Mellow and Play Cafe is a wonderful coffee and pastry shop where you can be refreshed, relax, and occupy the kids in one location. I had such a good time experiencing quality coffee and tranquility while the kids could go make use of the bounce house park in the back. My husband ordered a salted caramel cold brew while I enjoyed the honey lavender cold brew. When I tell you the richness and smoothness was present in every sip I'm not exaggerating. I really enjoyed the drink and it's so cool that they provide a place for the children. You can even book a child's party here if you'd like. From just this one visit I can highly recommend them. They even have a mobile truck so you can book them for events. Please go check them out because it's worth your time!

The coffee shop part is great. It's great coffee, a solid range of flavor options, delicious baked goods, and a nice set of options for little ones. The play side of Mellow and Play was nice but just not worth the cost to get in. It was 94* out today and it didn't take us long to notice there was no air conditioning in the indoor playground. There were a few table top fans that were no where near the play space and then one of the big fans that inflates the jump castles was being used as a fan. By the time we'd been there for 30min, we were SWEATING. I'm unsure if their AC was out but the general set up made me think they simply don't have AC in a space made for small children. Which, in cooler climates, would be fine BUT not here in the South in the summer.

If you're looking for a place to go to whether it's hot or rainy, this is definitely the spot mellow Café. They got coffees and muffins and they have memberships that I would definitely look into. The service is great. Atmosphere is one of those places where, if you have to work you can as your kid play's to their heart's content. You can do that thanks to the Nice divider for the kids as well as for the adults. One spot to work at or to enjoy some comfy couches.

A great place to burn off some energy for the kids during the hot summer months. Something for all ages of kids and in a safe clean environment. Make sure to bring socks. The coffee shop is delicious and you must try the iced vanilla chai tea latte. Yummy! Free Wi-Fi available for parents to work.

It's so much when you can find a place to have a good coffee, sit and relax and be able to your kids enjoy a good time jumping at the same time.... that's right!.... I am talking to parent that needs that time where you don't need to worrie about your kids. The coffee was delicious & the service was great... parking available. Enjoy.

I went here for a birthday party and every aspect was good. Everything seemed cleaned recently (which is huge with kids, toys, snotty noses and kids that put everything in their mouths. The workers were super nice including the young girl helping in the play area. My girl is almost 2 and there was plenty for her to do. She especially liked the inflatable slide.

I'm not sure why the reviews vary so much, but my three night stay between Christmas and New Year's…read morewas excellent. The only hiccup that occurred was that the room I'd reserved on the first floor through my app wasn't available at 3:30, so we were given another room that WAS ready on the second floor. Not a big deal at all. If you travel a lot, it happens sometimes. A man named Joe checked us in. He was very friendly and had lots of helpful info to share. We were in the area because my husband was having surgery at a hospital a short distance away (a hospital that does NOT get the same glowing review as this hotel) and I had to bring my small dog. It's a pet friendly hotel and there were lots of other dogs there. Speaking of dogs - the dog walking area was excellent, clean, and always stocked with bags for cleanup and was in a safe, well-lit area. Our room, upon check in, was very clean and was absent of any odor discussed in other reviews. There was the normal wear and tear of a hotel room IF you inspected the room with a magnifying glass, but honestly...it was a lovely, clean, fresh room. We even received a greeting text from the GM, Pavi. She was also incredibly friendly and helpful and let me know to contact her if we ever had any questions or issues. She also snapped a pic of my little dog by their Christmas tree. Little things like that really can make people feel "at home" when they're away from home. Her kindness actually soothed my frazzled nerves (regarding my husband's hospital stay. We didn't talk about that, but just having a friendly face greet you was very nice.) I was coming and going at odd hours and didn't feel like exploring the areas, so my meals came mostly via the hotel's canteen. They had an excellent array of beverages, frozen dinners, snacks, and desserts. I pretty much ate exclusively from those offerings, cooking with my microwave, eating from the dishes provided. They also provide dish soap and dish cloths so that you can wash your dishes and keep things tidy! I took it as a good sign that they had Blue Bell ice cream in the freezer as well! Prices were fair, too. For all that I ate, I would've spent the same at a fast food restaurant. It was nice to be able to eat and go straight to sleep. There were, of course, the normal things that come and go with hotel stays - heavy walkers, guests laughing loudly or chatting, other barking dogs (my dog doesn't bark...he makes a noise that sounds like a screaming woman, so...thankfully, he kept quiet), but nothing so terrible that it marred my stay and all the responsibilities of guests themselves, not the hotel. (Nothing got crazy or out of hand. Just people, being alive!) The hotel lobby was still decorated for the holidays and it gave a sense home, cheer and joy that other hotels may lack. It was a nice touch! Breakfast is just above par for the breakfast buffet. Hot items included waffles, breakfast sandwiches, bagels you can toast on your own, cold cereals, juice, and fruit. It was a nice selection! There were been breakfast bowls in the hot box. Delightful choices! This Home2Suites provided everything that I needed and went above and beyond to make me comfortable. I'm giving five stars for: - demeanor of staff. Everyone I met, from check in, to management, to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. - cleanliness. My room was very clean and smelled fresh upon check in. Sheets and bed were immaculate. - location. If you are there to visit the local university or the hospital or other business-related things, it's a great location. (It's probably not a strategic location for tourists. - room temperature. I like things COLD. While the hallways were a little warm for me (the outdoor weather was cold), my room held a nice and chilly temperature.

I made the reservation on the Hilton App at a surprisingly good rate. When we arrived, I checked in on the app and then use the app to open our room door. We never had to go to the front desk. The room was immaculately clean and the furnishings looked fairly new. The bed and pillows were both comfortable and the room came with a full size refrigerator, large microwave, and a large kitchen sink. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. When we left, I checked out on the app and received my receipt later that day. Great stay and super easy.

The appetizers were very good although I didn't grasp the concept behind sweet calamari it was cooked perfectly and tender, the escargot were buttery and delicious. I had the chicken with the cognac sauce. (I know not very exciting) but I've been in the mood for a roasted piece of chicken for a little bit...and not only was the chicken expertly prepared and cooked but it tasted amazing, seasoned perfectly. The gnocchi and asparagus that accompanied it were delicious as well. It was single-handedly one of the best chicken dishes I've had. My wife had the fillet mignon with the fig demi, potato gratin and it again was completely spot on for tenderness, seasoning and flavor. It was delicious as well. My 4 year old basically demanded we get the chocolate cake for dessert and they said it was delicious. It definitely was large enough to shared with 3 or 4 people if you wanted a few tastes. The house is really exquisite inside and you can tell great care was taken in renovations. All in all it was a great dining experience and we are so glad we tried Kersey House, we will definitely be back!

The chicken Katsu sliders - Mediocre at best. Lukewarm and the chicken was overcooked (breading way overdone). The tots - so overly fried! Basically inedible. They tasted like grease and again lukewarm. The kids chicken bites - if you have a child with a loose tooth that you want to get out, definitely order these! These chicken bites could also be used as a weapon, the breading is so stinking hard! the only positive thing I can say is that these came out very warm! The fries - lukewarm and boring. Pretzel bites - here's the big winner! These were very warm and a queso and honey mustard are good! Not pictured - a 16 ounce aluminum can of miller light. We specifically ordered this instead of draft as obviously draft gets hot really quickly in this weather, but this came out about the temperature of a draft that had been out for 15 or so minutes. I actually put the entire can in a big cup of ice water to chill it. ‍ Either it sat on the bar waiting to be delivered for too long or the coolers need to be turned up! Overall, a disappointing culinary experience. It's too bad because they really used to be great!
