Pretty neat place. We signed up to get a lane online and were happy to walk right in and get started. Make sure to bring close toed shoes but if you don't, you can rent shoes for a small fee. We rented the lane for thirty minutes but would have enjoyed playing for longer. You can buy alcohol while you play and the staff is great about teaching you techniques to be successful in throwing axes.

MAN!!! We had a BLAST at this place! 4th of July special. $20 for 90-minutes. It was well lit. I recommend instructing axe throwing rookies! If you're reading this & you're in there with a group, play the 5-star Knockout game! So much fun! Shout out to James & Libby!

What a fun time! We got there and they explained the rules and walked us through safety precautions. They helped us learn how to throw and taught us some games. 4 of us got 90 min and it was a great amount of time for us to have fun and not feel rushed! They had a large selection of beer and were very attentive. They have specials and events and are starting league nights! Would go back again for sure!

Go and give this place a try! Great for families with kids 10 And older, date nights, or just a single person wanting to have some fun! The staff is super friendly and they have some canned spirits as well as snacks available. We LOVED axe throwing and will be back!!

Great family fun time. It was their anniversary so they had a food truck, raffles, free cookies, game challenges and a great band. Everyone was friendly and most helpful when a couple of my friends were axe throwing challenged. Highly recommend. They do serve beer, sodas, and canned wine. No food.

We dig their swag as well!

It's not a date night kind of place. Much better for a group of friends getting together.

We settled on Chucktown and drove up to North Charleston to check it out. We reserved the mini golf in advance on their website, though honestly the axe throwing looked much more fun. There was a little wait to check in and then we were given our clubs and balls. It was a small course and not what you'd typically expect from indoor mini golf. The sets looked pretty old, like they could use a refresh, but we had a good time overall. Other people had the same idea as us, so it was very crowded in there. It's connected to a brewery too, so we tried some samples on our way out.

I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but there were several issues. When we arrived, the guy at the front counter told us there would be a 20-minute wait for axe throwing. To pass the time, we bought the all-activities pass and asked how we'd know when it was our turn. He said he would come find us, but after waiting over 30 minutes, two groups went ahead of us--one had a reservation, which we understand, but the other group purchased their pass after we did. It also seemed like they didn't have enough staff to manage everything. The front counter employee left in the middle of our transaction to go over safety protocols with another group. About five minutes later, another employee came up and rather rudely asked us to move so another group could fill out forms. Eventually, someone else completed our transaction, but almost handed our purchase to the wrong group. There was no system in place--no wristbands or any clear way to track what you paid for or when it was your turn. The space was overcrowded, and there was little to no guidance on what to do after purchasing. In the end, we only managed to play a bit of Tetris and didn't get to enjoy any of the activities we paid for. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and the online presentation of this place is misleading compared to what it's actually like in person.

My husband and I sat at the bar, where TVs and classic old-school game consoles were built-in to the bar top. We've never seen anything like it and it was really cool/unexpected! We ordered 3 slices of pizza to share; 2 cheese and a pepperoni. The pizza comes from the place next door and was the perfect chewy dough and gooey cheese combo. I already want to come back for more! I would definitely recommend checking this place out for a nostalgic experience ;)

The bar is beer and wine only with a few sake cocktails, but they have tons of beer options both in cans/bottles and on draft. Lots of local selections as well. You can also order pizza from the place next door so that's kind of cool. There's tons of games like air hockey, pool, skeeball, pinball, shooting games, racing games...and they all work! Which I feel like never happens at arcades. The staff is 10/10 too. I also am so amazed at how this establishment started as an axe place then had a fire that closed it down then axe throwing became a thing of the past and they keep rolling with the punches. I like this version the best! They also have cool events such as cabaret shows and pride events and music events. Each one a little different adding to the Park Circle flair. Kids are also allowed during the day (maybe all day I'm not sure) so this is a good option for parents needing an indoor activity that can please everyone.

Though, it was off the island, this was still a nice place to visit. I believe this was in Bluffton. The owner was extremely nice and explained to us that the location was recently purchased by him and his wife. He is a retired military guy (thank you for your service) and is doing this for fun now (to keep occupied). He and his wife do competitive axe throwing now and was showing us various techniques of throwing the axes. When it was our turn to throw the axes, the owner showed us the proper way to throw the axe. Take the axe over your head. Hold the axe in your primary hand and wrap your non dominant hand over the dominant hand. have your dominant foot forward. with 2 steps, release the axe when in the middle of the 2nd step. surprisingly, this was easier than expected. Each one of the members in my party was able to hit the bullseye after a few tries. The competition aspect of the game made it more fun, scoring and playing against each other. With the facility. The night we went was not that busy, but it looks like they have an area for live music to be played. They also have a small 'wine / beer' bar where they served basic alcohol. It was definitely nice that they didn't 'nickel and dime' you when the hour came up. they let us finish our games without charging extra for the overflowing into the next hour. (we finished up 10 minutes after the next hour started) Overall, this was such a fun way to kill some time. Highly recommend this location and look forward to doing this again in the future.

Honey, let's go axe throwing! Sure, why not?! We went on a double date with our good friends and it was such a fun start to the evening! - Parking - Private lot, but small. There's about 10 spaces. - TLC - The owner and the team are amazing! From my first phone call for info, all the way to the end of our axe throwing sesh, they were so helpful and friendly. - How It Works - You can make a reservation online which is a very easy website to navigate. Choose location and tap "Book online now". There is a calendar with time slots. Or, if you're like me and like to talk to human beings who can process my inquisitive mind with random questions, you can call and they'll be happy to assist and also make the reservation for you. Lanes have a max capacity of 6 people. Not sure how they set you up for parties of more than 6. Just ask the nice humans. When you arrive, you have to fill out the waiver. This was quick and easy as there is a QR code at the reception that leads you to the waiver online. Read and sign and once you get that out of the way, you are shown to your lane and an Axe Throwing coach will give you a little briefing on safety and tips of how to throw the axe. I read online that it's also BYOA(xe)! I actually got the axe on the board!!! Aaaaaaaand I got BULLSEYE (once). That's all that counts haha. There is a playbook at every lane so you can actually play games... I was just trying to get it on the board haha. Blade & Bull is located inside Southbound Brewing. If you get thirsty, you can walk over to the Southbound side and grab some beers that you are welcomed to take back to B&B. B&B does NOT sell any beverages or snacks so don't go hungry. Also, Southbound does not have anything non alcoholic. Stay safe, Friends!
