I called to ask what they charge to dry clean a twin sized down comforter. I was told $33. I brought the comforter in. They charge upfront to clean comforters. I paid $33+tax. When I came in with my receipt the man at the counter told me I owed $5 more. I told him I paid what I was quoted. We argued. I was livid but paid the extra charge. I told him to take my phone number out of their computer because I only deal with honest businesses. read more

READ BEFORE YOU GO!! I recently moved to the area and wears suits to work everyday. it critical that my suits are always clean and well ironed. I took two suits to have dry cleaned and while the pants were ok, the jackets were terrible. At first I thought they missed something and took the jackets back and when I went to collect them, the fellow behind the counter was rude and definitely needs to work on his customer service skills. They ruined two suits for me and completely denied responsibility. This is THE Worst cleaning service and customer service I have ever encountered. I just got doubled charged at this cleaners. My fault for not keeping my receipt. I paid $20 in cash plus some change for a label they were to sew into our grandson's jacket. When I went to pick up the jacket today, the owner told me I had not paid and charged me another $17.00. So, in essence, we paid $38 to have a label sewn into a jacket. Wow!! I will never lose a receipt from this place again, in fact I'll never use this place again. Be ware. The owner told me I was wrong - argued with me, etc. Very poor customer service. read more

The guy that runs the show who is likely the owner needs to take a course on customer service. Rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. When I tried to pick up my clothes, I noted a stain on my shirt. When I pointed it out to him, he started screaming at me and blaming me for the stain. My jaw dropped. I have never encountered a business owner who would yell at his customers. If I bring a dirty item to cleaners, I expect to pick up a clean item, without any stains. What's the point of cleaners if items are returned with stains?? I had them repair the cuffs on a pair of dress pants. They were "supposedly" repaired and paid for. After wearing them a few times the cuffs began to unravel and drop again. I took the pants back into them today. They denied doing the work and said the pants were done horribly and it couldnt be their work. I had them look the service on their computer and they acknowledged the service was purchased and paid for. They still refused to accept responsibility and denied the work was theirs . Basically calling me a liar. Which I am not. I only have needed to take any pants back for repair once and I chose them as their business is next to my chiropractor and they offered alterations, not just cleaning. The mgr made no effort to offer a fair resolution to the situation. The work was either done so poorly they didnt recognize their own work, or the work was NEVER performed originally, the pants merely cleaned and pressed but the money paid for the alternations never performed. I did talk to both the lady behind the counter and the manager/owner. read more

Clothes look nice, but there is a major language barrier with the gentleman that does the desk, or at least there appears to be. I asked for the stays in the collars of our shirts be replaced because they took them all out, said they would, and then didn't. When I asked him to put them back in at pick up, he said they don't do that. Nice. AFTER you said you would. Had several similar issues over the last few years with repairs and alterations. I'm done. On a recent visit, I brought in several items. When I picked up, they tried to give me a dress that didn't belong to me. When I got home and upon packing for a business trip, I realized that my most favorite blazer didn't make it home with me. When I contacted the owner to find the blazer he told me to check my closets (I already did before contacting them), that I must have taken it to another cleaners (I've only gone here for years), and finally said I was out of luck. Will the person that they gave my beloved, expensive white blazer size 2, please take good care of it for me? I won't be back! Buyer beware, take only clothes you don't care about. Wow. You really have to be "special" to make a bimonthly dry-cleaning visit extremely unpleasant, but Hi-Tech Cleaners manages to do it. After eight months of tolerating them, I'm done. It's really the lady at the counter who I've had enough of. Yesterday I went in and dropped off about 30 items of clothing. As usual, the lady behind the counter did not greet me, did not make eye contact, and in an unpleasant tone asked only for my phone number. It's actually difficult to describe her complete lack of friendliness or service skills. Having been a regular customer for months, and in a hurry, I tried to be nice and said "I'll let you count these, I trust you." Her immediate response was, "well I have to count them anyway," instead of saying thanks. So, she made me stand there as she SLOWLY counted each item with her unoccupied coworker watching in the background with a slightly amused smile. Then she proceeded to quiz me-- in a very unpleasant tone, as usual, mind you-- on why my pants were so wrinkly. Because they need dry cleaning? She was particularly interested in delaying me to ask numerous questions on what had happened to some wool pants my wife had inadvertently washed. I mean, if you can't fix them, fine, but I don't need 20 questions from a rude dry cleaning front desk person. By the way, they don't even pretend to care about setting aside your collar stays or anything like that. But really, the point is, the service is completely intolerable. I will be driving across town if need be in the future and though this may sound mean, I sincerely hope this business fails and one which cares about their customers sprouts up in its place. Hopefully they won't destroy my clothing in retaliation for this review, but honestly I'm not sure I'd be surprised, so we'll see. read more

I will never use this cleaner again! I took my leather jacket in for cleaning and Hi Tech cleaners sent my jacket out to be cleaned. It came back completely ruined. The leather was completely stripped of its color and waxed coating. Hi Tech would not assume any responsibility for this disaster nor would they write a statement indicating the original condition of the jacket vs. the condition in which it was returned. After losing a significant amount of weight I wanted to have my slacks altered. When the attendant was pinning the pants I asked her how much this would cost. She said that if I had the waist altered alone it would be $18.00. If I had them take in the sides it would be $23.00. I told her I wanted only the waist. When I went back to pick them up I was charged $23.00 for each. When I objected I was told that the $18.00 was for men's slacks and they had cut the waist and so it was more. When I said that was not what you told me she just showed me her price list and said that is what they charge. I paid. I will not go back. This is bait and switch at it's worst. read more

At our cleaners, the pant waist-in for men is $18 and for women is $23, and this price difference is due to the different style and methods for alteration. From reading your review, we think that you are talking about "tapering," and this type of alteration is not $23 but more expensive. Our main cashier and you have seemed to have some misunderstanding in the prices. In the computer and on your receipt, it states your total cost as $23 plus tax; hence, we did not increase the price without your permission when you picked up your pants.
