Great laundromat. Always clean and the employees are very helpful/nice. Plenty of washers and dryers, but it can get crowded here, especially on Sundays. Overall, I would recommend. read more

This place is the Four Seasons of Laundromats. They have big ass Giant flat screen HDTV's, coffee service, clean restrooms, clean floors, clean machines, clean everything except our soiled clothes we bring in. Not only that but they use these debit type cards to use for machines. No more trying to find Quarters or hoping your dollar bill is crisp enough to feed into a machine. I approve of this place. read more

This is by far the cleanest laundromat I have ever been too. The attendant was very friendly. I LOVE the huge capacity washers (up to 8 regular loads) and large dryers. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is there seemed to be a lot of pet hair in one of the washers and I'm just wondering how often they get cleaned? I still did my wash in that washer though, as I had about 25 loads to do. If I ever have my washer go out on me again (better not) I will be back here. read more

Watch how you put your card in!!! You bring to their attention and it is your fault! Be sure you hold your mouth and hand and....the card just right so you do not have to pay 2x for a $3.50 machine! read more

It was clean and spacious. The machines are great. Will return if my washer breaks again (god forbid)

I am moving to Georgetown and we don't have our washer and dryer yet. Combine that with a potty training toddler and you can see why I need to do laundry ASAP! The facility is clean and the attendant was awesome. He helped me load the wash card with money, showed me which machines would be the best for my needs and held the door for me when I was trying to get my laundry and 2 year old in the door. They have free wifi and television. My clothes came out super clean and dry. I'm so happy that this place is here! read more

I have been using this laundromat for several years. all that time I have been very satisfied with the machines and the cleanliness of the place. One day I was under time pressure and decided to use their wash and fold service. everything seemed fine the first time so I decided to use their service again. This time I was deeply disappointed. In my laundery this time were 2 sets of sheets. When I got them home I found that a fitted sheet was missing. I promptly contacted washatopia to find out if the sheet was still there. The lady I talked to was very rude and stated that there was no sheets left over and nothing in the office. She was very adamant that all jobs are washed separately and if I did not received my missing sheet I must have it at home. I stated that I live in a travel trailer and there is no space for it to go missing. I have searched my home thoroughly and can state that that sheet is not here. That was an expensive set of sheets now ruined. That is the last time I will use the wash and fold service and will be searching for another laundromat. read more

Been using the Georgetown facility for more than 2 years now, and they are great. The employees are very nice and helpful, the place is always clean and well kept. I do my laundry, eat a snack and finish my work on my laptop without being disturbed, now that's a great feeling. read more

Went this morning, and will go back again when we need to wash comforters, etc. All sizes of washers, good availability of every machine and dryers too. Comfortable seating and multiple tvs to keep you entertained. Attendant made the rounds several times while we were there. Overall, I recommend it! read more

This location in Georgetown is clean, but the prices seem to have gone up since the last time we were home. We travel for work and it's been almost a year since we were here last. We don't remember the drying times being $1 for first 15min then $0.25 for each additional 5 minutes. Plus, this time when I wanted to add extra time to my dryers it automatically took $1 instead of just letting me choose if I really needed 20 more minutes!! Also, it use to stay nice and cool in here even with almost every dryer running and now it's like they don't want to use the ac or at least set the fans higher to try to cool it off inside! They have changed the cards you use for the machines, so now the system they have they will not refund any extra money y'all might still have on your card. So, make sure you don't over estimate because they're not going to give you any of the cash back! I hate that because you have a card with even a few cents on it and you're SOL. The other location will let you get back whatever is on your card when you turn it back in. read more

I have not used a laundromat since college, which was 20+ yrs ago and just needed a place to wash king-sized comforters and blankets. I was amazed at this place!! It is immaculate - both premises and equipment and staffed by a helpful young lady as well as the owner. I didn't realize that all the equipment ran on their "credit" type cards, but it was super easy. The attendant approached me as she could probably tell that I wasn't familiar with the routine and quickly gave me the info I needed to complete the task. They also have a giant sign displayed above the service center area that will instruct the customers step-by-step as to how to proceed. Super easy, super modern equipment, wireless internet, comfortable place to hang out while your laundry spins. I had no idea that this is what the modern laundromat has evolved into. Nice job Washatopia Georgetown! read more

My washer broke at home so I selected washtopia because it had Wi-Fi. When I arrived with two of my children looking forward to using the internet while we waited for our clothes to be washed, I discovered that I could only connect to their Wi-Fi but couldn't actually use the internet and the person on staff could not help. Next time I'll go somewhere where the Wi-Fi actually works. read more

I have not been to a laundry mat in years and to be perfectly honest, I was dreading it like a hot Texas summer day. I can assure you that this place was nothing but exceptional from the moment that we walked in lugging loads and loads of laundry (Our machine broke and we have a family of four. Insert big sigh here.). The attendant was professional, friendly, proficient and eager to help us. The entire space was spic and span and had state of the art equipment, tvs and WiFi. Nothing like I recall my old laundry mat days and by far leaps and bounds over their competitors in the area. I would highly recommend this place of business! read more

This is the nicest Laundromat in Georgetown. I do have to say it has fallen down some since opening. The people working there no longer help you with the door as they did in the beginning. Also there are a couple of employees I have watched for up to 2 hours that did absolutely nothing but sit on a stool behind the counter. I want that job if that is all you have to do. read more

Pretty decent food and service was good liked the "green sauce " I had the nachos and my son had the cheese quesadilla

This is the BEST laundromat, ever! I just went to wash & dry our king-size comforter and a cushion for a papa-san chair. I'd been there before for the same things and loved everything about it then. It's still fabulous! Great selection of different size washers - up to 8X bigger than a regular one. Tons of machines but quiet even with so many of them in use. Plus, virtually every one was in working order. Super clean! Someone was always sweeping up. You need to get a card to use in the machines but can get back any money you don't spend. The gals were very nice and helpful in advising about what size washers to use and for how long I should dry my items and at what temperature. They really contributed to a pleasant atmosphere. Noticed HDTVs but didn't watch. And...free coffee! Overall, a great laundry experience. :) I will certainly be back! read more

This is a very clean very modern laundry facility. The machines are good and I have had no issues with the quality of the facility. The only thing I don't like about it is the machines use those cards instead of quarters, which is frustrating when you show up with a bagful of quarters and the machine that dispenses cards doesn't even take quarters. The staff has been OK, on my first visit they just stood around and didn't offer to help with my obvious frustration about their machines not taking quarters and my attempts to solve the mystery of how their card machine operates. On the second visit the older lady was more helpful than the younger attendant from the previous visit but she was hesitant to make change for a $100 which was of course all I had on me at the moment. I managed to get it done by giving her quarters to put on the card but I still felt frustrated with their policies on the second visit thus the 4 stars instead of 5. read more

My first visit there the manager aggressively told me to get off the table I was sitting on that nobody was using while I was watching tv and waiting for my washer to stop. I had to ask her if she even worked there as she had no uniform or name tag. On my second visit there, I only needed to transfer 3 loads of laundry about 15 feet to the dryer but everyone was hogging up the carts by leaving personal items/detergent etc. in them. Unfortunately that was not one of their strict rules so people could claim carts as theirs the entire duration of their stay using them or not. The tiny parking lot is a joke so get there early for first dibs on everything you can. Oh yeah and in case they don't bother to turn the tv on, you can always study the huge billboard of rules and regulations they have posted on the wall. Rules ,rules, rules, better obey!!! Who knows what I will encounter on my third trip. I guess I just like self abuse? read more
