It's way beyond my expectation. The songs from Anna Egge and her band were so beautiful. It's a type of songs that get my tears but keep me smile. Drinks were standard.

can you believe they fit that many people on their stage? there's even a set of drums back there in the corner (opposite the piano!).

I only stayed for about an hour but they were really nice, not pushy to buy drinks, and the music was great.

A warm comfortable living room sized music venue with some excellent and uncommon beers. A very welcome addition to the area.

So it really pulls you into this sort of portal where you're fully locked in on games and then you look up and its been 3 hours, love it. Drinks are fine but they are a great price. Got the Waaaluigi which was really tasty and pretty unique! The wonder punch was a classic tropical rum drink and good but was a little watery. Absolutely LOVE the music here, both live and regular music through the speakers once the live shows are done. They also have a backyard outdoor courtyard that is perfect for a quick break to touch grass before going back in and screentimemaxxing again

This place is pretty sweet as you enter and feel the inner child/nerd come out. It's great place to bring the boys out to hang out, a place decent date night with your partner and for anybody in general. The employees were nice to introduce me to their specialty drinks and other items. I ended up getting the Appletini which had a somewhat sweet yet sour taste. Pretty good 7/10. I do recommend playing the weather simulator game since it has a bunch of options to play solo and coop. Then there's the box bird game that pins two players to collect as much points as you can. Pretty simple. I did enjoy this fighting game that doesn't require much knowledge. It has your simple lows and heavys and an auto combo. Pork was a great character to play with. Definitely recommend coming here

This happened on the night of the Knicks Championship game. The bouncer that night was Andy. Two of…read moremy friends and I rsvp'd to the watch party where we were rudely turned away at the door. The reason was fake IDs. We are 28, 26, and 24. Also, we were sober and properly dressed; Andy specifically said our IDs were fake. I have a Michigan license that I renewed to get a Real ID this January, my friends have a Wisconsin and Arizona license that were also valid. Andy barely looks at our IDs and says "nope, nope, and nope." We're stunned to say the least and they asked if we wanted a second opinion. We of course said yes and we saw them walk in, not talk to anybody, walk about, and said "they said I'm okay (to turn u guys away)." We also thought it was because of our out of state licenses (which would've still been shitty), but then Andy did this "fun" little show and tell game where they took this persons ID from Colorado and compared it to ours (again our licenses were from Michigan, Wisconsin, and Arizona). Andy could not give us a straight reason on why our IDs were fake because yanno THEY WEREN'T! So we left! If they really thought our IDs were fake then why weren't they taken from us? After that, we went to a bar maybe 300 ft from C'mon Everybody and got in just fine AND got drinks. Same at the bodega down the street because crazy enough; our IDs are all valid and real! I will happily come back to show my ID again to educate the staff at Cmon Everybody on what a valid license looks like from Michigan. I am also seeing other reviews of people getting turned away for "unacceptable IDs" so this is obviously a continuing issue. Do better.

I'm shocked it took me this long to make it to Gowanus' most famous vegan bar. And when I finally…read moredid, it was for a special event vegan BBQ in their outdoor space. It was far too hot and humid, and I made the mistake of coming directly in office clothes. But the vibes were excellent, and the faina with mushrooms was incredible. My last experience with faina was having it as the base of pizza a caballo in Buenos Aires, and I had spent many years looking for this delectable chickpea pancake. It was even better than I remembered, here served under charred lion's mane mushroom.

Most of the dishes followed a simple and clean kind of flavor profile, but were hit or miss. All of the dishes were quite small. Celeriac - probably the best dish of the night. The celeriac was cut into strips and seasoned with soy sauce, vinegar, sesame seeds, and a mild but floral Sichuan peppercorn oil. Larb - also nice, with a bright fish sauce stand in and crunchy lettuce alongside spicy and soft mushrooms. This was the most expensive dish on the menu though the portion was still quite small. Rice - definitely just a step up from plain rice due to the scallion oil. But this somehow managed to miss the mark as there were several uncooked grains. Also priced at $9, which seems a bit much for what it was. First frost cozy - kind of unbalanced. It tasted a bit like a jungle bird cocktail to me as the yellow wine and cocchi Americano mixed with some of the fennel cordial gave a tropical fruit kind of effect. However, the taste of the wine totally overwhelmed the sesame washed whiskey. This is what I ordered to start, but felt like I needed another dish, so I added the roasted peppers and tofu. This one was a total flop - the roasted peppers were just that, and the tofu was totally unseasoned in places leading to an almost chalky effect. It was a little better when some chili oil entered the mix, but still was pretty underwhelming. I had a pretty slow experience with service sitting at the bar - it took 20 minutes for someone to even give me a menu, and the rest of the meal moved at a glacial place. The space is pretty, but the DJ's volume turned up quite a bit towards the end of the night and made the place start to feel like a loud cocktail bar. All of this came to $102 after tax and tip, which felt unreasonably expensive for the mixed experience. Maybe I'll go back for the standard menu someday, but I'm not in a rush to try it.
