They want too much of the money up front which seems to make them lose interest. 90% before the job is done. This star value could change if things look up. Update: Job was finished and work was done well. Continue with having the company credit us on the final bill for the air conditioner repair we already paid for. We have the pictures of their worker standing on the unit and the dent it cause. The salesman that does the estimates are very professional and make you feel like the company knows what they're doing. But not an actual representation of the workers and billing department. I will change the rating to a 3 because the work was good.

We needed 3 west-facing windows replaced. I asked for quotes for just the windows and then…read moreinstallation as I have friends that are contractors who could install them if it made sense. Well...the quote for the windows was $5k. The quote to install them was $8k on top of that! Are you kidding me? After I stopped laughing I arranged to buy the windows but wanted to have Lifetime measure them to make sure that was done correctly. That price was $750 to come out and measure 3 windows! Begrudgingly I paid that just to be safe. The guy that came out to measure told me to just let them know if we had any install questions. The largest window came in two pieces. I reached out to find out if Milgard provides any kits or best-practice instructions for "mulling" the windows together to ensure a tight seal. Reached out again. And again. Finally got a call back to say "we're waiting on the Milgard rep and will get back to you"....well that never happened. Windows were installed and they are fine but the severe lack of follow up up by a company that will quote you $8,000 to install 3 windows left a very bad taste and we will look elsewhere for future window needs. RESPONSE TO OWNER: Sir, no amount of training, experience or insurance justifies $8,000 for installing 3 windows and your company's quote was nowhere near competive. I got two other quotes from outfits just as reputable as yours that were several thousand dollars less so you can step down from the pedestal....you're not the only reputable game in town. I would not be posting this review if the issue was soley cost. I can always go elsewhere for windows. Nor was I holding you accountable for installtion challenges. I was mainly holding you accountable for not following through when we were promised assistance with questions. There you failed. The main question was simply to ask if all the parts were there for the install. And since you didn't deliver my screens with the window delivery (I had to call back for those too), I'd say it was a valid question. BTW, being someone who mainly just posts negative reviews doesn't suggest anything about me or the honesty of my reviews. This is a disappointing review to write because I was initially really happy with them, and the…read moreexperience went downhill pretty quick. We used GM for both siding and exterior paint, at first they were extremely communicative, friendly, and the siding project itself seemed to go fine other than a few mishaps. With the siding, we loved how it looked but the work crew lacked professionalism. They left nails all over our yard, ripped bushes out of the ground on a carefully lined walkway, and pulled our front bushes down so aggressively they've never come back up and will have to be ripped out. The nails were a huge concern because we have a dog, and had we run one over with a mower that could have been dangerous for us as well. Months later we are still finding them. The contractors did compensate us for the bush they trampled. On to the paint. The painting contractors were awful from start to (never really) finished. They were unprofessional, left things in our trees and bushes, left garbage around our house and yard, trampled the bushes we had just replaced from the contractors (we weren't reimbursed this time), moved our fence post to a crooked location that we can't fix. Beyond that, we had a dark gray color with white trim, if you've ever painted over a dark color with white you know you have to have MANY coats to not have seep through of the darker color. For some reason, they painted all of it the dark color and then went over the trim with white, so in many areas you can see the bleed through of the gray. It looks tacky and like we DIY'd it. Additionally, we asked for the garage to be painted white and they painted it dark gray like the house.. when we asked them to fix it, they didn't open it to paint so as soon as we opened the garage it cracked on the bending panel and the insulation came out. I got in contact with the contractors right away and Kara said she would send someone out. She didn't, and that was now almost 3 months ago and they've completely ghosted us with a broken garage. They've also left their porta potty in front of our house this entire time (3 months and counting). Our neighbors across the street also hired them for siding and paint and they've also completely ghosted them for the paint. We initially would have recommended them but they ended up screwing us over so I'd go anywhere else.
