Don't expect to get a hot wash here. The hot wash water is at best luke warm. I can live with that, if they didn't charge an extra 15 cents for something they don't deliver. I complained to the staff and she checked it and said it was operating correctly. That's as hot as it gets. I'm sure most people don't check the water temperature once they start the machine. I feel like this is fraudulent advertising at best. Will be searching for another laundry. The manager did reach out to me after seeing this review and offered me a refund. Thanks, but not worth my time and effort to come buy and collect the extra 15 cents I was changed for a hot wash. It's not about the money. I'm just tired of businesses advertising one thing and delivering another without the customers knowledge. Most laundries don't charge for hot water. I prefer the days when you were charged one price and and not charged extra for every little thing. Ok, so I'm an old grump just venting my frustrations. Take it for what it's worth. On the positive side the laundry is well maintained and has attentive staff. And that I don't mind paying extra for. read more

This is a good laundromat. Uses a card system so you have to plan ahead as far as budgeting. Wash was about $5 in a double loader and took less than 30 minutes. 30 minutes in the dryer was enough and cost less than $2. Clean, lots of machines, parking, and attendants. They also have a wash and fold service. I'll be back! read more

i did not want to abuse my washer, so i was in search of large capacity washers/dryers for 8 medium size throw rugs. i found Washatopia online and since it is the only laundromat in Gtown, i decided to give it a try.... the polite, most helpful attendant assisted me in showing me the way to use my CC on the washer... NO MORE QUARTERS... Having said that, it is a bit costly...but the place is spotless, no brats running around and did i mention NO QUARTERS! I work 2 jobs, just moved into a new house and don't have a washer and dryer yet. So I am way to busy to go to the laundry mat.. I had 2 baskets of clothes that was picked up from washatopia and that was the WORST decision. For 1 they did not tell me how much it was until they dropped it off. not just that... I weighed my clothes and it was 52.2 pounds 10 pounds less then what they told us... & when I called to tell them she said "there is nothing I can do about that and we are charging your card for that amount" I will NEVER come here again and I will definitely let everyone I know not to come here. Had to go to another spot around the holidays to realize just why this is the laundromat i choose every week. Always kept clean, carts are spacious and several available most of the time, attendants always seem to help folks w the door when they are carrying their baskets and such, and TV is on at a decent volume and programming (most places have loud obnoxious music on). read more

I am not a regular user of laundromats, but I've used them all over the country. This has to be the cleanest laundromat I have ever been in. Very clean, very bright, very friendly and helpful staff. Wasn't really looking forward to having to do laundry on my vacation, these guys made it not suck as bad as it could have. Very clean. It was easy to connect to the Wifi, and easy to figure out how to use the machines. I highly recommend.

This is a great laundry but they do not enforce a mask mandate. The employee wasn't wearing one and some customers were not wearing masks either. When I asked the employee if they actually enforced the mask mandates that are posted all over he walked away and a customer followed me out to my car yelling obscenities. I live close and use this place frequently but I'm thinking now is the time to just buy my own washer and dryer. read more

I never thought I'd be writing a review about a laundromat, but here I am! I don't spend much time in laundromats, but I have been at them around the country. This is by far, the nicest, cleanest and easiest to use laundromat I've ever been in. The young lady that is staffing the place right now now has spent the whole time I've been here individually cleaning the machines, dusting and disinfecting all the chairs, tables and counter tops. I am really impressed. The machines are reasonably priced and use debit or credit card only, no cash. If you're in the area and need to wash your clothes, this is definitely the place to come. read more

I just dont get who would give this place a 1 star, first off its a laundry mat!!!! The fact this place is as fancy as it is deserves 5 stars just on apperance alone! Second I went the first week this placed opened met the owner who showed me around and he also offered to show me how to use the machines but I declined because anyone with half a brain can figure it out, third the card idea is great oh and the cards are FREE by the way, no longer do I have to fiddle with a dumptruck amount of coins. Second thier is 2 massive flatscreens and the place is air conditioned! Name one other place in georgetown that has that? NONE. Yea the place is a lil higher then some of the other laundrymats in town but would you rather go sweat your bum off at that slumy one by the wag a bag? I didnt think so. Oh and free wifi! I had 14 loads to do and I didn't want to spend my whole day off doing laundry. I came to yelp for a local laundromat and found this place. Website looks legit, so I go. I come in and I'm immediately greeted by Terry, the attendant at the front. I've actually never been to a laundromat so I was confused about how everything worked. This lady was not only welcoming to me when I came in; she gave a whole tour of the place. She helped me work these machines I'm unfamiliar with, and constantly checked on me to make sure I was ok. What a great person and place to come to. On top of the great customer service you get free Wifi, a loaded card to rid yourself of the coin management headache, snack machines, clean restrooms, flat screen tv's and washing machines that finish your loads in about 25 mins. I did all 14 of my loads at THE SAME TIME! You can't lose here. Bring all the clothes you got. They'll get you taken care of. 5/5. read more

This place is pure genius! The price for each machine updates on the red read out over where you put your payment card based on the options you choose. They have machines that can handle one load on up to as many as 8. You use a free Washatopia payment card which you can reload with cash or a credit/debit card. You use the cards with the washers, the dryers and the vending machines. The vending machines sell snacks, drinks and anything you might need to do laundry but forgot at home. For fairly reasonable prices. (Although there's a Citgo with a minimart across the street if you want to comparison shop without getting in your car.). The whole place is clean and well kept by the staff, who are very nice and helpful. There are TVs hanging on the walls in various places and a little play area in the corner for kids. The parking lot looks a bit small, but I've never had trouble getting a spot even on days when it seemed like there were a lot of people there. Did I mention the free Wifi? My apartment complex has its own laundry facility... I still come here. read more

Very nice and roomy facility with an extremely friendly and helpful attendant lady who helped me decide which size washers to go with according to what I had brought in to wash. She then introduced me to the coinless wash-card system that you can use time and time again. It saves me from having to sift through my loose change and load my pockets with quarters beforehand. Not only do you get a FREE card to load your money on, you get FREE wifi and are in an air conditioned facility. This is the best laundromat around! So we had the ickies hit our house, so I stripped the bed and got my comforter and pillows over to their facility. They washed and dried my laundry, folded it up and wrapped up my stuff in a plastic bag, texted me to let me know it was ready! It was amazing!!! I'm so spoiled, I'm going to try to convince my husband to bring our clothes there all the time!!! I've been here about 5 times while we're renovating our house and don't have our washer/dryer hookups yet.... their facilities are nice, but their internet NEVER works. Ever. And the employees just shrug it off and say sorry. Not a big deal if they didn't advertise the fact that they have free wifi all over the place, but that's one of their big selling points. For those of us who need to work while doing laundry, it gets really frustrating. So, make the internet consistently work, and this place would get 5 stars. read more

This place is the Four Seasons of Laundromats. They have big ass Giant flat screen HDTV's, coffee service, clean restrooms, clean floors, clean machines, clean everything except our soiled clothes we bring in. Not only that but they use these debit type cards to use for machines. No more trying to find Quarters or hoping your dollar bill is crisp enough to feed into a machine. I have been using this laundromat for several years. all that time I have been very satisfied with the machines and the cleanliness of the place. One day I was under time pressure and decided to use their wash and fold service. everything seemed fine the first time so I decided to use their service again. This time I was deeply disappointed. In my laundery this time were 2 sets of sheets. When I got them home I found that a fitted sheet was missing. I promptly contacted washatopia to find out if the sheet was still there. The lady I talked to was very rude and stated that there was no sheets left over and nothing in the office. She was very adamant that all jobs are washed separately and if I did not received my missing sheet I must have it at home. I stated that I live in a travel trailer and there is no space for it to go missing. I have searched my home thoroughly and can state that that sheet is not here. That was an expensive set of sheets now ruined. That is the last time I will use the wash and fold service and will be searching for another laundromat. read more

This is by far the cleanest laundromat I have ever been too. The attendant was very friendly. I LOVE the huge capacity washers (up to 8 regular loads) and large dryers. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is there seemed to be a lot of pet hair in one of the washers and I'm just wondering how often they get cleaned? I still did my wash in that washer though, as I had about 25 loads to do. If I ever have my washer go out on me again (better not) I will be back here. read more
