Well when she got back, I was beyond impressed with their work! She had nothing but positive things to say, so I told her I would try them one day... well I just got back from my first visit, I got a full set and pedicure. The staff was kind, Ben (my nail tech) was attentive and his work was honestly the best I've had done in a long time. He did exactly what I asked, paid lots attention to detail, and didn't rush through his work. I am beyond satisfied, they didn't hurt my nail bed or pull too hard on my cuticles. Another plus for me is the massage chairs... they are Amazing!!!! Upon looking at the reviews, I found that many of the negative reviews are a bit older, so I would not pay much attention to them. They are thick and chunky and the shape sucks. I would avoid this place. There are better, more honest salons nearby.

Amy got me started in the bowl and gave me a menu of their services with prices listed clearly, I chose the Deluxe Spa Pedicure for $50, it included scrub, massage, hot rocks, and warm towels. Honestly this pedicure was so relaxing and I highly recommend getting the Deluxe as an extra little treat for less than $20 more than the basic spa pedicure!! Amy had amazing attention to detail and would ask me periodically if I liked the nail shape, or french design etc. She did an amazing job and having tried many salons in Modesto including some chains, I can confidently say this is the best pedicure I've had in a very long time! People don't give attention to detail anymore, but Amy was fantastic and took her time, and still had me out in under an hr! They were upfront in their pricing and in total I paid $72 for the Deluxe Pedicure, Gel polish, French Nail art. Without warning, he started clipping them off and then used an old artificial nail to pry the remaining acrylic from my natural nail. I was looking down at my phone when I suddenly felt intense pain. When I looked up, my natural nail had been cut open and was bleeding. The technician asked if I was scared. I told him, "No, I'm not scared, I'm in pain." I also explained that this was not the proper way to remove acrylic nails. Instead of stopping, he attempted to continue. At that point, I told him not to touch my nails and that they needed to be soaked off properly. As a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner, I understand professional sanitation and safety procedures. The way my nails were being removed was unacceptable and resulted in an injury. Another staff member eventually took over, but what disappointed me most was that no one apologized for hurting me or acknowledged what had happened. Accidents can happen, but professionalism, concern for the client, and accountability matter. Unfortunately, I did not receive any of those things during my visit.

Gel for pedi was $20 more which seemed a bit high. The mani felt more rushed and I got the service Saturday and Friday morning my gel was lifting. Normally, gel lifts from the cuticle, but this lifted and broke from the top. Not even a week! A few days later, they all started lifting and peeling. I've never had gel that lifted and peeled so easily. Usually I have to fight it to come off and thats after 3 weeks!
