After a day of checking out the stores for the side walk sales, I was not ready to call it quits and walked in and was able to have a delicious espresso martini! That was just the right amount of sweet, and had a biscotti! Which was a great touch! I also had very tasty old fashioned that were smoked, and! You could choose your level of ! I had not expected that before so it was a fun experience. Check this place out if you are in the area! I can't wait to go back!

People were sitting at the bar, laughing/joking, working on their computers, and talking about music. It seems like this place has a great regular crowd--I was happy to observe and be apart of the environment. Jenny was our kava queen (bartender?) and was such a joy! Super knowledgeable and kind. She's a good little hooper too! It had been a while since we had kava but I feel like this time around was better for sure. Kava is definitely a bitter drink but there are ways to make it better. (In the photo it shows the starter kava with an orange slice.) We also got little s'mores kava shots which were super yummy! Only a little tail end of the bitterness but not much at all. I ordered the kava mix that has apple juice in it (I forgot the name, I apologize) which was pretty great too. At the end, make sure to throw a little water on the bottom to get the rest of the sediment/good stuff! Overall this was a cool experience. I definitely felt more relaxed and the corners of my mouth were numbed/tingly. Make sure you hydrate and don't be shy to ask what's what about kava. Enjoy!

Lots of seating and tables for people to sit and enjoy the music, plus a bar full of craft beers. Due to my bad knee, this is where I ended up sitting and the view was great. My bartender Tom was fast, efficient, friendly, and guided me toward a new sour I'd never tried before but loved.

Even though we were early it was a older crowd so alot of smart people were early too and grabbed the assortment of chairs. But it gave us a chance to wander a round a little bit. Its a great spot, it really feels like you're in a buddy's back yard. We got our drinks and a pretty good spot on the let side. The band was solid, and the acoustics of the place didn't hurt the sound at all. It was a nice summer night and both bands killed it. The price was right too, from the entry to the drinks. Add in a cool name and you got a place that we will come up to again for a solid band.
