Wasabi has always been a great place for sushi. We were wanting sushi so we went here to eat. We have been to several other wasabi and food tastes pretty good. The sashimi tastes fresh. I love salmon sashimi and this place does not disappoint. The server was good and he takes our order pretty fast. He also was by himself and was patience with the table next to us with people who seem to never ate here before.

Was in town for business. Wasabi use to be located around the corner and in all The years worked in Clayton, was never disappointed with any Lunch or Dinner. Spent plenty of $. However, this new location and staff and quality is not one that impressed me nor will I be returning. I arrived when they opened. It was a few minutes before someone approached me. It was another 1/2 hour before received food(all Ordered at beginning). The portions were small rolls yet for $17 is absolutely not worth it. The tuna and salmon didn't taste to what I expect at any high end restaurant. Very disappointed and not on my return list. For the cost of lunch, I left hungry and disappeared. Should have gone to a Panera Bread for a salad and sandwich or soup.

Consistently good sushi! My boyfriend and I often come here and the Girl on Fire roll never disappoints. Our go-to rolls are Girl on Fire, Rainbow Roll, and then we'll try a new-to-us roll. Have always had a good experience!

My daughter and I went for lunch, and the food was so delicious, like always. They do have a lunch menu, which makes it a little cheaper. The lunch portions are a filling size, and we even had leftovers. It was super cold in the restaurant but it was 100° the day before we went and 70° the day we went. Our server was the only server working, so we did have to wait extra long to place a to go order and get our bill, but she provided everything we asked for with a smile.

We went to Wasabi on Valentine's day, we both really had a sushi craving and we were calling up places for a last minute reservation with not a lot of luck until showing up here. You could tell they were having a crazy day all the staff looked really busy the entire time but I was impressed with how often they still got around to us. We both got drinks while waiting on the food, just beer and wine, both which were good. Then got our rolls which were delicious. I got shrimp the tempura roll and veggie roll. the place was very open, clean looking, and very nice. One bummer was that we were both pretty cold, i think the door behind us was giving us a little chill the entire time.

I like this location. Service and food were really good. It was not busy around 5.30pm, then it got packed in an hour Great open indoor place for groups with their high ceilings. Only con: bistro chairs are not comfortable, they are little too tall for those tables and make it hard to eat.

I Went to wasabi last night and overall my friends and I had a great time! However, if you were thinking of going to wasabi for sushi I would recommend going somewhere a little more reasonably priced! All of the rolls there are 9 dollars or more unless you go Tuesday for their 7$ roll special! There wasn't anything particularly wrong with the sushi and it was beautiful but the taste didn't really stand out. However, their fried rice was pretty good and it was clean in shop! To conclude my review though I would recommend going somewhere else for better food at a better price!

It's......ok I mean, if you're in the 'hood, your choices aren't really that great, and this will do. It's all very generic, which is also absolutely fine, I mean, you won't be disappointed. Oh, get sushi, and stay away from most everything else...

Love Wasabi for work lunches with my colleagues. I have only been here twice, but both times the food and service were excellent. This time, I ordered the bonsai roll and the vegetable roll. Both were very fresh and an exciting combination of textures. My favorite part about Wasabi is that they have interesting curated rolls for vegetarians, which is often not the case. There is street parking directly outside and on the streets around Wasabi, and there is also a garage in the Centene building that contains Wasabi. Although I am not 100% sure, but I imagine they would validate tickets from the parking garage, as I know other nearby restaurants do. Highly recommend giving Wasabi a try!

The food is always great. However the service at lunch was a bit tricky because they are in need of staff.

Checking in the city, and this location was near by. I always enjoy sushi so came here for dinner. Got sat quickly and my waiter was super courteous even while attending 7-8 tables. Fire girl was great. Literally came on a fire plate for a cool effect. And can't go wrong with a nice shrimp tempura roll. Both rolls were nicely sized and definitely filled me up.

Has to be the worst sushi in town. Old fish, terrible service, and generally just a bad restaurant. If I could give it zero stars I would.

The Nikkei Maki consists of mango, green papaya, avocado, salmon, crispy rice, aji verde, and ikura. The Pillow Talk was the best cocktail I have had this year! One of my favorite places was a small standing sushi restaurant in Tokyo that always had a line out the door. I ended up going about three times during my short stay because I was genuinely afraid I'd never experience sushi that good again. Then I moved here and discovered Sado. It had always been on my list to try, and every single time we go, I'm completely blown away by the experience. Their sushi rolls are good, but the nigiri and sashimi are where they really shine. The fish practically melts in your mouth, and the way they balance the flavors is just chef's kiss. I could honestly cry over how good it is. My boyfriend and I try to come here every chance we get, and at this point, we don't want sushi anywhere else. Sado has completely ruined us for other sushi spots. If it's your first time, my recommendations are: Isaan Hamachi Sake Toro Zuke Sake Madai Garlic Pepper Kanpachi And definitely finish with the Sado Sundae! You will not be disappointed.

The menu had so many different options that it was actually a little difficult to decide what to order. My wife decided on a vegetarian sushi roll, while I went with the chicken teriyaki since I wasn't really feeling sushi for dinner. Our server was very polite and attentive throughout our visit. After placing our orders, everyone's food arrived within about 10 minutes, which was impressive considering we were a table of six. I have to say, I really enjoyed the chicken teriyaki. The chicken was flavorful, and the meal was very good overall. My wife also enjoyed her sushi roll. The prices are definitely on the higher side, but I felt the food and service were worth it. With six people, including tax and tip, our total came to just under $200. Overall, we had a very good experience at Sushi Station. The service was great, the food came out quickly, and there were plenty of options for everyone. We'll definitely consider coming back again.

While I stood at the bar to peruse the lengthy menu the lady walked near me several times in haste with a notepad prompting my order. It wasn't busy but I felt rushed. I placed the order and watched the order be prepared within a few minutes. When the lady brought the receipt I noticed 15% gratuity was added. Appalling, especially since I wasn't offered water, a seat while I waited, nor was I greeted with a hello, a smile or thanked for coming in. Maybe the automatic gratuity is the very reason for the lack of hospitality here. The lack of hostility is the very reason I will never return. P.S. the sushi was decent. There are 100 alternatives I'd rather frequent for a pleasant experience. ~Christy

Some of the bites are definitely an acquired taste (this meal was my first exposure to eating liver and sea urchin - both very bold and unique flavors) but getting to try new foods was something I really liked about this meal. The restaurant is beautiful, warm, and bright. You get to sit right up at the counter with just 5 other people when you do the nine-course dinner. Each course is prepared in front of you so it's neat to be able to see the chefs prepare the next course while you're eating. When you book the reservation, you get the choice to pick between tempura and yakizakana for one of the courses, and while the tempura was good (which I ordered), the yakizakana was excellent (which my husband ordered). They do a great job explaining what everything is that you're eating, how to eat it, and which order to eat it in. And even though it's all small bites, we left dinner feeling full and satisfied. We will absolutely be back.

The wine and sake pairing was terrific, which introduced us to so many new beverages. Dessert is a must, especially at $5. The matcha mousse was airy and fantastic. The chefs are always hard at work in the kitchen and you can tell everything is made with love. I had never had any issues here with the food nor the staff. However, I had a different experience in April. My friend made a reservation for his birthday today. It was the groups' first time coming and they were all very excited. We called multiple times to make sure a group of 12 was okay. We are all aware that not every restaurant is suitable for such a big group, but were told it was not a problem. As soon as we sat down, we could tell one of the servers was very annoyed at the group. From the start, he would answer with an attitude, harshly put the plates on the table, and was outright disrespectful when we asked about a friend's plate that never arrived. This person ended up leaving and going to eat somewhere else. I was a server before and understand that big groups can be frustrating. Nevertheless, there is no excuse to treat a table so rudely when they have been nothing but nice and understanding. The food was great, but we were all extremely dissapointed, specially me since I've been here numerous times with no problem. I had never seen this server before, so I'm not sure if it was an off day for him or what. Most people said they would not come back, which made me very sad since it's good food. Thankfully, the female servers were all very nice and accomodating after the entire situation. I highly recommend Sushi Koi for their rolls. However, do not come in big groups.
