Service was great. Dry cleaning excellent. People super nice and friendly. Clothes ready and pressed perfectly.

Nicest people, good dry cleaners. Don't have shirt service. Price is about average. Convenient location at end of strip mall.

I happened upon Parkside Cleaners as they had the best reviews and ratings on Yelp far and above the other cleaners in the city/county boundaries I'd set for my search. Walking in, everything was clean and wide open. The racks of clean clothes fill the space behind the service desk. They're neatly arranged and sorted; it looks more like a department store of sorts than cleaners. They're neatly arranged have a small area partitioned off which appears to be a dressing room near a sign that states they offer alterations. The two women, sisters, who work the counter are both extremely friendly and pleasant. My first visit was dropping off a navy wool pea coat that I'd actually never had cleaned, but after spilling a large coffee on myself one day, it was pretty much forced. I've had two white dogs the whole time I've owned this coat, so let's just say it showed . When I picked it up, not only had they gotten all the coffee stains out, it looked better than brand new !!! I'll admit that I was worried about the paying upfront when I dropped off, but it was completely worth every penny!!! I'll be bringing more cleaning here very soon! read more

I agree that Parkside does excellent work. However, I took cleaning in this week and was advised that i had to pay for my cleaning up front. I have been patronizing this cleaners for six years and had never missed picking up my clothing. I paid and questioned why I had to pay up front. Unfortunately, this practice makes me feel devalued so I will not be returning. Korean business have enjoyed tremendous support within urban communities. I believe they should punish bad actors and not everyone who patronize their business; if in fact that is what they are doing! read more

Timely, efficient, excellent service and EXTREMELY friendly owner (Grace) and staff. Wouldn't trust anyone else with my favorite clothes!

I had several jeans hemmed up because I'm short and they did an excellent job! I recommend them if you're a short person or anyone needing something altered. read more

I've been going to Parkside for over 7 years for dry cleaning (shirts, suiting, formal dresses). Stuff happens, and the dry-cleaning business is tough, but I've never had an issue. I've even had minor repairs done (mending years and such). The new location is further away but worth the drive for the service quality. read more

Took my uniform pants to them for pressing with starch on Tuesday. Picked them up Friday and they over pressed them on too high of a heat and melted them. Yes literally melted the inside waistband and the pants themselves now have scorch marks all over them.... Ruined Three pairs of pants at over $100 each Sure I will bring them in Monday afternoon however it's not only the waistband that's been melted the whole outside of the pants are scorched it appears that somebody decided to press polyester pants on a wool setting read more

Update: The owner contacted me shortly after my review and offered reimbursement for my dress. My husband brought my dress back in when got home from work (5:30pm) that day and talked to one of the "owners" over the phone who told him to come back on Monday for a reimbursement check. Later that evening the owner updated his response to me (9:30pm) to only include a refund for the cleaning. When my husband returned on Monday, he was told they wouldn't honor the phone conversation and would only refund the cleaning cost. Two trips to the cleaners later, I can now say they ruined my dress for free. If you're looking for a good cleaners, look somewhere else. Original review: Brought a cream colored dress to be cleaned at this location. The dress had only been worn once to a graduation but had some dirt around the slit in the dress so I took it to be cleaned. When I picked up the dress there was a massive bleach spot at the slit. The dress is ultimately ruined and I was not offered a refund or explanation. The store clerk's response was that it was "impossible" for them to have a bleach spot on the dress and that I probably brought it in that way. I've in no way altered that dress and pointed out the spot as soon as I received the dress. Don't go here. They offered no solution or responsibility for ruining a dress and yet they call themselves a "Christian" company. Im furious. read more

My fiancé dropped off several dresses to be cleaned and altered here. The cleaning was done poorly and her expensive dresses were ruined. Another dress was altered but needed to be fixed. When we brought the dress back in, she was argumentative and said they don't use glue and insinuated that we were lying and that this dress was never dropped off here in the first place. We have a receipt that shows that it was in fact dropped off here and that it was paid for "dress regular tapering". I would not recommend leaving your clothes here. read more

My family patronized this cleaners for a couple of years and was satisfied with their work, until they DESTROYED my silk Antonio Melani blouse. But the problem I have, is the owner/manager refusal to accept responsibility for DESTROYING my blouse. My blouse had only been worn twice before they DESTROYED it. I told & showed the owner/manager my blouse and she became angry and unreasonable. She stated my blouse wasn't silk but satin, even though the label said silk. She stated if I purchased the exact $200 blouse again and bring it to show her with the receipt she would reimburse me. I did exactly what she asked me to do and she still refused to acknowledge that they COMPLETELY DESTROYED my blouse and refused to reimburse. Not only is she an irresponsible business owner she is liar. I wish I could give her a 0 read more

Being new to the area, I was in need of a new dry cleaner - Parkside Cleaners was easy to find and close enough to where I live; where it wasn't a hassle to get here. Selected this cleaners over others based on my fellow Yelpers and their extensive insight and knowledge (thanks Squad)! Upon entering I was greeted quickly and with a smile. After getting my 10 plus pieces out of my bag, I was quickly told that it would be $6.25 to wash polos; and an additional $1 if I wanted them back next day. (If this would have been the extent of my exchange here; I would have given this place 1 start). Mind you I walked into this establishment around 7:45 AM on a Friday morning. Most cleaners that I have ever been to, if you bring a shirt in by 10:00 AM, getting the garment back next day is a non- issue not for this place, so, I left my dress shirts and took my polos elsewhere. Getting to the point here, even after all that, once I returned next day for my dress shirts, the lady not only remember my name after only meeting here once the day prior, she had my shirts up front waiting for me. Wow - talk about customer service. That exchange in itself will push me to come back here, not to mention the job they did on my shirts (if I wear the shirts and I identify something wrong I will update). PS - I also love the love of Jesus displayed here, not that it has anything to do with the work they do as cleaners. Well done! Cheers, read more

Parkside cleaners is located in a small strip mall on the corner of Taylor and Forest Park. There is some parking right in front of their store that is designated just for them. Whoever helps you is always friendly and helpful. Since my husband is retired, we don't use a cleaners every week like we use to but after going to different cleaners in the area, this is the one for us. Would I come back here? Yes, this is the place to go. read more

Parkside Cleaners - My Nordiques Jacket all fresh and clean - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Saint Louis, Missouri

Parkside is a dry cleaners located in the Central West End neighborhood near WashU's med campus. I've taken my sport jacket here which desperately needed a cleaning after several weeks' wear... I visited in early November, and I was met with a courteous clerk, and was even offered a discount as a first time customer. The prices extremely fair, and the turn around time was fast. They even ask if you'd like to "rush" your cleaning (not sure the turnaround time is) but the additional charge is very very minimal. I'd recommend it to all my friends/colleagues! read more

Parkside Cleaners were awesome. We were in a bind and they helped us out without hesitation. Thanks!

Finally! A dry cleaner on which I can depend! After being disappointed by a handful of other local businesses, I turned to Yelp for guidance, and was pleasantly affirmed in my experience with Parkside. The vital ingredient in the relationship with a dry cleaner is trust. Trust that they will take care of and restore valuable belongings, trust that they aren't using environmentally harmful methods, trust that they won't swindle you, and trust that they will deliver what they promise. I brought an embarrassingly worn and dirty trench coat to Parkside Cleaners. It is a beloved (and expensive) item in my wardrobe, so I was nervous about the idea of taking it to the cleaners in the first place. I was promptly and kindly assisted when I arrived; they took note of my directions and honored their advertised discount as well as waive a small mending fee. Their shop was pleasant and well-maintained; what I could see of their back room looked clean and organized. When I returned to fetch my coat, I was blown away. It was spotless, perfectly mended, free from strong chemical odors, and freshly pressed. The man and woman who assisted me were both friendly, thorough, and quick. I'm now confident that Parkside Cleaners will give whatever I bring the right the TLC I expect. They've earned my trust! read more

Terrible!!!!! They ruined all my 3 expensive dresses. After I complained, they blamed it on me. Afterwards I saw that they had glued my 4th dress so I went to have them readjust and they said that I had never left this dress in the first place. Meaning that I am a crazy liar that glue my own dress and then blame them, even though I paid for them to do an alteration (see receipt below showing payment for "regular tapering")!!!! I have never been so humiliated! They blame me, called me crazy and did not give at least my money back . DO NOT leave your clothes at this place for any kind of service! read more

Great cleaners, one of the few quick turn around cleaners in the area! Appreciate the friendly staff and nicely pressed shirts.

Don't know where to start. 1. I dropped off our laundry on Friday afternoon. Was promised that my wash and fold as well as 2 shirts would be ready by Monday. Monday 5 pm it wasn't ready. They had one shirt ready and another dry cleaned shirt with a huge blob on it... 2. Wash and fold? I'm trying to figure out how to upload a picture in here to show you how they "folded" it. 3. The prices are ridiculous. 4. Lastly, they were trying to dry clean things that I didn't ask them to. Horrible service! Avoid by all means! read more

The other review here must be quite outdated because I had a very different experience. The management and girl at the front desk couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, and the service was as fast as I needed it to be (with my clothes available the next day). I had dress pants, two suits and a couple coats cleaned and everything turned out great with no signs of previous stains and perfect pressing on the pants. I would definitely recommend this cleaners, especially for those who work in the Central West End or with the BJC system nearby. read more

AMAZING!! I had a huge order, over 70 items of pants, shirts, blouses, dresses, suits, and jackets (I just moved and all my things smelled like the had been in a box for 3 months). I was chargd VERY reasonably and a few hours after I dropped off my items I was called and asked if I wanted to have the hem on a few pairs of my pants fixed (they definitely needed it). The repair was perfect and all of my clothes look so good! I was very skeptical about finding a cleaner and I even pulled into the parking lot of some other places and left because they looked pretty sketchy. I drive from by WashU to go here and it is always very busy. The people there are extremely nice and very helpful. Best dry cleaners I have ever been to! read more

What a great place! Service is personable and excellent, they are timely with their turnaround and, best of all, my clothes always look great and never smell like some weird chemical (as I have experienced elsewhere). Once, I came to drop off and found the front desk guy in the parking lot doing his level best to help a woman who had locked herself out of her car. He politely excused himself, took care of my need, and went back to her aid. It was so nice and refreshing to see someone going out of their way to help someone else. Those are the kind of people I want to give my business to and this is one of those rare businesses where I'm likely to make the drive to use them even if I move out of the neighborhood. read more

Affordable cleaning and pressing and a super friendly staff. I've even had my slacks altered here. What's not to like? My usual load consists of 2-5 shirts and a suit, and it's almost always ready in 2-3 days depending on what part of the day I get my clothes in - usually right before they close at 7 (they offer rush but I've yet to try it). I've used a few dry cleaning places around STL and Parkside is by far the most convenient. read more

I've been avoiding dry cleaning my clothes after my horrible experience at Erlich's Cleaning downtown, but I finally gave in and checked out Parkside Cleaners after extensively researching and trying to find a well-reviewed dry cleaners. I'm so happy I went with Parkside! Everyone I interacted with at Parkside was incredibly nice, and they gave me 10% for being a new customer without me requesting any type of discount. What stood out to me about the experience was that they took the time to point out a stain on a top that they tried multiple times to remove however were unsuccessful. I think it's rare that a cleaners will take they time to point out something they weren't "perfect" at, and I appreciated their honesty and thoughtfulness. read more

Best cleaners in CWE. I've lived in CWE and used I believe every single dry cleaner business in a mile radius - Central west end cleaners, Tip Top, and the one on West Pine and Newstead. Everyone says Parkside is expensive....but I find the prices to be about the same. While I have not had a problem with any other cleaners, Parkside has the best customer service and timely delivery of my clothes. Other small perk, they resutured my buttons without being told to! Will not use any other dry cleaners until I leave St louis. read more

They did a great last minute dry clean on a jacket. Was able to squeeze it in and it looked perfect.

When I moved back to St. Louis nine years ago I chose the closest neighborhood dry cleaner. Fortunate for me, it was Parkside Cleaners. Although they were located in a difficult to access location off Taylor and Forest Park, the service they provided was more than worth it. The quality was comparable to the service I had become accustomed to in Washington, DC. Completely satisfied. After moving to STL county a couple years later, because I could not remotely find the same level of service, I would travel half an hour to Parkside, because it was more than worth the time spent on the road. Later, after moving to downtown STL, I still continued to travel; now, across the city, to the location on Lindell... because it is (again) worth it. The level of service Grace, and her staff, provides is second to none. From dress shirts, wool suits, and large, down-filled comforters, I have, over the years, continued to receive the same high-quality service received almost a decade ago. I surmise that, if my next pad was in Kansas City, I'd make a monthly trip back to Parkside for my dry cleaning needs. Without question, the best! Plus, they're really, really, nice people!! read more

The best cleaners I've found yet. I had issues at other cleaners with them messing up my buttons. Some of the nicer shirts I have use real mother of pearl buttons so if you press them they will crumble. They were knowledgeable on the matter and fixed a few buttons for me. Other places wouldn't take responsibility and even said that nice shirts use cheap buttons and that's why they would crumble. Not true. It's that other buttons are plastic so when pressed it doesn't affect them. They also scrub collars and cuffs getting rid of the sweat stains. Most places just run it through the wash and ultimately set the stain. They will also do alterations and they do a fine job. Their prices are a little higher but it's a clear example of getting what you pay for. Not paying more for sub par service. I love this place read more

I don't think I've ever written a review before but I just had to because the service was so outstanding. They are great as a laundry service - I dropped off a bag full of dirty clothes and picked up fresh smelling and folded clothes the next day. If it's your first time, they'll give you a 10% discount. It's $2.50/lb for their laundry service and they rounded down to the nearest pound for me. Could not be more friendly or accommodating read more
