Took my family here for lunch to try a little something different. Upon walking in the hostess didn't ask what side we wanted just walked us to the regular side instead of the hibachi side. The floor is super sticky I thought my foot was going to come out of my shoes a couple of times. The food was okay it wasn't bad but it wasn't great the chef was super awesome probably the best part of the whole meal and of course they give balloons to little kids so it made my sons day. No one ask if we needed refills on drinks or if we needed anything else, the check came we paid and left needless to say I don't think will be returning. read more

My husband and I came here for lunch and we truly enjoyed our experience. The host asked us if we wanted to sit at a booth or sit at the tables where they cook in front of you and we decided a booth. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very nice. We ordered the Ocean Heart Roll and we loved it! We also ordered the emperor dinner for two and it was delicious! It was the hibachi special for two that comes with steak, shrimp and chicken. The clear soup and salad came out quickly and so did our roll. The hibachi special was a large portion of rice and veggies. They did give us a fair amount of steak and chicken but the shrimp was a smaller portion then we were anticipating. We were not able to finish our food so we boxed it all up. The waitress gave us two shrimp sauces without asking to go with our leftovers. The inside is nice. They have a fountain in the middle with fish. One side has booths and the other side is where you can experience a chef cooking in front of you. Went there with my daughter, it's always fun to have a hibachi meal. The food was good, nothing spectacular. But as we walked out, I saw the sushi. Yummy. I will go back just to have sushi. Delicious sushi and yummy lunch menus! We really love their ginger dressing. We usually go at least 1 time a week! Absolutely terrific!!!

Entry is a little strangle due to the awkward waiting area that staff are unable to see. Service is decent they greet you and smile but are a bit slow. There are a lot of open spaces but it always takes 10-15 mins to be seated. Other than that the food is pretty good the hibachi grill is quite entertaining and the fried rice is always great. Went here for lunch... was very disappointed in the quality of the food as well as the portions. One of us ordered steak and it was very chewy. The vegetables were also very badly cooked (how do you mess up stir fry)? One of us ordered the 16.00 lunch shrimp and scallops and received 4 shrimp and 2 scallops! When we brought his up with our waitress she told us that this was standard. Overall, we were very disappointed, (and it's not like we had high expectations going into it). Not only did we have to chase down a server to take our order after about 10 minutes of patiently waiting and watching other tables get their orders taken. This is the best restaurant in Bluffton. I come here nearly every week for the sushi. The staff is really nice and friendly!

I've been here a few times now for their half priced sushi (monday thru thurseday all day). The prices are more than reasonable and they don't just add a ton of rice to the roll to fill you up. The quality isn't as good as other sushi places, but it's quality is more than sufficent for it's price. The staff can be a little akward at times but I think that's more due to either a culture or language barrier. When I've gone there it's not fast service. So don't go there looking to rush in and out. If you go when you have the time to chat with the person your dining with, it's more enjoyable. Over all this is my go to spot for sushi. It has it's flaws, but well worth the price. read more

We were seated for hibachi at dinner tonight. We ordered a bottle of their most expensive Blackstone Merlot ($32 menu price, $7.49 at Total Wine)...no problem, I expect a restaurant to triple or quadruple their cost to earn a profit. What I do have a problem with is the waitress bringing me an uncorked bottle of wine that is missing 3 inches of wine. When I asked for an unopened bottle of wine she claimed that she had just opened it saying, "trust me, I just opened it , that's how it is supposed to look." I told her she had not just opened it and suddenly a manager appeared with an unopened bottle and proceeded to butcher the cork, but at least we had a full untainted bottle. Hibachi chicken was way overcooked and the wait service was further mediocre aside from the blatant lie about the bottle of wine. Ambiance was typical for this place...incredibly loud. Generous $15 tip on $150. I made a note on the receipt that she ruined her own tip by lying. read more

I went there the second week they opened. took nearly an hour to get our food. and they fucked up our orders too. sushi for appetizer but nope, we got the sushi when we were done with dinner and got the bill, didn't even want to pay for it. and the place wasn't even busy at all too. people that came after us got their food first. We love Sake House. Their assortment of sushi rolls and sashimi options are both excellent. They offer a number of more unique sushi roll combinations and we especially like the Golden Tokyo and Angel Rolls. The vegetable gyoza, miso soup and katsudan are also lovely. Service is also was good and food is fresh and tasty. It's become a regular stop for my husband and I and we visit about once a month. Never a bad experience. read more

Ignore the 3 star avg review. The poor reviews are from a long time ago. We stopped in tonight and I found my new favorite sushi place in Bluffton. Hubs had chicken and filet teriyaki which he said was very good. Huge portion. Best filet he's had in a hibachi meal he said. I loved the miso soup-sometimes they can be bland but this one definitely wasn't. I also loved the dynamite roll. Friendly, attentive service and good food. What more can you ask for? read more
