Plus, registering your laundry card protects you in the event of a loss. You will be able to retain your balance on a new card. ***A BIG THANK YOU to the gentleman employee at the 4th plain location who told me all this yesterday (6/7) when I was doing laundry. I accidentally left my laundry card on top of a machine and he held it for me until I came back to switch my clothes over. He showed me how to register my card on the kiosk. 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. Lots of different size washers huge dryers. Place has never been dirty when I was there and haven't ran into anyone that was confrontational or anything. People complaining about the bathrooms being locked are probably the reason why they are locked. Great place if you need to get laundry done for a decent price. read more

I don't understand all the rotten customer service at laundromats in Vancouver. This place says it's open till 10pm and the lettering on the door says no new loads after 8:45pm. I walked in just before 8:30, set down my basket, and walked 15 feet back to my car for the other one. Couldn't get back in. They locked the door! I had to knock. Employee points to a smaller sign stuck 6 feet away on the glass that says no new loads after 8:30! It was literally 8:31 and she wouldn't let me load the machine. I spend $200 a week on laundry service here for 3 house holds untill while I took stuff to my truck someone helped them selves to my load of laundry and of course nothing will happen Christy the girl working says nothing will happen either, but she will wash my clothes for free next time, how when someone took them? Traveling for work and this is one of the cleanest laundromats I've been to. $4.25 for a 15 min quick wash $0.25 for every 5 min on the dryer. A little expensive but I appreciated the helpful staff and cleanliness of the building and machines. read more

As far as laundromats go, this one is at the top. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful. I really appreciate having someone on site to answer questions if needed. Often see them cleaning too, which is always a plus. Pricing is a little high, but I appreciate being able to use my debit card instead of quarters, without any additional charge. If you have a ton of laundry to do, I recommend this place. There are a large number of washers and dryers, including up to 8 load capacity. read more

Went here for the first time and was excited based on the look of things from the outside. I can't remember if they don't take change, or if the change slots weren't working. But you can also use a debit card, or buy one of their money cards. HOWEVER these machines are very difficult to figure out. It kept telling me to swipe or slide the card and then select the cycle, which I did...but then it would give me an error message. I tried several machines before asking for help. Also, it's almost $10 for one wash. Place was fairly dirty also. read more

The girls who work here and very kind and helpful and the owners are great. Everything this clean and working. I've been here 3 times now since my washer broke and it's been a life saver! read more

The facilities are nice (best I've experienced in Vancouver), my clothes always come out fine and the attendant is super nice and very helpful. BUTTTT why am I paying almost $20 a week to wash my clothes? The most I've paid anywhere else (for both wash and dry) was around $7 before I came here. I don't understand why it is so expensive, $3.75 for a "quick wash" in a washing machine that can probably fit three shirts into it. Normal sized machines are around $6-$7 for a wash and often times I have to use 2 of them. It just doesn't make sense to me, we obviously go to laundromats because we aren't in a position to own a washer and dryer ourselves, so tell me, how is it sustainable to be spending ~$20 a week to wash clothes? I think WashWorld is on track in a lot of ways, but they are WAY off when assessing who their customers are. As soon as another (cheaper) laundromat opens up with machines similar to WashWorlds, they are going to lose the majority of their customers. read more

I have made the most wonderful discovery of all time: the Laundromat! I needed to wash my linen comforter (tip of the day- don't buy a linen comforter if your husband allows your evershedding mastiff to sleep on the bed) and needed a commercial washer for the job. Googled laundry and found this gem. WASH WORLD (naturally). I packed up all the sheets blankets comforters and tablecloths I could find and brought them. This place is nothing like my memories of sad peach melamine chairshalf busted machines with melted crayons in them and scrounging around for quarters. Wash world is clean, high end, efficient, and well run. I was loaded in 5 minutes, getting high on the scent of Tide and Downey and have seen dorm rooms smaller than these dryers. It's unreal. I NEED to have one of these washers and dryers (Electrolux). I may need an addition to make it happen. And a rewiring of the house. Wash done in 20 minutes. Dryer in under 30 on medium heat. Why didn't I bring more laundry with me? Free WiFi too. Do I sound like I'm losing my mind???? One of the owners was there "at your service" to help answer questions, and told me they just opened another store in Hazel Dell. These guys know what they're doing. Very clean and has a staff member available should you need one. Everything seems pretty new and well taken care of. I found it to be quite a bit pricier than most of the other laundromats in the area ($3.50 for the smallest load vs $2 right up the street). The washers also don't give you a water option (hot, warm, cold) and charge you more if you want heavy duty or an extra rinse. It's great that they take debit cards and also take quarters. There is a mention of a loyalty card on the machines but no signage or information on what it is all about so unless you want to talk to the staff member, you aren't all that incentivized to get one. Dryers are huge and fast. They also offer a drop off laundry service which might be helpful to some. read more

I love this place this is the only laundry that I would go since 2014..The only thing that I don't get is people are hanging around inside folding their clothes which the signs are all over the wall specifically noted that no folding and to wait outside!! Thank goodness they cleaned this place up with a remodel! I'm not sure about the bathroom situation now, but before you had to email them and wait for them to send you a code which wasn't an immediate response. Love that they take debit cards. The washers are a little spendy but very efficient and do a good job at spinning out the water. The dryers work very, very well and doesn't require much time at all and are cheap. The reason I'm giving this place one star is because the last load time on their door says 8:45pm and yet the staff arbitrarily turns people away if they don't feel like working. I've seen someone turned away at 8:20 because the woman working said she didn't feel good and wanted to go home early. I have had to convince them to let me in at 8:30 twice before even though the last load is supposed to be at 8:45. Others times they had no problem with me coming in at 8:30. I am always out of there before closing time too. The last straw was tonight when the woman working decided not to let me in at 8:30pm. She claims it's her manager's new policy which I don't believe because there is no new sign (they've put up a temporary sign before when they changed their hours, which is what they need to do if they have new hours). I also don't believe her because when I asked for her manager's name she changed the subject. This place is incredibly unprofessional and it inconveniences their customers by turning them away after they've already gathered all of their laundry and driven out there. I hate doing laundry but since I can't just walk around naked this is a great place to do it. It's always clean, even the bathroom. The staff is friendly and helpful too. This is a great place. The user who complained about the cost (and I would have too) didn't realize you have to set the amount based on your preferences. The machines are a bit confusing but the attendant is super friendly and very happy to show you how to set the machines. I have a washer and dryer at home but went here when my washer broke down, and continue to go for oversized items. I can fit three loads of regular clothes in one of their oversized machines. I noticed someone mentioned the bathroom, it is locked but they give you a code, I've never had any issues. read more
