As for the playground, there are two. They are separated into something for the littler ones and something for the bigger ones. The little ones have a rather large enclosed area with a couple of climbing activities, a swing set, and a really cool jeep to drive. The bigger ones also have something to climb on, across, and all over the place. There is also one of those really cool new school merry-go-rounds. There are lots of benches and picnic tables in the shade. They also have water fountains, and even one for the doggies. Of course my little guy thought it was for him! Attached to the park is an enclosed dog park too. You can also have your dog in the playground part. The best part about Hazel Parker Playground is that they have free parking!! There aren't many spaces, buy every time we have gone there has been a space. SO nice! The playground is always clean and rather quiet. A lovely place to spend an afternoon!
