I think it's more of a simple flavor. Before I left I also grabbed "the tacolate" to go for another time. It is a cinnamon tasting ice cream in a waffle taco dipped in chocolate. The employee had to ask the manager, who immediately said no. My friend explained that other Handel's locations have happily done this before, and even offered to pay for the extra cup. The manager still refused and told her she'd have to purchase two separate milkshakes instead. The request wasn't for extra product--just a second cup for two small children to share. What made the experience worse was the manager's attitude. She came across as rude and dismissive rather than trying to help find a reasonable solution. We understand that every location has its own policies, but customer service goes a long way. What made it worse was that another family walked in right after us, and they were greeted with smiles and friendly conversation. As we left, we said thank you and were met with glares. I finally chose Gingerbread and Christmas Tree in a Small cup. I think the Small was $6, and it was A LOT of ice cream! (See photo for reference) I devoured the entire thing - it definitely hit the spot and left me feeling so full. The two employees were very kind and patient with my group of 5.
