company which shows how much they appreciate their customers. They dont even have the courtesy to return calls or texts. BEWARE if you buy something from this company!! The manager admitted that they sent the wrong cover. BTW... when they did deliver the wrong cover, it was left on my driveway without a box, only a ripped up piece of plastic on it in the pouring rain. Didnt have the hardware to attach it to the tub, which is a safety hazzard. I am willing to provide pics if anyone would like to see what i got and how it was delivered. Watson's has very bad customer service and they do not guarantee or stand by their products. Bought a pool cleaner for $900.00 ( I wanted a good one) Lasted 2 months. I took it in to get fixed or a new one, service dept was in chaos. Know one knew anything manager not on site. No chairs to sit on while waiting for someone to tell us what can be done. Lots of customers waitng and complaining. Left our cleaner to be sent out to see what was wrong said would take 6 to 7 weeks. REALLY it will be winter than! Sorry can't help it!? They called in one week said got the part come and get it. (1 hr away) Got it took home did not work (sorry)They put wrong part in. Need to send off for right part. 2 weeks later sorry the part hasn't come in yet. I won,t even buy clorine from Watsons. I recently visited Watson pool on Sharon road. I was looking for an above ground pool. The salesman came an talked me out of buying the pool I wanted to purchase. He stated all of the negatives, that they would tear up my backyard, I would have to purchase the sand and what ever was left I would have to clean up. The salesman was honest on how terrible the service would be an told me to purchase an intex pool for a couple of years an if I liked it to come back. I was insulted at first, however after reading the reviews I am glad he was up front with me. I will be purchasing my pool from All American pools am spa. read more

The initial experience of purchasing several items was very pleasant with Gwen as our saleswoman. She definitely took care of us. The reason I give a 3 star instead of 5 is because the delivery team was less than pleasant. The guys gave us attitude when we directed them where wanted our furniture, they didn't set up the pool table- just left it in boxes on the floor- didn't want to put our theatre seating together (wanted to leave them with the backs off), also while trying to assemble them outdoors while it was raining so the chairs were getting wet. They also leaned the chairs forward on the cement and therefore there was dirt and small gravel imbedded on the front of our leather chairs. They also took a lunch break in our driveway in the middle of the delivery, all the while we had our sons birthday party going on. (Delivery was supposed to be before the party.) read more

Sales people (not their manager) were great! However management is horrible!! Went round and round trying to get our product that had been paid in full. It was either not in or came damaged. Tried to get in touch with the person that was supposed to be the owner Eric I was told was his name, no response! Left multiple messages for Johnny (supposed to be GM) no response!! Complete joke. Nothing done and no response when we tried to get some help with issues. We went months waiting on a wall rack for pool table, when it came it was wrong another month later we picked up a new one, guess what, it was used and in pieces with screw holes stripped out! We changed out the bar we bought, when it arrived it arrived damaged. Couldn't get a response while their drivers were sitting there!! Look at their reviews, once they have your money (about 14k in our case) they don't care!! The original foosball table was delivered with a broken leg, sat there, with the broken leg for 6 weeks!! I could go on and on but again they don't care!! The commercials are a joke because they don't act nothing like they "pretend" to in the commercials. We are debating one of the TV stations to give them the proper exposure and advertising they deserve. We have every bit documented and with pictures!! Great experience until we actually made the purchase. No calls after several delays, they recommend their electrician - we called to make an appointment with Richard, he assured us he's been doing Watson's hot tub hook ups for 15 years and to just have a check ready for 1000. since it was over 40 feet from the breaker box. After 3 months it was delivered, Richard came and informed us we would need to update electrical and a lot of digging involved so it would be closer to 3500 - and then he never came back! Called Watson's, spoke to the manager Rico who said that has nothing to do with them since Richard isn't employed by Watsons, just recommended. So after waiting 3 months we've had to find a new electrician, pay the additional 3500 to have it hooked up (because Watson's was going to charge a 15% restocking fee). Would never recommend this place, or salesman knew we never had a spa and had a house built in the 60s and said it would be no big deal - not that case. read more

We bought a brand new couch, theater style sofa and recliner from Watson's about 5 years ago. We enjoyed the furniture until we noticed it started peeling on the headrest of one of the seats. Now the arms, footrests, seat cushions AND headrests are peeling! Clearly this is not what we thought we were getting when we paid THOUSANDS of dollars for this furniture. At the last family gathering we had at our house, at least two other family members stated they had also purchased furniture from Watson's and it was peeling exactly like ours is, so this is not an isolated incidence. Unless you want to replace your furniture every few years or pay good money to have it recovered, I would not recommend buying your furniture from Watson's! read more

Sales person was excellent, in store and through followups during order and delivery times. We purchased a pool table, billiards chair, billiards wall rack and a bourbon barrel display case. One of a few large purchases over the years at Watson's. On the pool table after 9 months the felt is bubbled up in a couple spots, nothing major but not right for a table that's been played less than 40 times over 9 months. I've owned pool tables in the past and been through 3 rounds of new felt all that shed for a few months and require lots of brushing but finally stop, this felt just won't stop shedding, we have brushed it more than we've played it. So, a couple bubbles on the felt and a ridiculous amount of shedding. Called Watson's today, sent in pics and was told that there is no warranty on the felt, but given a # to a company I could call and pay to come out and re-stretch it. In a time where brick & mortar stores are struggling, and customer obsession wins out, I'm very surprised that Watson's response to a customer issue is to say that I don't have a warranty and to call a different company that I can pay to come out for service. I even responded asking if they would replace just the felt if I paid for the install of it but I was told that was not an option. I would recommend looking at other options for long term satisfaction with your purchases if this is how they respond to a pretty simple, cheap for them issue. read more

We bought a leather sectional from Watsons 5 years ago and the handle on the recliner broke, we called service at the Watsons in Cincinnati and talked to Melinda she found a extra handle and called us back with in a day and held the handle for us and we picked it up and the recliner is back to working again. We have bought several items from Watsons and always go through Ken. Never have any issues with any items. Great place to buy.. Thanks for all you help we appreciate it. read more

Five months ago I bought a very nice hot tub from Watsons cost was around $7000. When it was delivered they dropped it and damage my gazebo but they did repair the damage now it's four months later and the hot tub is leaking and they said they will only pay for the manufacture parts. They want to charge $100 to come out and look at it and $15 every 15 minutes to repair it I think this is very poor customer service and would not recommend Watsons to anyone! read more

This has been the most horrible experience I have ever experienced. Started the process of buying a pool table and shuffleboard table early December. We were finishing our basement, the sales person Dave was exceptional and very helpful but before we knew it the manager of the store Johnie Price took over and from there, it went down hill. They were nice enough to hold for us until we were ready for delivery after our basement was finished. However - since 2/25/19 we have been dealing with issues ever since. We finally scheduled delivery to be done on 3/8; after many issues and not so flexible staff to accommodate a working person's schedule; Then the delivery truck showed up at 8:00 and it was scheduled for after 11:15, needed to get my neighbors involved to communicate the error in time and coordinate coming back at the correct time. On March 12th, we attempted to contact Johnie regarding the lack of delivery of proper equipment, we were also supposed to get a ping pong table topper - and did not get until 4/17. The Pool table cover that we spent extra for was the wrong size; we inquired about this and attempted to contact Johnie again - no luck from 3/12, and then physically going to the store on March 16th; then attempted to check the status with Johnie, due to the lack of communication, on April 4th; finally received a response on 4/6 that it would be delivered on April 10th; Nothing was delivered, follow up sent to Johnie on 4/11 - no response; I called him on 4/14 and he said "oh, I just pulled up your account about 20 minutes ago and it was the wrong date, it will be delivered this Wednesday, April 17th" Needless to say, I was not very happy with the lack of communication especially from someone that is the general manager over the entire store / he said "well that is why I gave you a good deal on the bowling pin set for the shuffleboard table" - which wasn't - I should of bought it off of Amazon for $60; he also continued to say "I'm going to make this right for you due to the issues and do something else for you" - 4/17 - Delivery was made - HOWEVER - THE POOL TABLE COVER IS THE WRONG COLOR! Nothing extra or no follow up - didn't expect it - the table color is a horrific brown color. We were able to put it on though to protect our table finally - which we will be replacing the felt sooner than later due to their lack of care since our table wasn't protected during some of our basement construction. We noticed today that most of the screws on the pool table weren't even screwed in - we can see space between the pieces and the legs; we took pictures - would love to post so everyone knows what to check on before just trusting what is suppose to be the professionals - Absolutely the most horrible and unprofessional experience let alone the pathetic communication - I wish I never went forward with this sale; needless to say they will never get my money again and if anyone asks, I would highly recommend never to step foot in their store. I have never written a negative review for anything in my life; pretty easy to get along with - all I ask is for professionalism and communication, I feel this experience warranted a review. read more

Not a bad place get ideas about what to do around the house. The prices on most of the things seemed a bit high but some things were priced ok. They had a good selection of hot tubs. We bought a Hot Springs hot tub from Watson's about 9 years ago and I must say, we are still as in love with the product and the store as we were the day we bought it! From the initial purchase, to the servicing of the spa over the years, Watson's has been excellent at tending to our every need. We were blown away at the selection and incredible prices we found upon our visit to the store, and had a blast walking through the adult playground that is the Watson's showroom. The excellent customer service we received upon our first visit to the store has never wavered; whenever a question arises about our hot tub, an answer or explanation is just a phone call away! In addition, Watson's has continued to be our first stop for all our spa chemical purchases. They even offer convenient classes at the store as part of their "Watson's Academy" so we can stay up to date on the latest and greatest chemicals on the market. read more

Bought a pool table and 2 stools. First receive the call in the morning giving a 3 hour window time when at the time of purchase we were told it was a 2 hour window. Re-arranged schedules to accommodate. Then 10 mins before said window was up they call to say it might be 90 more minutes or longer before they would get to our house. Per the driver some delivery took longer than expected. Call the store speak to the sales rep Perry that we dealt with. He says let me find out then call you back. Which he did, but all he could say is life isn't perfect, sorry. Which doesn't set well with me and at this time Watson's has lost me as a customer. He shouldn't be taking phones if that is how he speaks to people. Very rude and condescending. read more

I have a bullfrog hot tub that is less than 6 months old and the heater burned out - it has taken Watson's over a month so far and it's not fixed - and they give me the feeling that they could care less if it gets fixed (I have to call them for updates) - for a $7,000+ hot tub I would expect faster and better service. When it does get fixed, I will need to drain, clean and refill the tub, which will keep it down another 2 days - not very relaxing. read more

We purchased an above ground pool mid-April and were told installation was running about three weeks. Three MONTHS later it is still in boxes in our garage. I completely understand that the weather conditions have made pool installation difficult this year, but there's no way they are two months behind schedule only because of the weather. The salesman at Watson's simply told us what we wanted to hear to sell us a pool and hasn't given us a second thought since we swiped the credit card. I usually go here because the chemicals (they have pool and spa) are without a doubt the cheapest that you can get in any store and online. Watson's has a great selection of living/entertainment room and outdoor furniture, hot tubs and pools, grills, pool tables...all kinds of fun man cave kind of stuff. We bought a sectional there that the delivery guys ended up not being able to get into our finsihed basement. Watson's was great about taking it back and refunding all our money. Their furniture selection is good, mid-range kind of stuff at a decent price. Don't get sucked in by their "sales and floor-models" though. That ALWAYS have sales and like many furniture stores, they list their "regular" prices rediculously high so you think you're getting a great deal. If you're patient, do your research and shop around, you'll find a good deal at Watson's...just don't feel you need to buy on the spot. read more

We bought a pool from Watson's a few years ago and just recently purchased a new liner. The employees told us what size liner our size pool needed and they were WRONG. Not only that, but they refused to give us any money off or do anything to fix the situation. They are incompetent and don't care about their customers. Bought an above ground pool and paid the extra 1k dollars to have them install it. They left out the part out where we needed to provide the 5 tons of sand. As we were walking out the door after paying, the sales giy said they will call you a few days before hand to make sure you have the sand ready.... ugh. Thats one day of taking off work to get the sand. Then when the guys do finally show up to dig the yard up, was told another crew will come a week later to put the pool together. So now is another day off work plus another day for the installers to put the pool together. Now i have a mess of a yard where i need to keep my kids away for a week. Very disorganized and no communication. Was going to get a hot tub but after this experience, i will not be biying from them!! read more

Then I go to put my ladder together and the screws are missing.. I called and John the manager did not care whatsoever! He said they would send them in the mail.. such great customer service.. Service has been less than what I expect from Watsons. I purchased a couch a while back and have had more than one issue with it. It took several months for the part to come in. Then the part comes in and I find out only because I called them. Than I had to have the service company they hire out to come to my home. I again have to call them. I was shopping in your Sharonville location on Black Friday. The first person that approached me was a very kind black man, his name was Joe. I told him I would come find him if we saw anything and he was very compliant. Following that we had the same woman approach us four times. Every time persistently telling us her name was Valerie. I told her several times we were being helped. She got more desperate every time she came at us, encouraging us to put money down. After hearing about her financial situation and that she is 100% commission we finally left the building. I went to your other Grand opening back in May. My pool is still sitting wrapped up in my backyard. Watson's have taken on more than they could handle, oh wait, they are not handling the install factors. They wash their hands with it once they get their sale! I had fired one installer for the simple fact that they couldn't keep in contact. No speak of dates, time Nothing... If I wanted to get a Pool at end of season with an end of season price, I would of!! Husband wanted it now! Really what is now?? This store has everything I want for my brand new basement. From Home Theater audio and seating, to pool tables and game tables- they have 'all the fun' as their commercials say. I found incredible deals on outdoor furniture (marked 40% off) and on above ground pools too. The standout was the incredible sales team. They had informed answers to all my questions, and didn't feel like I was pressured at all to make a purchase decision. I went to Watsons last weekend. Worked with a large black lady who was so aggressive my husband went to the car to wait for me. Nice merchandise but overbearing sales person.
