Law of supply and demand. But given the elevation in quality of life this establishment has provided me with across the years, I feel I owe them some good marketing through a review. If there was a sushi coefficient of freshness, quality, quantity, and cost, this place wins everyday. C= (Fr*Q*q*c) Fr: 9 Q: 8 q: 10 c: 10 C(Yokohama)= 7200 Don't get me wrong - the competition is fierce for delicious sushi (Fudo, MF sushi, Nobu, all the Omakase scenarios popping up in town). What this means is the cost (c) is way too high, giving it a low 1-5 in the equation. Also, quantity (q) is low, about 4-6. So, the resulting coefficient is very low overall. From my understanding, the fish here only comes from Japan, so it's good stuff - and they really load up the rolls (a lot of the time), and they have this deal on weekend for special rolls (25% off I think). So you do get the quality, quantity, and decent price (about $12-15 per specialty roll). The regular rolls are good too, and loaded with fish. E.g. spicy salmon/tuna. So, if you're looking to go crazy on some good sushi without restraint and without breaking the bank completely, this is your spot. family owned I believe, very nice and efficient service. Cozy/casual, not too fancy, but feels comfortable to dine in. No delivery unfortunately on any app, but that makes quality control better IMO. Thank you for your attention to this manner.

Our server was helpful with their recommendations and was attentive the entire time we were there. To start off with the appetizers, the fried tempura appetizers were just okay. The star of the show was definitely the truffle aioli fresh salmon appetizer! The flavors paired so nicely with the fresh salmon cuts. What's keeping me from giving them 5 stars is, despite having a great time and experience, I didn't truly enjoy the rolls as much even though they were good. There were a few unique rolls, but when it came to flavor profiles and uniqueness, it lacked a lot. The appetizers and the sashimi fish are what did a lot of the heavy work, in my opinion. I would still recommend this place to all raw seafood lovers.

Two of my friends had spoken so highly of it, and after experiencing it for myself, I completely understood why. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service were absolutely phenomenal. My friend and I came back about three weeks later for happy hour, and in between that birthday dinner and today, she has actually returned 3-4 more times because she lives only about seven minutes away. She has even taken the time to leave multiple positive reviews about Osha Thai because of how much she genuinely enjoys the restaurant. Needless to say, we are both familiar with and supportive of the restaurant. Unfortunately, today's experience missed the mark. As soon as we walked in, the energy just did not feel welcoming. We were really excited to come in for happy hour and sat at the bar from 5-7 PM. The restaurant was extremely slow when we arrived--in fact, we were the only guests there--yet it still took quite a while for the bartender to come over so we could even place our order. My friend was especially looking forward to the mussels, so she ordered those, while I ordered a sushi roll and we each ordered a drink. Unfortunately, she never received her mussels. The bartender, Tony, was not attentive throughout our visit, and we eventually had to get someone else's attention just to ask for our check. When we asked for the check, I made sure to mention that my friend had never received her mussels. The manager, Nick, came over, looked at the tab, and apologized. We explained the situation to him as well, but Tony was still nowhere to be found and never came over to acknowledge what happened or apologize. Nick did offer us a 15% discount card for a future visit, which we appreciated, but honestly, that wasn't really the point. It was about the principle and the overall experience. My friend and I have both worked in the restaurant industry for years, so we completely understand that mistakes happen. We're not expecting perfection. What matters is how those situations are handled, and unfortunately, we left feeling somewhat dismissed rather than valued. Despite everything, we still left a 20% tip because we understand the industry and don't believe one bad experience should define someone's livelihood. I'm sharing this because we genuinely love Osha Thai. My friend has supported this restaurant multiple times, has returned several times, and has posted multiple positive reviews about her experiences. That's why today was especially disappointing. We know Osha Thai is capable of providing the exceptional food, drinks, service, and hospitality that we experienced during the birthday dinner. Hopefully, today was simply an off day. We would love to return and have the experience that made us love Osha Thai in the first place.

Wasabi House is a Dunwoody staple and really has something for everyone. Sushi is great and you can't go wrong with the bibimbop/stone pots or the bulgogi beef. The vegetables that come with hibachi entrees and other kitchen meals are always good too. Wasabi House also does a great job of accommodating allergies or personal preferences you might have. If there's something about a roll or entree you want to modify, it can be done almost every time. There are lots of options for vegetarians, and unlike other restaurants, they rival the regular meals for taste and preparation. Portion sizes are good and the quality of fish is outstanding for the price. The new remodel has definitely improved the ambience and service speeds of the restaurant and makes it a versatile place to eat lunch/dinner, great for families (definitely kid-friendly), dates, or groups of friends. The booths are roomy and pretty private, and now you can order directly from the table (although you don't have to - it's also helpful to order seconds or just flag down a waitress on busy nights). There's plenty of parking out front, but if you can't find a spot there, there's a parking lot towards the back of the restaurant that's almost always open. read more

Any of the rolls on the menu are amazing but my favorites are Dragon, Godzilla, Kim The Hero, or The Abby Birthday. Although I come for the sushi, the kitchen food is also great. The shrimp stone pot with a fried egg is my personal favorite. If you are starving the bento boxes provide plenty of food to fill you up and a togo box.
