Multiple dryers simply do not work. I think that is really all that needs to be said.

It was a busy place, very convenient to go. You got ripped off a lot you would leave a note saying that the machine ate your money but no one would ever call you back that happened many times so I quit going there the guy that owns it can be a jerk I've had encounters with him before other than that the laundromat was a fine place to go do your laundry when the machines worked it was great if you could put up with the sewer smell that continued to come up that they could never get fixed it was a bad odor coming from the sewer read more

I went to this location to wash about 6 loads of laundry. I put a 20 in the machine to the right where it clearly indicates that it takes 20s. Nothing came out. There is no working phone number. No one working there. I put a note under the door to let them know what happened and nothing. I guess they figured they could keep my 20 and never contact me. read more

This was a really convenient little laundromat! They had dollar and coin change machines plus there were plenty of top and front load machines. They had a sign offering free wifi and the Cardinals game was on, while I was there. There didn't seem to be an attendant on duty but it was slow and everyone just kept to themselves. There was also a soda and snack machine for something in a pinch but it's also fantastic that SOHA is right next door if you wanted to pop over for a drink or carry out. They have a drive up, drop off/pick up service that I may just use in the future. I had 2 loads and was in and out in a little over an hour. What more do you need in a laundromat? read more

Pros --$2 wash in average (small) sized machine --Relatively quiet --Funny business name Cons --No cards on machines. --ATM minimum withdrawal is $20 and $3 fee. --The doors to the dryers don't stay open when loading and unloading! They slowly close on you! You have to reopen the door as you load or unload OR you have to hold it open with one hand. Very irritating, especially if you end up hitting your head. When I tell people I went to Wash U, it isn't as prestigious as it sounds. The Wash U I went to is a laundromat. I have a washer and dryer at home, but there times when size does matter and you just need something bigger. Those larger capacity washers and dryers come in handy when you need to wash quilts, comforters or rugs. Why put rough wear and tear on your own when you can use a commercial size down the street. In addition to 3 stars, I also give Wash U 3 C's for convenience, cleanliness and cheap. So the next time someone tells you they went to "Wash U", you can ask them do you mean the university or laundromat? read more

***!!BEWARE!!*** MY PERSONAL OPINION:Horrible. Absolutely fn horrible experience tonight!(06-27-21 @ 9pm). Welp, this was my first time using this laundromat and it's right down the road from there I live and thought it couldn't be a bad experience cuz it's in a decent part of the city! WRONG! I got here about 9pm which was after hours so there's no worker here (they're open until midnight tho!) so after toting in ALL my laundry(which was ALOT!) I take my ones and then dollar bills to go use their change machine to start my laundry (there was 4 different machines-2 sets of 2) and I'm trying to shove my money in and it's not taking it. So the guy behind me tells me those sets are out of order, so ok! I go to the other set, shove in a dollar bill, it spits out my change. Great! Do it a second time, and it works again! Awesome! So I go ahead and put my $10 bill in, and NOTHING! the machine then wants to start flashing red saying it's out of fn order!! Like seriously?!! So I can just see my bill in the machine I try picking it out with no luck! So I try n use the other last slot to get money to do my laundry and what do you know! That won't didn't work either! So not only did I just drive here and waste my gas, time, and energy, BUT I just came here and gave them more then half of my wash money that I had!!! Nobody to call, get my money out of their machine, just NOTHING!!! I DON'T EVEN SEE A NUMBER TO CALL AND KISS S MESSAGE AFTER HOURS IF THERE'S A PROBLEM LIKE THIS SO I CAN BE REFUNDED IN THE MORNING!!! Bullsh*t! I have been here about three times and each time there was some broken. once was the coin machine, next the detergent machine, the front load wash with my clothes in them. Each time there was no attendant or phone number to call in case of emergency. also the very last time I was ther it was freezing inside, like there was no heat at all. So, maybe there is laundromat etiquette that I have yet to learn. I only use laundromats when washing bigger items like my comforter, quilts, etc. I usually use an adorable place down the street, but found out I'd be having company last minute one night. I knew I wouldn't have time the next day to take the comforter in, so I was in a rush to find a laundromat that would be open late and could accommodate my needs. Enter Wash U. The hours posted are 6 AM to Midnight. There was a sign posted on the door that said the last load you could put in the washer is at 10:45. I threw my comforter in the washer at 9:45. Because I live close and was prepping for unexpected guests, I set a timer on my phone so I'd have time to run errands and clean while it ran. I came in and out twice while the washer was running and the man who was working the laundromat said nothing to me. I walked past him several times and he never made eye contact or conversation. Totally fine, whatever. I came back at 10:30 to switch my load from the washer to the dryer. Again, walked past the man twice- no conversation. I left again to run errands and set my phone timer for when I needed to be back. I arrived back at 11:15. (Less than 5 minutes later than when the dryer stopped.) The man working unlocked the door that he had already dead-bolted (understandable- no one else was there or could come into wash) and said, "You're lucky I'm still here. I was about to leave and lock up your stuff. You'd have to get it later." I was baffled by this, and asked (nicely) why he would do that if the posted closing time was midnight. This set him OFF. He began talking nonstop about how selfish it would be for me to expect him to stay until midnight. He talked about the posted sign (which again, said laundry had to be put in the WASH by 10:45), and then berated me for leaving my things, saying, "You would actually be mad at me for not staying until midnight? Oh, would you be mad if your quilt got stolen while you were gone too?" At this point, I was pretty livid. He continued to go on and on (and on) about the injustice of my assumption, even while he unlocked the door for me to exit. At this point, I turned around, cut him off mid-sentence and wished him a good evening. He was looking for a fight and I wasn't going to give it to him. Yes. I left my belongings. Yes, if they were stolen, it would be my fault. But to insinuate that I am selfish simply because I expect for your store to be open at the posted times is ridiculous. If he had any intention of leaving early, and he KNEW that I was in and out, he had plenty of opportunities to tell me. So yeah. This place has nice machines, free soap during daytime hours, and seems pretty clean. Maybe their daytime service rocks. I'll give them two stars and a little dash of hope to go with it. But, I'm making note of their evening service, and will take my business elsewhere. read more

How does one review a laundromat? Does it have coin operated washers and dryers? Yes. Lots. Even those big ones that can hold somewhere around 80 pounds of laundry and cost, like, 8 bucks in quarters. They have coin operated detergent dispensers and laundry bag dispensers. They have rolly carts you can move your stuff in. They have a few TVs with cable. They say they have wifi (though I didn't test it). They even have a South Park pinball machine that's loud, crude, and pretty fun. And they have change machines that accept bills as large as a ten. Those are pretty much all of the things one would need in a laundromat. It's fairly clean. It's in a central location right off of Hampton. It's well lit. There are chairs, but probably not enough. It's a laundromat. I didn't go there to have a good time. I went because our down comforter couldn't go in our top load washer. It was convenient. It was clean. At no point did I feel like a homeless person was going to shank me and steal my quarters. Apparently it's also a dry-cleaning service and they offer a clothes folding service as well. I did not take advantage of either of these, so I feel unqualified to review them. But you should know they are available. read more

When I was a kid, my dad would take me to the tiny town laundromat that had pea-green walls and old ladies who resembled that decrepit chick from birthday cards. I thought it was pretty luxurious, though, that we could bring all of our clothes and blankets there and wash them all at once. Today, I don't think laundromats are quite as awesome, but they still serve their purpose - to wash mounds of crap that you forgot to take care of during the past month. At least that's why I end up at laundromats, even though I have a washer/dryer in my loft. Wash U is just fine. There are plenty of regular top-loading washers as well as super-sized front-loading washers (These are what I ALWAYS end up going for, for three months of clothes plus two sets of sheets). There are enough large dryers to play counterpart, too. The large front-loading washers in the middle are $4.25/load, and the dryers on the side are $0.25/8 minutes. Wash U has those roller cart thingies with the hanger bar and lots of surfaces to fold stuff on. The place is decently clean (though naturally, lint is rampant), there are change machines and laundry products to buy if you forget yours. And you won't be bored - there are a couple of arcade games, several TVs, free wifi and a casino game. Yes, a casino game; Teh Oldz apparently dig this place, judging by the action it's gotten during the past 40 minutes I've been here. Laundromats always are great for people watching. Today, I've seen plenty of granny panties, kids fighting over the free driving game, and a guy who doesn't appear to have any laundry but is there to watch the Cardinals game. There's a front and back entrance (That's what she said. Maybe.). I started to park on the side by the front, but my friend directed me to the back to be close to the door I didn't realize existed. In addition to their fancy $4-$5.50 heavy duty front loading washers, they have $2.00 top loading washers. My clothes were clean after I used the machine . It takes about a dollar to dry your clothing in the regular dryers IF you don't stuff the dryers full. The floors were a little dirty, but other than that, my hour and a half (nearly) was relatively painless. I went on a Saturday afternoon and there were about 4 people in there, so there were plenty of machines available . Oh, and the Wi-fi works! read more

I come here all the time to wash clothes from the Goodwill and this time I came I had used the $8 machine that said BIG LOAD 8 loads right. I put my stuff in there and noticed that there was barely any water in the machine on wash mode. Then I let the lady that works there know there is a problem. She pretty much told me that I messed up and put too much stuff in it. I told her that doesn't make any sense when the machine says BIG LOAD on it 8 loads. So i basically asked if I could get a refund and was denied. This was very frustrating to deal with so i took my stuff out the washer and went to another laundromat. When I didn't have a washing machine this was the only place I would go. Its clean, the machines work, there are TVs, even pinball and WiFi. In the world of laundromats this is the best. The cleanliness alone makes it at least 4 stars. Most places are dingy dirty and make me wonder if the machines are just making my dirty clothes more dirty. Not here. read more

This place is horrible! I have been there numerous times to give it chance after chance. Ive tried every type of washer there and NONE of them cleaned my clothes nor rinsed the soap out of the clothes. The dryers only get hot half the time i guess because they Dont feel like cleaning out the lint traps all the time. But needless to say this place has ruined alot of my childrens clothes not washing the stains out and then torching them permanently into them. Because when the dryers do work even on the lowest setting it gets hot as hell and the clothes almost feel warped when you get them out. I cant stand this place and really think they need to shut down install new equipment and reopen. Im really surprised Im the only one Thats complained. I try to avoid eye contact with anyone when doing laundry at a laundromat. Why? Because I am ashamed to not have a laundry machine in my own home. Because I am ashamed of what I am wearing at the laundromat, (its laundry day for christ's sake.) And the other people in there are super-sketchy most of the time. But...I can do a month's worth of dirty clothes in about an hour and a half, and for like $10. I use the massive industrial sized washer they have, and do like 40 pairs of socks and underwear at once. They have a great arcade game inside. There are 2 working TVs that have maybe 3 channels each. Some of the machines smell like dead raccoons, so make sure to sniff the washing machine before stuffing your favorite hoodie in there. But thats just a general rule of thumb in laundromat land, not just this place. I have tried to get on the "free" internet there like 5 times to no avail. Is it free because they are stealing bandwidth from the neighboring houses? Or is it free because it just does not work, or exist. I am not sure. But, surfing the web while doing my laundry has never happened here, it just plain never works. The little old lady with the mop and apron full of quarters was no help either.
