Nice setting, but a water slide at a black tie wedding??? That just didn't work for me. Since it is rental, nothing is provided. You bring in your own food, servers, and decorations and everything else that goes along with a wedding reception. Does it have AC? Don't know, we had the windows and doors open to try to catch a breeze to cool off. Acoustics are not conducive to music. Even outside, it was extremely difficult to have a conversation. I am not sure if smoking is allowed or if the attendees just did it anyway, but the cigar smoke was sickening. Lack of ventilation and heat should make this a non-smoking facility. It was "okay" and I had a good time and just did my best to avoid the smoke.

The reception was inside and was stunning. It was beautifully set up, the food was fantastic! I wanted to take home a doggy bag! The service during the wedding was great, they were on point with refilling drinks, clearing the table and keeping the food line moving.

Alhambra Hall itself is host to many varied events... From weddings to theater & shag classes. Networking events, family reunions and meeting space. Bring a picnic or just enjoy some zen time by the waterside. They've added some nice paved walkways for those with wheelchairs but still have some green space to walk on as well and enjoy with your friends, family and pets. I came back to move it and grab my stuff and she said parking wasn't an issue that weekend so I could just pull my car forward a little and leave it for the weekend... VIP spot! The room I was in was great! It was a large suite with a couch and chairs, dining table, wet bar, and then a separate bedroom area. There was a door to a private patio that had our own access gate to the pool deck which was amazing. Speaking of the pool, it was the epitome of relaxation and the best part... adults only. Don't worry, there are a couple pools down the boardwalk where your hellions can swim. I'll take the quiet pool anyday! The staff were very helpful. They had sanitizer and masks right at the front door. The beach is a short walk down the boardwalk. And the room was amazing. I didn't get to try any eats because not everything was open except the place on the beach (which was wildly expensive), but I would love to stay here again.

The event turned out to be great fun and no digits were lost. The host brought out chips and salsa, queso, and guacamole. And vegetable platters as well. Which were all fine. The place has a full bar as well. We then participated in the Duck Pins bowling. A really fun version of real bowling. The gutters got more than their share of errant balls before that was over. The hosts brought out food for everyone. Sliders, chicken wings, butterflied coconut shrimp, and several sides. For dessert, they served chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies, and fudge brownies. Our boss provided each person with a play card to use for playing all the video and pinball games in the house. Overall, it was an enjoyable time and I would recommend the place for anyone who likes these types of games.
