Amazing last dinner on my Kelowna trip! I had a (huge) glass of red sangria with an apple chutney floater and it was probably the best sangria I've ever had. To eat, I had the cheese board (the cheeses rotate, I chose cheddar/gruyere/gouda) which was incredible, and the fries with lemon pepper mayo and house made ketchup. AMAZING fries with delicious dipping sauces is the way to my heart and they nailed it. I also had the cherry creme brûlée for dessert which was good, I was just hoping for a cherry flavored custard and it was just cherries on the bottom. Highly recommend, I'll be back!

What a lovely little gem tucked in a corner near the waterfront. Sat at the bar for a delish cocktail & a delish crisp featured rose by Roche. We had to try their famous Foie Gras terrine with apricot & crostini's to pair with our drinks & it did not disappoint! I really wanted to lick the jar clean! Our fun server did offer us additional crostini when she noticed we were running low. Will be back for dinner!

If you're looking for an upscale gourmet restaurant experience in Kelowna, this place is it! We made reservations for our dinner as this restaurant is smaller and extremely busy (hard to get into without reservations). We sat at the bar since it was just two of us and we didn't mind. The bartender was our server and he was absolutely fantastic! He recommended dishes and sides to go with our protein choices that the chef was currently making as their "local ingredients" came in. We started the dinner with a sample of some wine from local winery tantalus, and ordered the steak with potatoes and the recommended lobster mushrooms which are locally sourced and tasted absolutely delicious! We also had the scallop risotto which was so rich in flavour and fresh tasting scallop cooked to perfection, we also ordered a 1/2 order of the burrata cheese that is also locally made. Absolutely yum!! This entire meal was delicious. I only wish we had ordered cocktails but we enjoyed our dinner with wine. The service was great! Everyone was friendly and Covid safe. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a a higher end meal in Kelowna!

In the heart of Kelowna downtown lies a gem, one that crafts up delightful dishes that if you're in town you must try! Gemelli pasta, hamachi cheeks, seared halibut and hazelnut cake, all were exceptional! If you must choose, we'd recommend the gemelli pasta. Pasta is authentic and al dente which makes you think it's straight out of Italy. The hazelnut cake is a must order for nutty fans, with chocolatey cream and crunches sprinkled on top, you'd feel you're eating nutella less the overly sweetness!

Absolutely loved this place! Our server was amazing and the food was fantastic! They have a great variety of wine and cocktails. The potted foie gras was sweet and unique, charcuterie plate was delicious, my partner had the halibut, the duck breast was cooked just right! At first I was doubtful of the portions but we were absolutely stuffed. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends or family! We will definitely go back to this restaurant when we're in town.

Our servers on both occasions were highlights, attentive yet also leaving us be. Last night it was just K and I and the previous visit there were five of us outside on the patio. The space is nicely decorated but has no real charm or ambiance, which is understandable in a big hotel. The menu is extensive enough that you should be able to find something to meet the needs of your palate while here, but there are many choices within walking distance that may be a better choice of you are looking for a specific culinary experience. If you don't want to leave the hotel, you shouldn't be disappointed with your choice. Our food while not amazing during each visit was solid, and well presented. It might be a little on the higher end cost wise, but what isn't these days. Given all the choices in the neighbourhood within a short stroll, you may want to explore, but also understand the best choice might be in the hotel you're staying at.

You walk in and it's always bumping and bartender is always making funky and cool drinks and everyone's always having a great time. Lots of conversation between friends or even between strangers at the bar. Service was always great. I've always appreciated their evolution of their dishes and it was never boring to come back again and again. We booked a Happy Hour reservation for the long Sunday Easter long weekend at 4:30pm and we were the first to arrive. As Salt & Brick has an evolving fresh sheet menu, you never know what's on the menu but they usually have a few staples like their Brussel sprouts. As this was my boyfriend's first time here, we ordered the Brussell sprouts with popcorn and the Rigatoni. We were given the regular menu but did inquire about Happy Hour and the Brussel sprouts, pastas, and charcuterie board were on special. Unfortunately, they didn't have any oysters available that day. Small cozy atmosphere with a cute front porch. It's a small bar and kitchen that you can see and wonderful that you see and hear all the food being freshly made to order. Our server was friendly, chatty, and attentive but also gave us our space too. The Brussel sprouts served with cheddar popcorn, grapes, and ripped beer cheese is a bit salty, sweet, and so satisfying! My partner doesn't love Brussel sprouts but really enjoyed this dish. The Rigatoni was a bit rich with a nettle became sauce but served with the earthy lily spears, it was a well rounded dish altogether that we also enjoyed. Cute restaurant on the Downtown main strip that isn't a major chain, which is refreshing. Will continue to visit next time in town and hopefully they will have oysters then!

The dish had a refined French touch, with balanced seasoning that let the ingredients shine rather than being overpowered by salt. I paired it with a glass of Bordeaux, which elevated the flavors beautifully. The pâté was incredibly well-seasoned, with a smooth yet rich texture. The onions and pickles were a standout--normally, I'm not a fan of preserved vegetables, but these weren't overly sour. Instead, they added a refreshing contrast and helped cut through any heaviness, making each bite feel perfectly balanced. The onions even had a subtle sweetness that complemented the pâté's savory depth. The duck was melt-in-your-mouth tender yet retained a satisfying bite, with a perfect pink center. The red wine sauce brought out the richness of the meat, and paired with the house wine, it was simply perfection. Venue Soft French melodies playing in the background set a relaxed, Parisian-style ambiance. It truly felt like a little escape to France. Service The server greeted us in French--such a charming and welcoming touch! They had a great sense of humor, making the experience even more enjoyable. Midway through dinner, I caught the aroma of another table's lamb rack, and wow--it smelled incredible. Definitely my biggest regret of the night not ordering it, but now I have the perfect excuse to come back! Overall: A must-visit for French cuisine lovers. Can't wait to return! Similar but different, it promises a premium steakhouse experience, which it, for the most part, delivered. The building itself is cool, with plenty of parking across the street, or on the street. It's dark inside like a steakhouse should be. Timbers on the ceiling, good sized booths not to close together. The service was excellent as would be expected given the prices. The table side Caesar salad was very tasty, and well presented. Our waiter was top notch, and the maître de came around and showed us the cuts of steak while explaining how they should be cooked. The sides were very good, served family style. The mashed potatoes were top quality, and the fries (we had a young person with us) great as well. The steaks were all excellent, except my tenderloin, that looked unlike any tenderloin that I have ever been served. It had a fair amount of fat, which I've not seen before and was hanging out one side (see photos). The "choose your weapon" was a nice touch, I'll let you experience that for yourselves. We all had a dessert which were great, other than my sorbet that had quite a few icy bits and chunks on it, which should not be there. Overall almost perfect, as it should be given the bill, but that $60 steak should have been fed to the staff. Would we go again, probably.
