Yakisoba with tofu (I had taken a couple of bites)

Tried this place for the first time with my daughter for dinner on a Monday evening. We sat outside because it was so nice, ordered edamame to share and I got the Yakisoba with tofu which was delicious. We also shared some Dr Dan rolls which were quite tasty. Service was spectacular. I look forward to returning and sitting inside to experience the vibe there.

We arrived at 8:30pm on a Sunday night for a late dinner and snack. They told us that we needed to order and be done eating by 9pm because they closed at that time. While they were somewhat curt about it, it was understandable and typically service is much warmer and friendly. We quickly ordered an asparagus roll and a unagi-don. The food came quickly. Was nicely presented and tasted good. Place is super cute, cozy, with a casual vibe.

The sushi is delicious! My husband and I sat outside, and the service and setting were perfect for a relaxing evening.

My favorite sushi spot in STL - great quality food and quick service. Inside and outdoor seating options (always kept clean) in a good location. Good atmosphere inside, though it can be pretty busy (for good reason) since it's a smaller restaurant.

Ordered online. Said it was ready at 6:36...sat until 7:20 before it was actually ready. Fix your system. Order system was screwed up - said it was having technical issue. So it posted twice on my credit card. They refunded one of the orders but kept the tip. See attached.

We had an *alright* first experience at Sushi Station in Downtown Webster Groves. Nothing was great, nothing was terrible. The atmosphere was visually beautiful but the blasting Christian music was rather... unexpected... for a restaurant of this type! The service was pretty disappointing, we had to leave cash on the table because our waitress never came back. The food was pretty good. My Mom enjoyed her Teriyaki Chicken but did bite into a couple tough pieces. Her rice was also very fluffy and she enjoyed the salad that was included. I got the Orange Chicken Appetizer which was nice and crispy, and a singular Spicy Tuna Nigiri was just okay. Again, the rice was great but the tuna tasted a bit too icy (frozen?) for my liking. We probably wouldn't come back anytime soon, but it wasn't the worst meal we've ever had. The location is very convenient and the prices weren't that bad.

Sushi Station in St. Louis completely exceeded my expectations. The customer service was phenomenal- friendly, attentive, and fast! My food came out quickly, and every sushi roll was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they take pride in what they do. It's hard to pick a favorite because everything I tried was amazing. They have spaced out sittings and outside sits when the weather is favorable. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for great sushi and top-notch service in STL

Everything so fresh! Loved the super white tuna, squid salad and teriyaki chicken. Perfect meal!

Perfect meal. Squid salad, super white tuna, teriyaki chicken. Great service .. also loved no marijuana sign on door

The manager wqs so RUDE! They charged 15% tip for carry out . When asked, she said "You can cancel it if you want . You don't have to eat here and we don't have to make food for you." RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Sushi Station is one of my favorite sushi spots in the STL area. Every time I have been here I can taste how fresh the fish is. Even the more "simple" rolls are still satisfying and worth trying out. Some of my favorite appetizers include the karage and the spicy edamame with chili oil included in it. The appetizer menu itself is expansive with plenty of unique options. Every roll I have tried has been delicious - would recommend pairing a simple roll with one of the more special rolls. On this recent visit, I had the Crunchy Spicy Salmon Roll and the St. Louis Roll. I also appreciate that the menu features plenty of cooked rolls and various Japanese noodle / rice dishes, making this a perfect spot to take someone that is intimidated by raw fish. Sushi station has a lovely outside patio seating as well and is perfect for when the weather is nice. I'm looking forward to heading back soon and trying out some more rolls.

Food Ambiance Service Good overall place to enjoy sushi. The popcorn chicken appetizer was off the charts!! Crab Rangoon was scrumptious as well. Hot Sake was delish. My salmon sushi roll was ok. One of those "had worst, had better" rolls. The place is very nice and upscale looking, and the customer service was great, and always on point.

The sushi rolls were very good and the service was pretty good very nice. The place was very busy and loud inside I would like to go back when we could sit out on the patio.

The worst part is deciding what you want. This last time we went with the omekase, let our waitress choose, and it was perfect. She picked things we never would have thought about, yet everything was SO good. She also did a great job of explaining every course/her thoughts on it/what we should expect. It was such a great experience. The cocktails are always fantastic, no notes. Seriously, the best splurge meal in the city. SO SO good.

We ordered a few sashimi and we expected them to be a little fancier. That was on us. The server as with Indo, above and beyond nice, I think they are accustomed to a lot of questions. Ours was amazing, she said "we don't fork shame here" I fork shame, but she refused. Good for her! I also ordered a cocktail. I would arrive to Sado just for this cocktail, it had a coconut pillow top, that was reminiscent of a marshmallow. Delightful compliment to my savory dinner. I was very surprised at the size of Sado on the inside, we made a turn into the seating then a second turn deeper into seating. I did not get to check out the bathrooms, which disappointed me, but the ambiance was very dark and romantic, also unexpected, there were several tables of friend groups.

We enjoyed sharing the lamb tartare, potstickers, Isaan himachi (WOW), shrimp toast and sake sashimi with King Salmon (next level!!!). Drinks were amazing and wine selection perfectly paired. The words do not convey the end product. For those who do not like sashimi - I understand. At other places, it has literally made me gag. But, I tried it here and holy moly is it good. In a menu of stand out dishes, I think the sashimi is at the very top. The service was wonderful- friendly, knowledgeable, attentive but not too attentive. Gratuity seemed to be included, but we tipped on top of that because the included gratuity was not nearly enough for service that good. Now it is noisy. That is what I did not like, but I have noise challenges. We asked if we could sit up front near the bar. They kindly accommodated us. It was late on a Thursday and the restaurant was full. Definitely make a reservation. There is an adjacent parking lot, but parking fills up quickly. It is evident why the owner has been a James Beard finalist - this is not your average great food. This is more. It is creativity and vibrancy. I almost forgot - price. It is surprisingly reasonable. The dishes are shareable and almost tapas style. 2-3 person is a good amount. Most dishes run $20-30 at this point in time (June 2026). We had really great mocktails which were in the $10 range.
