Rattle off a bunch of instructions or whatnot. I'm like "what's that?" In several appointments, we had to wait 20-30 min to be seen and we arrived there early, mind you. The parking is easy and it's just across the street from the hospital. The rooms that they put you in are small but manageable but you can certainly see some wear and tear (paint peeling off, walls a little dirty/scuffed up). Dr. Ko is professional but he needs to slow down. Glad that he does eye surgery too.

I really appreciated that as I had a difficult year medically. But I had a number of problems with Cascade Vision. 1, they are *constantly* upselling, which I would have thought impossible for a doctor's office, but there you go. Every time I went in, whatever I went in for, there was always a necessary, over the counter product or not-covered-by -insurance procedure pushed on me which (surprise, surprise) they had available at the counter or through a special pharmacy. This gets tiresome. It also erodes trust in whatever advice the doctor is telling me about my condition. 2, I was having trouble adjusting to the glasses I bought there, for longer than the usual amount of time adjusting to a new prescription. I came back to have them checked out, just in case there was an error because everyone makes mistakes occasionally --that's human nature. The opticians got very snarky and overly defensive about that. A patient should be able to have their prescription checked out without questions. 3, I was misdiagnosed with a stye which turned out to be ocular rosacea. I saw 2 different doctors at Cascade Vision over about 3-4 months for this problem, at least a couple times a month, sometimes weekly. It seems extraordinary to me that they didn't recognize an ocular condition, which has the potential of damaging my cornea. The advice I was given (and of course, multiple products to buy!) to treat the "stye" was of course a complete waste of time and money and could have worsened the rosacea. 4. I had a diabetic eye exam and requested that the results be forwarded to my PCP. I had to make multiple requests over 6 months for that to be done, which is ridiculous, considering it could be sent in an email.

They kept sending me messages about doing another eye appointment (takes like 20 minutes) and I told them I no longer had vision insurance with my job. The quote was over $300 not including the contacts or anything. Called around and this money-hungry business (not trying to help people just cash in as much as possible) is charging WAY more for an exam than literally any other Optometrist out there. Not even close. I decided to do an eye exam online and it was $79.99 INCLUDING 6 months of contacts. If you don't have insurance....definitely don't give your business to them. If you do have insurance...don't give your business to them because you know they are just using and abusing the system. Go to Costco or literally ANYWHERE else besides here.

I came for a diagnosis exam, and Doctor advised me to be treated asap, but I want a breakdown of my cost after insurance coverage first. My insurance was not contacted, and a few months later billed me $1,528 for that initial exam. In the bill, there were duplicate charges and unexplained charges for $342.00 and $552.00. I came in with my insurance card and asked billing to bill my insurance and fix the erroneous charges. After 2 years, not hearing anything from the office, I've thought that my insurance paid the bill. Then, come collection letters for the amount $1,156.00 that not paid by my insurance. By this time, I've changed insurance, and my insurance said they will not investigate anything over 2 years due to their state's statute of limitation. Now, I am stuck with the bill and my eye still not treated.

From the minute I stepped through the door at King LASIK I knew this was the place to be. The…read morewaiting room was comfortable with snacks and coffee available while you wait. From there, they brought us, my husband came with as my driver, to recheck my eyes. We then went into a room where my eyesight was checked again by a doctor and finally by Dr. King who did my surgery. He was very personable and made me feel like I was an actual person not just a number. They offered a sedative but I declined and we then went to the surgery area. While I waited my turn, I relaxed in a massage chair which was a very nice touch. Once in the OR, the procedure took maybe 10 minutes and they talked me through the entire process. They asked me questions about myself which helped take my mind off of everything going on. After a quick recheck to make sure everything went well, I was on my way with my instructions, new night goggles and a bag of coffee. It was also a great comfort that, during the entire process, my eyes were checked several times by different doctors to make sure everything was correct. That night, I got a text from Dr. King checking in and I was very impressed by that. I never expected that! I was back the next morning for a recheck and was in and out in 20 minutes. There is a lot to commend about King LASIK but the top two things are the people and the facility. I don't think I could have asked for nicer and more confident staff, from the front desk gal to the doctors. The facility was also super clean! Very modern and comfortable as well. Then I was informed that if I wanted the ENHANCED lens which would eliminate the need for glasses, my OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE WOULD BE $5400.00 I went with the ENHANCED LENS REPLACEMENT. I paid the $5400.00 The lenses were not correct and they had to replace them AGAIN. I STILL NEED GLASSES and My PHERIFIAL vision in my left eye is BLURRED !!! On top of all that, I have received a bill for $401.81 (after I was told in the begining my out of pocket expense would be the $5400.00 which I paid) ! I am not happy with Northwest Eye Surgeons and I would HIGHLY recommend that you research other providers.
