I attended a concert here tonight (9/17/25). I felt this was a decent venue. There's the stage area and then there's the area where merch booths are and the food area. For food there's pirogies and kielbasa. I really enjoyed the pirogies. I would have preferred them to be panfried, but I completely understand boiling them is quicker. The taste was great. The bathrooms were also clean...at least towards the beginning of the concert. What happened in-between, during and after, I cannot comment on. Overall I did enjoy this venue. I've been to many concerts throughout my years and I've never been to a venue with pirogies! Definitely sets them apart! I'd say the stage area is a decent size too. There's also a balcony area. At the concert tonight, only VIP ticket holders were able to go up there..I'm not sure if it's always like that. I would return for another concert here. Music feeds the soul!

We saw Sam Smith here, and they were great, but the venue was not well organized. I think the show was oversold, we arrived early but were pretty much in the way back - right next to the bar. People who arrived after us were in the vestibule! There's also poor signage to find drinks and merch. Not the performer's fault, but the venue should've been at a lower capacity.

Kind of looks like a school auditorium, but great sound, security, and big space.

The cocktail menu included a selection of martinis, including a pickle martini which I knew I had to get and happy I did so as it was perfectly made. The ambiance was dark and mysterious with various black rabbit themed decorations of art and taxidermy lining the rustic and wooden walls. The bartender was very friendly and service was quick and smooth. The pickle martini itself was delicious and I could've ordered several if I wasn't pacing myself for a longer night ahead. The bar food menu included a selection of cheeses as well as mini burgers which I personally opted for and exceeded my expectations. After the martini and grub we opted for a couple of their draft beers which were also a great choice. By the time we were leaving, the bar was full and there was a lively birthday party being hosted in the back. I'd recommend black rabbit for any type of evening you're looking to have.

Nice place to visit while in Greenpoint. Inside is exactly the way I like it. Dark ambiance. Old…read moreschool booths with swinging doors. Outside is a nice size space for day drinking with a large group Crowd is great, service attentive and they make a mean Moscow Mule. I haven't tried the food yet but am eyeing the pimento cheese next visit!

What was formerly known as Capri Social Club is so normal looking you wouldn't necessarily…read moreunderstand it's cult favorite status in the neighborhood at first glance. Understated would be the best descriptor for this bar known for their PBR's and cheap beer+shot combos. In fact this has been the site of many film sets, chosen for its non regionally specific qualities because from the outside and inside it really does feel like it can be as much a bar located in a town many states over as one right here in Brooklyn, a little out of place among the new buildings and new age cocktail bars that populate the Greenpoint. It isn't just one demographic that you'll find filling most of the seats here either. Different age groups, personalities and backgrounds will find themselves here, much like the makeup of the surrounding neighborhood. A great equalizer of a bar, which is part of the draw. That you can have a raucous conversation with folks you may not otherwise find yourselves rubbing elbows with.

This bar is lame! People keep telling me "oh it's for locals" or "oh, this is a blue collar place",…read moreand I don't buy any of the excuses. It's just not fun, and the thought of it being any sort of "social club" (See: previous name, categorization on Yelp) is complete hogwash. I mean, they do beer/shot combos for cheap. That's cool I guess, but I had quickly learned it's what half the dives are adhering to. I don't care if their draught selection is sparse, what gets me is how tiny the pours are. I do not think it was even a full 12 oz in my little mug. Maybe 10. Can someone measure this out for me? Goodness gracious I don't like paying pint prices to get just over half a pint. Liquor selection blows. It's cash only, which you'd only know from a very small, inconspicuous sign above the register. And to make matters worse, their ATM was down! And they were completely unaware. Goodness gracious, I'd never come back here.
