Engine no oil or near no oil
 On side of road

New 2022 Sonata Oil changed June 8, 2022 193 mile after oil change my check engine light came on and was stuck on side of road for a few hours waiting on tow truck. Car was taken back to dealer I was told it was fine. Drove it after total lack in acceleration, engine is not fine. I knew it was not going to be ok and was going to trade it in on a different hyundai. In the process the manager asked the service manager if the car was "ok to take as a trade, or was it going to need to go to auction " This just confirmed that they new there was engine issue

Anyhow, to my dismay the rear seatbelts would not work. The retractor was locked. I was only two miles from John Sisson and on a time crunch, I drove straight to the service entrance and asked for help. The first man came out (I didn't get his name) and without hesitation, tried to help. When he knew he couldn't fix them, he sent out another tech. Enter Sean. If I owned a Nissan, and I had car trouble, I would personally ask for Sean. He was polite and diligent. Not to mention, even though he was young, I think he had a bit of the old school 'everything can be fixed' approach. When he thought the belts were broken, he still didn't give up. His perseverance paid off and I know it had to hurt his hand squeezing it into the plastic cover. I was so grateful for Sean and for fixing both those seatbelts. And you want to know what also touched me positively. Not one tech told me to sign in, they were eager to help and to me, that spells top notch service all the way around. Thank you John Sisson Service department, I will tell people about you.

Didn't even make it home and had warning lights come on saying their is a brake issue and do not drive it. Had it towed to our local Mazda dealership because we obviously could not drive it back to PA. Been sitting at our local dealership for over a week with no end in sight. Bud Baer refused to take the car back, and refused to even compensate us for our issues. Jen the sales manager is a complete joke and the manager Greg is even a bigger clown. They got our money and gave us a big "f#@k you". Don't believe their ads stating how they are a family dealership and take care of their customers. They don't care about anything but getting the sale. Avoid this dealership and any other ones they own. Their poor reviews speak for themselves.

After contacting service, the parts department ordered a part. I noticed it didn't look like the one in my car, so it turned out the reservoir for a 4 cylinder 2.5L was discontinued. This is in a 2019 Buick Lacrosse, only 6 years old! Budd Baer wanted $300 for a $30 used part and an additional $180 to install (it's a few minute job). I was able to find one myself and had another garage install. So I paid a total of $60 for part and installation versus $480 plus, from the dealership I bought the car from. Please be aware if you have this same car, this part is not available from GM or any aftermarket company. You have to find a used one or basically junk your car. I couldn't afford to do that. Thanks Budd Baer!

Realized after we bought it that it sat noticeably higher than other Tahoes. Turns out that it had an aftermarket lift installed. It never should have been sold as Certified with any aftermarket modifications. They removed the lift but the vehicle has had shudder and vibration intermittently since we got it. Several trips to their service department and they "can't reproduce the problem " and claim there is no problem with the vehicle. This is our fifth Chevy/GMC full size SUV and I have driven several other new vehicles. I know what is normal and abnormal vehicle behavior. Also, they told us that two maintenance visits were included. When we took the vehicle for the prescribed maintenance, only the oil change and tire rotation was covered. They charged $60 for a cabin filter that was part of the manufacturer maintenance schedule. DON'T BUY FROM WASHINGTON CHEVROLET.

They charge an outrageous amount for a hold on the ev charger off your card which is $50 but then the machine don't work the first 3 times and it still takes $50 kevery time you swipe that card oh and it won't be back on for 48hrs. This place is a ripoff, any other chargers take maybe $25 and they put it right back if it isn't that much to charge. They don't hold it for days and days. And to take a $50 hold every time it's swiped because the machine is messed up is just wrong. If it wasn't charging why did they take $150 and I get told oh it will take 24-48hrs to go back on and that's wrong because it took over a week last time this happened and the reason I haven't been back till now. This place sucks, I won't be using these ever again and I sure as heck wouldn't buy a car here if this is the kind of carp they pull with people just using the ev chargers. I guess I won't be buying food the next 24-48hrs because Washington ford is holding $150 of mine for a charge that cost $14. I will be calling the bank and seeing if this would be fraud charges because that is just insane. If you need an EV charger don't bother giving them a dime there is ones right up the road at Hyundai that don't even take a hold off your card let alone have it mess up so they can take $150 and keep it collecting interest for days and days and days. Imagine how much they'd rip you off if you bought a car here.

A sales associate told me he would be right with me, but then proceeded to help two other parties before me. I was not in a rush, but I felt ignored as a customer who was ready to purchase a vehicle that day. I could see other associates had no customers , but yet no one else could assist me After waiting for an hour, the associate told me he could not help me and had another representative, Kirk, assist with the test drive. Kirk seemed confused and bothered by the situation, so I had to explain my goals to him. I was only able to test drive one vehicle and was told I could just look at the other parked next to it, which did not help me make my decision. When I asked Kirk for the clear-cut price of the 2026 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD, he insisted on appraising my current vehicle. Although I explained that I was undecided on a trade-in and simply wanted the vehicle price, he became pushy and demanding and said rudely what difference does it make. My trade-in was appraised anyway, which I had specifically asked not to be done. Ultimately, I felt dismissed and talked down to. Kirk handed me a pricing sheet that was over $5,000 higher than other dealerships, and there was no further attempt to communicate with me or show me the other available inventory. I thanked him, shook his hand, and left. The following morning, I visited a different Honda dealership and purchased the exact vehicle I wanted, with additional features, for over $7,000 less.

Later on, I was rear ended and the local body shop sent my car to Budd Baer for a lift gate control module and backup camera replacement. My vehicle was there for 5 months waiting for the module on back order. I can understand this. What is interesting is the body shop couldn't get ahold of the service department or get a call back. When they finally picked up the phone, it turns out the part was at the shop and my vehicle was at the shop, but the part was NOT in my vehicle at the shop. They forgot the car was in their lot until I called them. Put the part in and went to pick up my car, but they didn't replace the backup camera and blamed the body shop. Regardless of what actually happened between the body shop and service department (because these groups seem to always blame each other), the vehicle was there for 6 months and was never put into reverse? They had to move the vehicle to pull it into the shop and determine it needed the lift gate module. My main request was for the camera to be fixed in the first place. The manager, Brandon, did well by me and got me into a loaner car while they took an additional week to put in the camera. I want to give a fair review, so this is based on pricing (when purchasing a vehicle), time, quality, communication, and experience.
