We had the pleasure of attending our friends' 2 year-old's birthday party at OutSlide last weekend. We were AMAZED at how much fun the kids were having at the handkerchief wall (SURPRISE hit), pizza shop (adorbs), and all the Playground's big slides. As small as Outslide is, there are plenty of activities to keep smaller kids occupied for a few hours. We're writing this review to specifically compliment OutSlide on their hosting and service. We were in the private corner room, unbothered, and well taken care of (staff). The staff was friendly, proactive, and helped when needed. We had pizza, nuggs, and cake delivered with zero issues. We brought my daughter here on a Tuesday morning at 10:15 am. School is in session so we were one of only a few people there. It was perfect. I was really impressed with how clean this place is and they are constantly cleaning while you are there too. I also loved that each play area was well stocked. For example, the grocery store actually had boxed groceries. The veterinarian actually had animals and tools to examine the animals. The pizza place had lots of felt toppings for the four pizzas. The climbing area is cool and those slides are really fast (especially the twisty ones). Be sure to walk to the front and make a right so you don't miss the air tubes that you put scarves through as well as the large connect four. We also loved the giant Lite Brite and the "hamster wheel" that moves nice and slow for kids. My daughter had a great time and we will definitely be back but only during school and early in the morning because this isn't super big and I imagine it is crazy on weekends, etc. read more

My daughter (who is almost 5) loves this place! We've been going for a couple of years now. She's old enough to participate in Parents Night Out and always has an amazing time. She goes with her best friend and then the adults go out to dinner! She gets pizza, face painting, glow light playtime in the slides and I get a few hours of calm. We go on Tuesdays during the week. They give a discount if you bring a non perishable food item with you to donate. So Nora and her best friend choose an item or two to bring and we head over. I highly recommend bringing your kids here. They have beer and wine along with soda, a coffee bar, etc. The free wifi and parents lounge area is nice because I can get some work done while they get tired. read more

The girl I nannied for loved it but if I'm being honest, i probably enjoyed it more than her! They have several staged rooms such as a supermarket, vet and firehouse that are perfect for dramatic play. They have a lot of Interactive games as well as an area for infants or smaller babies. Out of the handful of times that I've been there (mostly during the work week), it's never been too busy. We could easily spend a couple of hours here with everything they have to offer! read more

What an awesome place for kids! My son went here on a school field trip before covid and wouldn't stop talking about it. He recently got to go back for a classmate's birthday party and it was a blast! It was a private party so it wasn't crowded at all. Everything was super clean, staff was super friendly and helpful, and the kids just loved it. Slides, climbing, hiding spots, pretend play, air tubes, light touch screens, everything! There was a big party room where pizza and party things were served. Great set up, will go back probably after covid. I saw they also offer snacks and adult drinks (aka coffee and alcohol). 2 maybe 2.5 stars I came here based off recommendations but I just really hate the dead vibe of the mall location but I looked passed it. The drink area being the same area you enter and pay to check in is a little inconvenient because it can get a little crowded. Next the 2 and under area is so small there is one climbing and slide castle thing and tots can be a little territorial when it comes to it and there's not much else in that area aside from a few things on the wall. We finally deceived to go into the larger play room and while the climbing area was pretty tall and neat they also had play rooms but they're small and really hot and the attendants don't let kids bring things around with them. Lastly I personally didn't think the workers in the area were that nice to the kids and there were tons of people walking around the play areas with shoes on don't think I'll be back here pros: decent price, serve alcohol (not sure if drunk parents around kids is a plus but I guess nice to take the edge off) read more

My toddler could spend the whole day roaming around OutSlide In and honestly I always have a blast with him too. There are so many activities for all ages and preferences and as a grown woman trying to crawl around with my son, it's so spacious! The staff is friendly and always sanitizing! For a kids play center, it's extremely clean and organized. The bathrooms are also clean and there are plenty of cubbies to store your personal items or several seating areas to relax. Love, love, love it here! We are so glad they built this indoor playground in the West Ashley area since we didn't have anything like it. It's extremely large with lots of seating for parents and a separate baby-toddler area as well. We hosted our daughter's 3rd birthday here and she had a blast. I appreciate that their staff is continuously keeping the place clean. They are constantly picking up toys and putting them back, keeping the bathrooms and facility spotless. I recommend going during the weekdays or evenings. The weekends are the busiest especially because of the birthday parties. Oh, and they sell coffee, beer & wine! I took kids I was babysitting here, aged 8 and almost 4. They had visited before with their parents, but it was my first time. They had a blast! The almost 4 year old loved the themed rooms and the 8 year old loved the bigger play structures. There was a rather large area that was empty aside from some face-in-hole photo props, so hopefully they will add something more entertaining there. The staff was great and the facility was clean. That said, it is a little pricey. I think offering memberships would be very useful. I'm glad I was able to check this facility out with older kids before bringing my 10 month old twins here. While nice, the section for 2 & under is small, so I don't foresee bringing my twins there yet for the price. For days I want to take them out to a play place, I'll stick to the kid rooms at the local libraries. read more

A little on the expensive side but luckily the entrance fee gets you access during an entire business day and you can leave and go back in without paying again (on the same day). It's similar to The Children's Museum in that they have theme rooms (fire station, grocery, kitchen, vet, etc) but they have a nice big play structure that the kids have a blast on. This was our first time here and I was impressed. It wasn't As big as i thought it was, but it was the perfect size. They were extremely clean and took your temperature before you walked in. They cleaned up after everyone at all times. They had a young lady standing around cleaning the toys and slides after a few uses. They were very good at watching the children and making sure everyone was safe. There was a separate section for kids under 2 which was great so that the bigger kids couldn't trample them. Lots of older kids in the tot zone and the staff weren't monitoring or asking them to leave. It felt unsafe for my younger toddler as the older kids were climbing on the slippery structure in the middle in socks over the tots on the ground as well as hopping in/out of the space over the wall to play hide and seek. read more

Overall - I love the concept. You can tell a lot of work went into designing and building it. It has so many cool parts and nooks and crannies that kept my 2 busy for hours and my littlest has the shortest attention span. I don't understand the bad reviews. I'm a parent and told my own to stop running and screaming. Just because you're somewhere fun doesn't give liberty for the kids to scream. Have fun on the slides and playing pizza restaurant etc but have consideration for the workers and other people. The other bad review was about them letting a kid leave with her friend. Maybe people should be responsible for watching their own children. How can the front desk person keep track of every kid that came in with every adult. Just watch your kids. The only thing that would make it better would be good cafe drinks. They say they have lattes but it was the worst drink I'd ever had and you can't bring your own in. I also wish they had sibling membership discounts like the first sibling a price and the second a discounted rate. It's expensive if you want a membership for more than one child which we'd get but I don't know if a membership for two is worth $480 a year. Maybe a family price. I'd love to sit- enjoy my latte and watch my kids play- while I tell them to stop yelling. read more

My kids love this place! We easily spend 2-3 hours here each visit. I like that it is carpeted and all spaces are frequently cleaned. The owners are there frequently and genuinely seem to like kids. Holy cow this place is worth 10 stars! What I loved the MOST was how clean it was! (uber important in the middle of flu season.) I also loved to see how the owner was working just as hard or even harder the entire hour and half we were there cleaning and sanitizing the structures and making sure all the children were safe and supervised. My son had a blast (and I did too). We spent almost two hours there, but it honestly didn't feel like it. They have about three or four theme rooms (firehouse, vet clinic, grocery store, and I can't remember the other one).
