This is the 2nd time we have been here. The first time we had drinks downstairs by the dock. The ambiance is wonderful! The seating is comfortable and they have achieved a feeling of comfort like you're on your own deck and yet elegant as well. This second time we had a late lunch in the inside dining room. The view is super nice in every direction. Everything appears "upper crusty" which carried over when our server came over. We were not drinking and our waiter seemed a tad disinterested in us at that point. I started with the lobster bisque, which was easily the best I've ever had! My husband had onion soup and said it was the best he's had in a long time. I had shrimp tacos which were delicious. It came with chips which were awful...incredibly stale. We've been to this waterfront restaurant in Stuart twice in the past month because it was just that good! Both visits were excellent, and our waiter, Carl, provided outstanding service. For lunch, we sat on the open deck downstairs, which is right on the water--such a great spot to enjoy the views and the breeze. We had the fish tacos, and they were fantastic. A week later, we returned for dinner upstairs, which offers spectacular views of the Indian River Lagoon. The indoor dining area is well-spaced, making conversation easy and enjoyable. I had a Caesar salad with extra anchovies (which they happily accommodated) and the Moroccan cigars as an appetizer--both were delicious. The service can be a bit slow, but it's well worth the wait and doesn't take away from the overall experience. Let's start with a healthy shot (or 3) of Don Julio Anejo as we wait for the appetizers. The view on the St Lucie River is gorgeous. There's a cool breeze, you see the fish jumping, people walking on the pier. Our server, Kirsten, was very bubbly, attentive. We ordered our goto calamari as an appetizer and these didn't disappoint. Moist, soft, lightly breaded and well seasoned. The presentation of the steamed mussels I have to say, was quite good. The plate is covered in what seemed to be a very thin, soft, pizza dough. It was dusted in cheese (I think parmesan) along with other seasonings. When you pop the dough bubble, you get a whiff of the steamed mussels basting in that oh so sweet Marzano sauce. They use PEI mussels, and they really complement the sauce (or vice versa). Meaty, slightly sweet, albeit kinda small, but really delicious. This was all followed by lobster bisque which was chock full of lobster bits. The soup was oh so smooth. Lightly salted, velvety soft on the palate, not heavily seasoned at all. Next was the short rib cheese sandwich...OMG! I was a bit hesitant to get a grilled cheese sandwich, but I'm sure glad I did. The short ribs were melt in your mouth soft, the cheese had the right pull and the thick texas toast was right on point. Finish the meal with a palate cleansing raspberry sorbet and my evening was complete. This was an excellent finish to what started out to be a terrible day. I'll be stopping by again. We discussed the menu with our terrific server, Hannah, and ordered her favorites. My wife had her favorite cocktail, the Blackberry Bliss and I order a nice Chardonnay by the glass. For appetizers we ordered 2 of her favorites: Crab Avacado Mango Stack & Moroccan Cigars. My wife also ordered the Lobster Bisque. We went on a Saturday night around 7:30 PM and luckily we were seated immediately. We had a perfect table with a beautiful view of the water. We actually had a wonderful experience here and the food was very tasty. The drinks were great as well. Some items a little pricey. I think the charcuterie board was about 28 bucks. Service was great Nico was very friendly. Based on our experience, I would definitely recommend this place. Our bill for three of us with an app and one per person was about $190 without the tip. We sat upstairs in the air conditioning area, but apparently downstairs is open air and the cool thing is they have a dock that you can walk out on to really enhance the entire experience. The batter was light and they were super crispy. The sriracha aioli was one of the best I've ever had. The truffle fries were delicious and were more akin to a hybrid between a fry and a chip. When I say the BEST I mean the BEST Salmon BLT EVER!!!! I had never seen anything like it before , we are visiting from Cali . Our friends recommended . Bear with me. I happened upon Waterfront when I was walking the boardwalk near downtown Stuart. This was a few months ago and it was pretty cold out. I went into the downstairs bar area, which only had a few people in it because of the temperature. I ordered a beer and the bartender obviously knew I was cold (I only had a tee-shirt - I thought SE Fla would be hot in January ). Now this guy is something else. His name is Santana. He disappeared for a few minutes and then returned with a jacket he had in his car - for me! I put it on and now that I wasn't shivering, I had another beer and a great experience. Thanks Waterfront! Came here for lunch. This place is beautiful! With both indoor and outdoor seating offering amazing views on the water. Our waiter was patient and friendly. I started with the El Diablo Margarita (extra spicy). My cocktail was delicious and refreshing. I had a strawberry margarita to follow that was equally delicious. For my entree I chose the shrimp tacos (no avocado, sub fries for chips). The tacos were phenomenal! I could go back for those alone. The fries were yummy. Ate here recently and should have tried this place sooner. It's upscale casual right on the water, with view from the bridge going east. The food was very good and the service was exceptional. We'd read some reviews on yelp and decided to come here for dinner. We went to their downstairs location as I'd read this was a more casual setting. We wound up sitting at the bar looking out at the water... We had fantastic service from both Santana and Steve at the bar. Both guys were professional and personable. We had nice discussions with both of them between their providing drinks for the rest of the restaurant. I started with their lobster bisque. It had a nice touch of sherry in it, and some welcome chunks of lobster meat in the creamy base. It was very good. My husband had their cornbread skillet. This was baked sweet cornbread in its pan topped with beef short rib meat and "cowboy candy" -- candied jalapenos. There was some sort of white sauce described as Alabama BBQ on top of everything. He said it had a kick and was excellent. He also said it was quite filling. I also had a grilled Caesar salad with two charred hearts of romaine topped with lots of parmesan cheese and some dressing. I added shrimp to my salad, and they were lightly grilled (it would have been better if more grilled). I shared some of my salad with my husband. Came here for dinner with my coworkers while in town. When I arrived, the parking lot was extremely packed. I could hardly find parking. I had to go around one more time and was able to find a parking spot when I arrived. I was amazed by the decor and the breathtaking views. Our server was very friendly and informative on the menu and honest about the dishes. I had scallop divers which came with a vanilla risotto and butternut squash when the entrée came I was not impressed so much with the plate. It was literally a spoonful of risotto for 4-5 scallops on top of it and then in the middle was, probably another 3 tablespoons of butternut squash. The risotto was a bit dry to me to be honest I was looking for a little bit more flavor. The scallops were good the butternut squash was lacking flavor. My coworker had the duck entrée which she loved, she didn't leave anything on her plate, my other coworker had the pesto pasta with scallops which she thought was very flavorful and a good portion size for dinner. The manager was on the floor and also was very interested in our experience and made sure the new batch of nachos came right out. It was very good. Service is good on both floors but I'd give an edge to upstairs - as it should be i.e., the more you pay the more attentive the service should be. The only reason for 4 stars is simply that it is often very crowded downstairs. Do not expect to be immediately seated nor find open bar seats at night. Lower level offers a different menu with mostly a variety of taco options, bar and more casual. Upper level is casual but more upscale with a different menu. The water views are gorgeous, pricing is on the higher side. I must say, it's the first time I enjoy everything we tried at a waterside restaurant. We went twice.. first time sat at the bar for happy hour down stairs great vibe nice scenery, great bartenders. Got the mussels. They were a big hit! The sliders were also good. The bartender told us that the lamb shank and the duck were a must try for dinner. So we came back when we got back into town. The lamb was horrible! I sent it back. It looked and tasted like it had been reheated more than twice. Was a huge disappointment. My husband wouldn't even try it!
