The cover is two pieces and the helpful associate pointer out the 80 lb load machine. $11 instead of using two $8 machines. I had to break a twenty but they bought back $5 in extra quarters. It's after 11:00 pm. I'm knocking insects off my items because my laundry was delivered and left in my breezeway. The bags were not sufficient enough to keep insects out of over $100. worth of paid laundry services. Most of the things I sent to have washed are insect laden. I dare not call and tell them again about this problem. We live and we learn! I will have to re-wash 95% of what I had them wash. Great place to do your laundry. I visited today to wash and dry a king size comforter. I don't do much laundry so I was pretty clueless but the staff could tell and gave me great advice. After loading my comforter into the dryer I left to grab some lunch and my time expired while I was gone. I was a regular weekly customer of yours for a full year, and had my daughter with me today. She accidentally put the $20 in the changer that doesn't give bills back and I got $20 worth of quarters. I asked the lady in charge if I could get some dollars back and she said no. I told her that they just came out of the machine and she said no. Frankly, I don't care if you're not going to have enough ones later, I even offered $10 in quarters for a $10 bill and you still said no. I'll be giving you bad ratings from now until I can't review anyone anymore. It's also a shame that you have some really nice people that work here and you had to blow it for the rest of them. I seem to be having poor luck with Dry Cleaners lately. The topic of this review is "Managing Customer Expectations" I chose the Winchester cleaners because they had a coupon in the Entertainment Book. I dropped off my clothes during my lunch break on a Wednesday. The gentleman working cleared off a space on the counter and had me drop my clothes there, gave me a ticket and told me the clothes would be ready on Friday. Friday arrived and I went during my lunch break to pick them up. I presented the coupon along with my claim ticket to the lady working. She told me that the coupon couldn't be honored because I didn't hand it in when I dropped off the clothes and gestured to a sign on the counter. Unfortunately, when I dropped off my clothes, this sign would have been buried in the piles of clothes on the counter. I'm not a fan of the "give us your coupons in advance" service. I've had instances in the past where the coupons get lost along the way and I don't get credit for them. I don't see a reason why the coupon couldn't be honored at the time of payment. Anyway, I was willing to accept my loss of not being able to use the coupon and get my clothes and go. She referenced my ticket and checked for my clothes, but did not find anything. She asked when I dropped them off and I told her Wednesday. She responded that my clothes would be ready after 6 PM. This would have been nice information to share when I was initially told when they'd be ready on Wednesday. There are a lot of dry cleaners out there and my quest to find one I am happy with will continue... read more

Good place to go if you have something that just won't fit in your machine at home. I spent $9 to run a car cover through a double wash cycle in their largest commercial front-loading machine. It needed to be washed in order to get rid of the remodeling dust and dirt it was exposed to for a couple of months while contractors used our garage as their workshop while doing a couple of bid projects in our house. The woman running the place on Easter Sunday was pleasant and helpful on the phone and remembered me when I turned up. She did everything for me except loading/unloading the machine. Her advice about the right amount of detergent based on the machine type was spot-on and prevented what would have been a horrible mess (and at least another $9) had I followed the car cover manufacturer's instructions instead. I had a really positive experience with Winchester Cleaners this weekend. Due to some renovation circumstances at home I found it necessary to remove my entire wardrobe from my closet to be washed and put back. I sorted everything into seasons and decided if I could get the summer clothing (since it is currently summer) and the bed linens done immediately then I could take my time with the winter clothing. Enter Winchester Cleaners. I considered just going there and doing the laundry myself at their laundromat but then I read they have drop off service for 99¢ a pound. I dropped everything off Saturday afternoon and at 10:30 pm on Saturday (so odd they would call a customer this late!) they were calling me to tell me it was ready. I picked it up midday on Sunday and was satisfied with the cleanliness, the way they packed it, and the price! That's checked off the list! I would definitely return. read more

Before my lady and I moved into a house with a washer and dryer recently there was only one place I would go to do my laundry, Winchester Cleaners. I still am using them for dry-cleaning and any item too large for our house's small-ish washer and dryer because they are so good. The employees are friendly and responsive to any of your needs, be it buying a snack or telling them how a certain machine isn't working (which they will then happily refund your quarters for). If you need something dry-cleaned they are fast and efficient with very fair prices too. Also, they are close to my favorite Chinese Restaurant, China in Bombay, so if you're there getting your clothes cleaned you can easily pick some grub up there and then walk the few feet back to Winchester. This place is horrible mainly because of the owner Norma's lack of customer service skills. I only do reviews when I have really good or REALLY bad service. I used the wash, dry, and fold service offered by the laundry mat. This went well for about four months. The staff was courteous, the prices were reasonable and they did at least a decent job (considering the price). However, recently two of my business shirts were damaged (they shouldn't have been in laundry they should have been dry cleaned). When I told them about my damage shirts they insisted that it was my fault. I questioned this especially because no note was sent home on the damaged shirts rather they were just returned me as if nothing was wrong. Additionally the person who did my laundry said she's "not sure" but she "thinks" they "may have" come in damaged-which I have saved on voicemail. If they had simply decided not to replace my shirts this would have been not ideal but I'd have copied & possibly even used the company again. Instead while they supposedly replaced my shirts the owner made it very clear in a ride way that she did not believe they damage the shirts and that it was all my fault but she would replace them because she was "a nice person." I picked my shirts up this week and one of them is clearly not at all the quality or even brand of the one I originally purchased and the other is the complete wrong size and I can't even wear it. She got one from eBay (I bought mine from a suit shop), the other she exchanged at Macy's who knows what she told them to make them give her a brand new shirt in exchange for one she damaged. Needless to say neither of them are acceptable and one not even wearable. I can't make it clear enough how RUDE Norma was to a paying loyal customer. I'll never use this company again. Out of pure desperation I went back (I travel a lot and have a lot of laundry) and they tried to make me sign a waiver saying that if they damaged any more of my clothing it was OK that they not replace it. Great customer service and quality dry cleaning! I have been going here for about 10 years. I have used them for shirts, sweaters with intricate beading, even my wedding dress... never a problem and the clothing always looks fantastic.
