The food was very flavorful and made with love. The service is top tier and respectful. The ambience is great for a casual dining experience or date night! The establishment was very clean, beautifully decorated and well lit. I'm very happy with my experience!

I was genuinely excited when Sakyura opened. It's always great to have another restaurant nearby, and during our first few visits, the food seemed promising. My husband especially enjoys the sushi--it's fresh, nicely presented, and has been consistently good. The gyoza is also decent: crispy on the outside, flavorful on the inside. And the noodle dish I've had several times is good. That said, our more recent visits have been disappointing overall. I ordered the pho tonight, and while it had a ton of noodles, the broth was almost completely lacking in flavor and there was barely enough of it to call it soup. Pho should be rich and aromatic, and this just didn't hit the mark. Took a few bites and called it. I've also had issues with the chicken in other dishes--it has a very odd, almost rubbery texture that makes it hard to enjoy. We've tried the bento boxes too, and while they look appealing, the meat isn't cooked in the sauce--it's just spooned on top, which leaves the dish feeling disjointed and almost like a microwave dinner feel. Service is another area where the experience falls short. Even when the restaurant isn't busy, the staff tends to be distracted and not very attentive. They're not unfriendly, just not especially engaged or warm, which affects the overall atmosphere. There are definitely some highlights on the menu, and I still think this place has potential if they can improve the consistency and refine the service. For now, Sakyura is a hit-or-miss experience--but we're still hoping it turns into the neighborhood gem we were excited about in the beginning.

I was so highly of this place. Many nice spent here many nights of takeout spent here from over a course of many months. I stopped going here for almost 2 months because I decided to cook home more and this was an absolute disaster tonight 50 bucks is 50 bucks. Fine I'll eat it. I don't care about the money. The point of the matter is you stole dinner from me. I had to go to another restaurant because your food was on edible. The dumplings should've been the first sign to me that this was no because they weren't even cooked and I know how Dumplings are cooked. They were sticky and were not cooked at all nor seared no no these are not called potstickers not in this sense. The Sushi, which was another comical site was absolutely atrocious. It was cold in the middle, and there was water oozing from it, which means it had sat out, frozen nor cooked and was not done right And I know any people didn't care tonight. I would've never stopped not mention my order was rushed out never got a notification order was supposed to be done at 8:45 was done at 8:30 something. My dumb luck I ended up at the restaurant early can't say whether I'm happy about this or not, but it shows that the lack of care is evident. I'd usually spend a lot more than 50 here, but I wanted something like this was an absolute train wreck not coming back. Don't recommend. I don't want my money back. Please don't go here.

We went for lunch today. Food and service were both good. It's great to have a good sushi place move into this side of Bluffton!

Soups are fantastic, as are the other dishes--friendly, attentive service in a nicely decorated restaurant.

Hi Everyone, Ya,…read moreknow, maybe you don't feel like bagging your lunch today, or making diner tonight, but you've got to eat! What ever will you do? What type of food do you want to eat, now or later? Questions, questions, those nagging questions. Well we here, in the peanut gallery, may have a solution for you today. If you enjoy eating Sushi (Japanese cuisine, in which raw or cooked fish can be inserted into or be placed a top a rice roll with other ingredients). Now I thought that Sushi was ONLY raw fish (which I know you knew, but I didn't, lol), and Sushmi which I thought was actually only cooked fish inserted in, or a top a rice roll, with other ingredients, such as seaweed, cream cheese, imitation crab (I.e. pressed white fish) etc... But, bust my buttons, Sushmi is actually Hindu female name, not a name for Asian cusine, which means welcoming or pleasant, (which I know you knew, but I didn't, lol), but I digress, along with some other Chinese classics then we can highly recommend you visit AKOMEYA right here in Bluffton, SC. Why? Because my friends, their food entrees are actually very savory and delicious treats. Their ambiance is inviting, neat, and clean. Their Servers are friendly, personable, and helpful. Their prices are affordable, that's right, as in, most of us can actually afford to pay for them. For instance, they offer four lunch (ONLY) Chinese meals that are relatively healthy as prepared with a delicate balanced of ingredients that are tastebuds delight. And yes, Jethro, them there "viddles" will fill your belly and keep you a comin back for more helpins! But for how much? $10.00 per entree. Now that them their is an affordable price for lunch, even for Jethro da Bodeen. Their diner menu offers many delightful and tasty tantalizing entrees as well which we have also have enjoyed multiple times. So if you have a hankerin for some good viddles like our man Jethro, it's time to get on down to AKOMEYA and git sum. BTW, Akomeya is also a specialty rice shop with locations at many major train stations in Tokyo. Although rice is their main focus, they also offer an impressive selection of kitchen goods, condiments, and snacks--making it a must-visit for cooking enthusiasts or anyone in search of thoughtful, Japan-made gifts (which I know you knew, but I didn't ). Enjoy!

I ordered pizza along with my son, and while the flavor was very good, the crust leaned a bit on the limp side. Still enjoyable, just not as crisp as I prefer. Service was friendly overall, though our waitress mentioned she hadn't tried anything on the menu when we asked for recommendations, which was a little surprising. The atmosphere is really what makes this place shine. It's in a great location, perfect for relaxing after a beach day, and the live music added a fun, upbeat vibe. It's also a solid spot for watching sports, with plenty of screens and a lively crowd. A couple of the TVs were off or not working during our visit, but we were able to see the game we were looking for. Despite a couple of small quirks, the overall experience was excellent -- good food, great energy, and a welcoming environment.
