High quality well maintained RO water is 25c/ gal & pre-paid water card is only 20c/gal. Alkaline water $1.25/gal. Yummy Thrifty ice cream and milkshakes. Variety of flavor of Hawaiian Shaved Ice. Very clean. The friendly staff is always welcoming customers.

One stop store for everything you need! Crystal clear water, new ice made 24/7 (with the RO filtered water), thrifty ice cream, Hawaiian shaved ice, snacks, candies, drinks, accessories, etc. Customer service is Best in the neighborhood for sure!

Convenient location as they have 24/7 water dispensary. Inside of the store, they sell candy, drinks and Thrifty ice cream. Owner is very friendly.

It looks like the equipment used to filter the water isn't working. I'm convinced I just bought plain old Chandler tap water, ugh.

Not only are their cup cakes beautiful but they are also moist and delicious. The owner came out and gave me and my daughter two free cupcakes while we were waiting for shakes, and made us feel welcome during our whole visit. The prices are more than reasonable. If you're considering coming here I guarantee you won't be disappointed. As an added bonus the owner is also stunning, stop in for some eye candy and a delicious treat!

They were offering free milkshakes to the first 100 participants and we were lucky enough to score one of those gifts! We decided to just take one and share it and decided on the Frozen Hot Chocolate, which is made with Blue Bell chocolate ice cream, hot cocoa mix, chocolate sauce, marshmallow fluff and a "kosher" marshmallow. I'm just not a big sugar fiend so I found the shake to be extremely sweet and gooey...wife loved it! I didn't try the marshmallow but she said it was good and she could tell it was homemade. We decided we would try the store in Gilbert at some point this summer to see what other goodies they offer. Overall, a good treat and thank you for the free goodie! Sorry, there was so much going on at the moment, I didn't take a photo of the actual milkshake!

My local Salt and Straw is the location in Gilbert adjacent to Agritopia in the Epicenter. This place is always busy for a reason- fast and friendly service and delicious ice cream. It's a smaller shop that's mostly a waiting line and the counter, but has a little extra space for their freezer (for take home pints) and swag rack. The employees are always helpful and I never feel rushed when asking for a few samples. Their ice cream uses top quality ingredients and they have a specialized churning process to make it very creamy. The best part are the 'out of the box' ingredients you won't find in other ice cream parlors. These ingredients can augment the base flavor, add a tasty wrinkle or help neutralize a typically dominant flavor. On this trip, I got a scoop of Huckleberry Oat Crisp with Foraged Porcini. It's on their Monthly Menu Series and limited time, along with 4 other unique flavors. It was amazing and worth sampling at a minimum. They also have traditional flavors but with their special take on it...like the Double Fold Vanilla uses a lot more vanilla beans to really exacerbate the flavor. Thanks Salt and Straw for being consistently good and having an amazing staff and amazing product.

Scoop, scoop, hooray! I'm the 400th review for this business on Yelp…read more Since trying Handel's at previous Yelp events, I've had on my radar to try at one of their locations. Especially since my boyfriend loves ice cream. Today we made a lunch date when he was visiting town, complete with ice cream to cool us down on this warm July day in Arizona. We opted to eat in my car with air conditioning, though they have bench seating outside. In cooler months, I'm sure that seating is nice to sit at to enjoy your treat. What We Ordered: - Monkey Business scoop in a dipped waffle bowl: My boyfriend throughly enjoyed and said it was very banana forward; which is a plus for him. I personally hate banana, so he had something for once that I didn't take a girlfriend bite out of. - S'mores scoop in a dipped waffle bowl: Very interesting to have the base be graham cracker, but I really enjoyed. Love the little chocolate bits to add a crunch as you eat, though the mini marshmallows have a weird texture to me. Still a solid scoop, and I'll try other flavors when we return. Definitely looking forward to the location opening on Signal Butte, but glad we didn't wait until that opened to try. Delicious and I'm sure I'll visit the new location opening by my house.

First, the location itself is very small and cramped inside, and there isn't any outdoor seating, which made it difficult to enjoy our ice cream. The biggest disappointment here was the customer service. My friend ordered a milkshake for her two toddlers to share and politely asked if the extra half could be poured into a second cup. The employee had to ask the manager, who immediately said no. My friend explained that other Handel's locations have happily done this before, and even offered to pay for the extra cup. The manager still refused and told her she'd have to purchase two separate milkshakes instead. The request wasn't for extra product--just a second cup for two small children to share. What made the experience worse was the manager's attitude. She came across as rude and dismissive rather than trying to help find a reasonable solution. We understand that every location has its own policies, but customer service goes a long way. Unfortunately, between the cramped space and the poor experience with the manager, we won't be returning to this location.
