I thought I would save money by piling our demolition work at the curb for city bulk pick up. Boy, I was wrong. I had to hire guys to move it back to the side of my house. Long story short, we demolished shed and had some mirrored doors. I also had a pile of concrete. None of which the city would take. I sent pics to Busy Bee and they gave me an estimate to haul away. It seemed fair and they were out in 3 days. When they arrived they looked at the pile and no questions asked, they didn't change the price and they started loading in their truck. I asked if they could take the bbq and the old patio furniture and asked how much extra. Could have been better, and worse. Showed up a couple hours late to remove a heavy old desk and sleeper couch. Surprisingly they didn't have a 4 wheel dolly which would have made it easier to move the desk, using the hand truck resulting in damaging one of the door jambs. Finally, cost more to remove desk than quoted. read more

I just had Leo show up all by himself and take care of the junk on the side of the house. It was all old, dusty, dirty, full of spider webs and maybe spiders too, and did I say dusty? He took it all easily, he was pleasant and had a dandy sense of humor. I was not surprised at the price, I paid it and thought was totally fair, for all he had to do in the heat and humidity. I believe I was over charged by 2 loads ($1,300). It was a big job but they only left the home 2 times not 4 once to dump the trash and again after loading recycling and 50+ all wood furniture that I hopefully they donated and not profit off of it. I have cameras that validate only left once not the 2 they said. They also said the charged extra because of weight but there were only a few pieces of furniture. I also believe they did that bases on the car I drive. This clean up had to be done because on my father's passing. How tiresome and boring all these five star reviews must be.. Except, it's really hard to be consistently good. Everything about Busy Bees was spot on - initial communication, scheduling, communication, execution of the clean-up, and payment. We inherited a whole lot of junk the previous owners of our house didn't take with them, we added to the pile with some home improvement projects, and Busy Bees had it all gone in the blink of an eye.
