Love this Hall. Been coming here since I was a child. Playing at the playground across the way. Climbing on the Grand oak tree with sprawling branches. Alhambra Hall itself is host to many varied events... From weddings to theater & shag classes. Networking events, family reunions and meeting space. Bring a picnic or just enjoy some zen time by the waterside. They've added some nice paved walkways for those with wheelchairs but still have some green space to walk on as well and enjoy with your friends, family and pets. Whatever your mood, this place can handle it and might just even bring you a smile or two along with good memories for years to come. read more

Alhambra Hall was the perfect venue for our spring wedding! Our ceremony was outdoors and the reception was inside... it was WONDERFUL to not have to make our guest travel from ceremony to reception and the backdrop (the water and marsh) was so on point around sunset. The guests loved it! At one point, more people were outside to catch the sun setting on the water than on the dance floor... Inside the reception area upstairs (they do have an elevator) you have beautiful lights and more than enough space. We had 135 guest and it was perfect for all the tables, food, a sitting area, the dessert table, DJ area, and two bars. We LOVE Alhambra Hall... I can't picture our wedding being anywhere else. Such a beautiful place for a wedding venue. Right on the water with the rustic feel inside. During the day it's a dog park and the dogs go crazy! The oak trees in the corner give it a southern charm. The only thing I don't like about it is the outside. The actual building itself looks super old. But overall great choice. read more

This is a great playground with a gorgeous view. It has an area for big kids and one for smaller kids. There is also a large sand box, lots of swings and plenty of open space for running around or playing catch. And to make it even better there is lots and lots of shade. read more

We held our wedding and reception here and it was awesome. The only downside is that outside chairs are not available from the venue and you have to rent them from an outside vendor. There is a warming kitchen and an elevator, which is nice. The space is open and has a warm, rustic feel, but not like everything needs to be covered in burlap. We had minimal decorations because the venue and outside were gorgeous! read more

I love taking my girls to the Alhambra playground. Though we live in Summerville I am often in Mt. P and try to stop by if possible. The location is so great, right on the water in the heart of Old Town Mt P. We like to visit the coffee shop then head over to the playground. I like that there are multiple play structures graded for different ages/capabilities and there are a few play things you don't typically see at playgrounds. My older daughter loves the sandbox which isn't a favorite of mine since I'm just thinking about the mess she'll track back into the car. But, since we rarely make it out to this playground I indulge her. Someday I'll come play shuffleboard or whatever it is they have off to the side. Years ago I'd considered the Alhambra Hall as a venue for my wedding but ultimately decided on Middleton :) The only downside to this playground is that parking can get a tad difficult sometimes but I've always been able to find a spot. read more

I've been to this venue for numerous events over the years. Everything from weddings to networking events and even a shrimp festival. This old village setting is perfectly set on the water with a beautiful green lawn and manicured grounds. Inside has a rustic yet elegant feel with windows surrounding the entire room. There's a deck off the 2nd floor to enjoy the views and downstairs there's a patio where we had a cocktail hour for a wedding I attended. They even offer a deep discount for Mount Pleasant residents too! read more

What a great place! Recently attended a wedding reception here and couldn't complain a bit. The layout provides plenty of space for folks to mingle and enjoy the dance floor. Sweeping views of the harbor and a beautiful lawn provide something to do when that lame cover starts to blast from the band that you'd rather not hear. Downstairs the restrooms were clean and well kept. Plenty of parking and a beautiful neighborhood rounds out this amazing jewel in Mt. Pleasant. The Hall offers all the charm of the lowcountry while making sure guests have plenty of space and a great spot to party. read more

Wow, this place is spectacular. What a view. All the neighborhood dogs playing in the grass and ample parking. What a great location for a special event. It was the 95th Anniversary of the Kiwanis Club of Charleston. I am a member for over 20+ years and we had a fantastic evening. Glad it started before dusk so we had the great view of the harbor. The entrance is not really easy to figure out where it was but I have been here before. I came in the back. But that is really not an issue. If I were having a special occasion like a wedding or banquet I can't think of anywhere that compares to this for the price. read more

We were married at Alhambra Hall in May 2018, both wedding and reception at the site. The space is beautiful, both inside and out. We were married on the back lawn - our ceremony was super brief, so we brought in a small amount of rental chairs (the chairs provided by the Hall are for indoor use only) and most of our guests stood for the 7 minute ceremony. The views of the harbor provided a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony and photos. After the ceremony, we moved our party indoors for the reception; the space comfortably held our 120ish guests with plenty of space for dancing. The staff at Alhambra were very accommodating and easy to work with, the facility provided everything we needed for a fantastic day and I would highly recommend the venue - especially if you're a Mt P resident and eligible for the resident discount! Truly one of the most affordable and beautiful venues in the area. read more

I really like the idea of my wedding funds going to a community center. It is a beautiful little venue right by the water. That said, they do make it difficult to book. There is no way to mail in a check and contract. With all of that hassle it should be a little more reasonable it price, especially for a Friday wedding. It was $2,500 without the "bridal suite". The "bridal suite" costs extra. What else would they do with the bridal suite anyways? I am a little disenchanted with the fact that they too try to get what they can from you. The word "wedding" makes dollar signs pop up in everyone's eyes. However, the people have been very helpful and organized. I just wish they would lower the prices a bit for a weekday wedding. This is the coolest "unofficial" dog park I've ever been to. Get there around sunset and while your dog is playing, you get to enjoy the view. One minus is if there is no breeze, you're going to have a bunch of bugs. Still worth it though. read more
