Got to the restaurant at 6:15, was moderately busy but we were seated quickly. We ordered some drinks which came promptly. Our Miso soups and Avocado salads were both very good; the ginger dressing was nice and spicy! The soup was not quite hot enough so we had them warm it which they did quickly enough, and it was very tasty. However that's where the experience took a left turn. They brought my entree to the table before serving my sushi appetizer, so I had them hold the main until I was done with the sushi. Then they brought me the wrong sushi for my appetizer. Another person at my table received the incorrect entree. All of these problems were corrected quickly and with sincere apology, and the food was very good, which is why I'm still giving a 3 star instead of lower. My suggestion to management: look into using a digital ordering system run on tablets that just prints the orders out for the kitchen and sushi bar in both English and Japanese, which I was told was one of the issues with the orders getting mixed up. TL;DR - Really good food, service was pleasant, front of house and the kitchen need to seriously get in sync with each other. Consider coming during the week when it's less busy for now until things get straightened out. read more

Wasabi does offer sushi trays for parties. They have some standard trays. When I asked if they would sub something (because I wasn't sure about eel) they graciously accommodated. You pay for the tray upfront. We had to change the date of the party (Hurricane Ian) so I phoned them right away and it was no problem to reschedule. A real shocker and more of a 4.3. Seems like a crappy takeout place but actually a really good sushi bar. In fact, the sushi preparation is surprisingly as good as it gets. I ate an $800 a person Omakase in Las Vegas two weeks ago that was prepared no Better (weird.) Only let down is that this masterful sushi chef can only serve the same old yech fish - tuna, salmon, Cali rolls because most Americans know crap about sushi (go ahead and keep using your chop sticks to soak rolls in soy, it's comical) so if he bought the good stuff it would just go to waste. We stopped in here to have one of their Poké bowls and an appetizer, and were pleasantly surprised at the burst of flavor and the quality in this unassuming little hideaway in Bluffton. This place was BUSY when we got there on a Friday night. We had a reservation, and we still had to wait. But the waitress brought us a sushi roll on the house to make up for the waiting time. That was nice, and it was delicious sushi. We tried the New York, avocado, Hanalulu, and tempura shrimp rolls. They were all tasty. And their miso soup and tempura vegetable appetizer were both also great. Overall, we loved the food, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Plus, we forgot our credit card there...whoops. Huge menu with lots of sushi, poke bowls and other Japanese dishes. Lunch specials come with miso soup or a salad. The salads were very fresh. I had the chicken Katsu curry rice bowl. Huge serving. Welp. Buckle up. I never write reviews because its not worth my time. But this experience is one for the books. You're probably gonna read this same review from a couple different people. My nephew is throwing a fit so half of my party is not present. Our "server" (looked very young so not sure that's what he was) comes over maybe around 9 to ask if we are almost ready to order because they close at 9:30. We quickly order fast togo because we feel bad until we realise even their door says 10. I get it. It's slow you wanna go home, there's no money to be made financially or for your employers, but don't bs me saying last seating is at 9:30. Even so we arrived before 9; so now you're just being a dick. If you want something positive the goyza were good, but not worth the manager acting the way they did. Ps.
