I've read a number of less-than-stellar reviews for this cleaners, and I'm shocked -- it makes me…read morewonder if they're reviewing the right place! My experience at Pro Cleaners (on Bellevue in Richmond Heights) has been nothing short of wonderful, and I've been a customer since they first opened. Dry cleaning, or I should say GOOD dry cleaning, is expensive, but I find the prices at Pro Cleaners to be very reasonable for the quality service they provide. And, just recently, I asked about alterations, and the shop did a perfect alteration on a pair of trousers for only $20. I never pick up my items on time, and they never get irritable with me for taking up space on their racks, and the people who work here are always kind and friendly. What's not to like?

I stopped by Bellevue Laundromat on a Thursday evening around 6 PM to tackle some bulk laundry, and…read moreit was surprisingly not too busy. I needed three washers, and between washing and drying, expect to spend around $10-$20 in quarters. The whole process took me about an hour, which wasn't bad at all. Service-wise, there wasn't an attendant on-site, but they do have a number posted on the door if you run into any issues. Just note that only one of the two coin machines was working, so it's smart to have a plan B or bring extra change with you. The ambiance was decent--well-lit and fairly calm--but the trash bins were overflowing and could use more frequent attention. There's also very limited seating, so you might want to wait in your car or take a short walk while your laundry runs. Lastly, there were only two laundry carts available, so if you don't bring your own, you might have to wait your turn. Overall, it's a functional, gets the job done, but it could use a little more upkeep and on-site support.

This is a great little place to wash things that are too big for the home washing machine (the…read moreoversized machines here are great for comforters and such, and reasonably priced), so why the three-star review even though I've gone here for years? This place has a new attendant and he's a little scary. If he can be believed, the owner died and left him the laundromat (not sure he can be believed, but he certainly is ubiquitous at this location), even though he claims he is already independently wealthy (he is, after all, the real Bruce Willis -- the one in the tabloids is just his stand-in). I think the attendant lives there, since he maintains a chest filled with cheese, which he drops everywhere. The incessant chatter was just annoying, and I did my best not to engage. It only became scary when he pointed out the car that "they" gave him out of appreciation for his contributions to Richmond Heights (which his father founded, according to him). It was my car. At that point, I felt it was time to make a quick getaway before he noticed me driving off in his prize, so I had to schlepp everything in one trip and make a beeline. Fortunately I only pack away the winter linens once a year. Maybe by the time I need to go again, he'll have gone back to Hollywood.

They were constantly making rounds, wiping down machines, sweeping floors, and ensuring that everything stayed sanitary. With free Wi-Fi, ample laundry carts and washers/dryers, and reasonable pricing, it made the whole process so easy and stress-free. I'll definitely be returning and recommending this place.

However this last time I brought it in to be cleaned the very white rug came back in worse condition than when I brought it in. The edges were frayed and the white rug was stained yellow. Instead of standing behind their mistake and screw up they declined to replace the rug even though they should have after THEY were the ones who completely destroyed it. I explained how disappointed I was because when I dropped off the garments, there was no mention about having to replace the fabric of the belt loops or completely altering the back of the skirt where the zipper was. She asked what she could do to make it right. I could tell she really cares about her business and customers, as well as the quality of work they produce. I explained that there wasn't much because of how altered they both were but instead, to make sure her parents fully understood what the customer was wanting and not to be afraid to say no if they couldn't actually do it. She agreed and again, couldn't have been more apologetic. This was a learning lesson for both parties and I know how to move forward. In the beginning, she asked if she could give me a refund. I declined at first because I wasn't seeking one but instead, was really hoping something could be done about my clothes. After a few phone calls, I decided I'd go ahead and take it. Prior to this, It had been a while since I've brought something to them but because this was handled so professionally, I'll continue using them but for dry cleaning only. Michelle, thank you for your kindness and empathy you displayed in trying to remedy this situation.

The dress was pretty clean but the bottom was pretty dirty from our outdoor wedding. Their service was excellent. They got it cleaned and packaged up in box within two weeks of dropping it off there. The communication they provided was excellent. They even sent a text message when the dress was ready for pickup. The quality of work was well worth the cost. The dress cleaning and preservation was $260 then they offered two size boxes. The medium box was $80 and the large box was $100. My wife's dress luckily fit into a medium box so I walked away with an out the door price of $360. I was not aware until I picked it up that the box I purchased came with a window so that you could still see the dress while keeping it packaged up and looking nice! I would highly recommend this place for all your dry cleaning needs and especially if you're looking to have your wedding dress preserved. My rating : BEST
