The young female instructor gave the group very clear directions & spelled out everything in concise, easy to understand language for kids. She explained the gear & the importance of taking good care of one's "koala," (the metal toggle attached to the thick metal zipline.) Before I knew it, my son was off & running. He did the first run, the second, then completed the whole circuit. He did it over & over, & even opted for the next level up! I saw the owner actually work one on one for over 30 minutes with a boy who wasn't ready to do the zip line but wanted to try the rock wall instead. This is a really fun concept & I love how each person does the course on his own, with the guides present mostly for encouragement & for keeping things running safely & smoothly. It is a great outfit for a celebration like a birthday, team building for professionals, or simply for some family bonding. It's very clean, well-run, & the guides are top notch. The teachers went so far above and beyond to make every child feel seen, welcomed, and included. You can tell they love what they do. The space itself is absolutely stunning. Beautiful, clean, thoughtfully designed, and filled with great toys that encouraged so much imaginative play. My son had the best time and for a little while we were able to forget about everything happening outside those walls. Thank you for showing such kindness during such a difficult weekend. We took our two small toddlers (2 & 3 year old) on a weekday late morning/lunch time and stayed for three hours ( 3 year old wanted to stay longer but it was already past naptime!). There's plenty of shade and chairs when we went but I can see how it could get packed on a weekend. There's also shade in the bigger swimming area but not any in the shallow area where the babies play. There's two slides, one for the babies and one for older kids. Life jackets to borrow but we brought our own, which could come in handy on weekends when it's crowded. There's also a snack bar with plenty of options and ice cream at the front desk. And it's definitely comforting to see all the lifeguards (I counted 9) watching over all the kids and being really attentive about it and actually doing their job. Highly recommend coming here if you have young kiddos! We'll definitely be back!
