I found Red Diamond on Yelp and called them because of the high ratings posted. Amparo came to my house prepared. We discussed what I wanted and options I might consider. When unsure about choices, she said she would write up the estimate broken down so I could consider my options carefully. She gave me ideas I didn't even consider. I was also looking to get the job done before family event so my deadline was tight. Her estimate came in the next day and was very competitive, and compared to the other bids I had received, we were getting fantastic value. We accepted the offer and her team came out early the following week committed to completing the job before my deadline. The team did a fantastic job, exceeding my expectations. I was particularly impressed with the construction of the three gates I called for. Two side gates were especially attractive, and a double 10 foot gate in the back was very well constructed with 8 inch square pressure treated posts and a steel frame supporting the structure. I am planning on using the Red Diamond team for additional projects on my property and would enthusiastically, recommend them to anyone. read more

I chose Red Diamond Family Constructions to re-do my deck that was in bad shape. Amparo, the business manager, was really helpful from the start and helped me understand all the options and pricing. She helped so much with all my questions all along the process. They did a beautiful job constructing a new TimberTech deck for me! I love the results! Excellent value compared with everyone else I looked into (which was a lot!). Kind, professional, listened and responded to my requests, and great quality service from their whole team! read more

Great experience with our retaining wall & cedar fence project with Red Diamond. Amparo (business manager) was excellent with communication & provided a fair quote with transparent pricing. She answered all my questions and was patient with follow-up questions. The crew (Roberto & Cipriano & others) were kind, professional, went above & beyond. They helped haul out a large shrub in the way, make adjustments as needed with the project and communicated along the way. Would highly recommend! read more

Quick and easy to work with. Excellent prices and I really like knowing I am supporting a family owned business.

Red Diamond Family Construction did a great job on our fence project. We needed 4 posts replaced and some fence boards replaced/relocated. Amparo handled all communications including estimates, scheduling, and invoicing. Her bid was competitive and solid. We were charged exactly what was quoted...and her team was outstanding. Who could ask for more?? Don't hesitate to use Red Diamond. We did have to wait a bit to get on their schedule, but it was worth the wait. :) read more

Fast and cheap. Company was very responsive and work was scheduled very quickly. I am very happy with the work

They are so good! I've used them on two separate occasions. Speedy and very high quality work! Would highly recommend.

The team did a fantastic job on our fence posts and removal of our old fence. Great communication, excellent quality of work and attention to detail, and the team worked extremely hard while they were here to get the project done quickly. All that and a very fair price. We would 100% use them again and recommend to others. read more

Super great team. Professional and super kind. Amparo is a great communicator. Even through my deck build project took longer than expected, I am very pleased with their work. It progressed quickly but just a bit bigger of a scope than they initially anticipated. The ease of working with them really stands out and made the experience relatively stress free which is an absolute home run for any project! Already inquiring with them about more work. read more

I'm really glad that I chose Red Diamond Family Constructions for my deck and fence projects. The crew was friendly, professional, and detail-oriented. I had several contractors came over for estimation, and Amparo was the only one brought the deck samples to show us in person. She was very knowledgeable and patient to answer all my questions, and took notes of my requests. The crew was very accommodating. They helped me transplant several rose bushes that were in the way of my new deck to the side yard. The fence and deck came out exactly the way I wanted. I will definitely hire them again for my next project. read more

This family owned business has been amazing! We had them build us a new gate (11 foot wide!) for our driveway, as well as replace a 80 or so foot run of 3' high chain link with a 6' high cedar fence when we moved into our recently purchased 1910 farmhouse, and we loved it so much we had them come back, and replace the front fence on our other side of the house! Each time they were quick to schedule, fast, and built an amazing fence and cleaned up after themselves. And were polite, and sociable. We had a few issues shortly afterwards that were not their fault, but they came back, and added an additional latch for the inside of our side gate, as well as repaired a leaning post at the gate (Due to high winds, and poor concrete of my driveway) for no issues! Haveing them come back for some other additional work this week! Of did I mention they undercut all the other quotes we had been given??? Pick this family owned business if you need a fence, a deck, or anything you need!!!! read more

Have been wanting to extending my patio fence for a while. I know it wasn't a big project, so I was afraid that companies may not want to take it on or would want to replace the whole fence. Red Diamond was quick in giving me an estimate, friendly and gave me many options to choose from. It was clear that they have been doing this for a long time and appreciated their expertise suggestions. She was able to fit me in the very next day since they were doing another project nearby and mine wouldn't take long. I will be using them again to finish up another project later this year! read more

Had them do a patio cover for us. Their bid was extremely reasonable and worked with us on keeping us on schedule after a big snow storm. I am more than thankful I found this company! I was calling around for someone to remove trees and put up a fence within the same week due to an appraisal we had to move on quickly. They where able to get me in within a few days, came out did an estimate for free and I jumped on it! They gave me a fair price compared to other companies I had spoken to over the phone. When they arrived this weekend, they called me to verify they where on the way and eta. They worked fast to get my project done knowing we had to finish the rest of the backyard after the fence was up. Left everything super clean before they left and where friendly! They asked about details I didn't consider and loved that they where so detail oriented. I would highly recommend them! Ps. Safety first, they did wear masks! read more

Highly recommend! They were lovely to deal with and reliable. We had a small issue with something over a year later, and they immediately came out and fixed it, no questions asked. It's so rare to find a company like that these days! read more

We have been wanting to redo our deck since we purchased our house 5 years ago, but life always seemed to intervene. After our daughter hurt her foot on our old ratty deck, we decided it was time to act. We put together a wish list (replacing deck, extending it out, adding a cover, etc) and shopped around for quotes. Red Diamond stuck out as a top contender right away. Amparo came over to get an idea of what we wanted and put together a quote promptly. She designed it in such a way that we could build modularly if costs started to get prohibitive, and gave us different pricing points for products. She never tried to upsell us, only provided us with the facts and both my husband and I are deeply appreciative of that. We finally settled on replacing the deck with composite planks and adding a cedar cover. The crew had the job finished in 4 days, and we could not be happier. We plan on hiring them again when we are ready to add railing and build the extension. Please do not hesitate to use Red Diamond. You will not be disappointed! read more

Our home is for us a very special place and it has been that way for 22 years - already! It is a modest 3 bedroom ranch style home built in 1964 on a 1/3 acres lot. We moved in with the resolve to "create a place in which to create." Art, flower gardens, veggie beds, good times, friendships, and peace of mind. Over the years, lots of DIY maintenance and improvements. We and the house made it through so many ups and downs of the housing market. And by 2021, the market for homes was way up, so selling definitely was under serious consideration. A real estate agent we trust gave us a list of what best to do to sell high and fast. Given that we have maintained the home very well, i.e. roof, exterior paint, windows, privacy fence, furnace, bathrooms all were in very good shape - so the "do it now" list was rather short. At top of the list was a new and larger deck connecting with the spacious backyard. This required the complete removal of a (16' x 10') existing deck, and a separate small (8' x 5') porch-like platform. We scratched-out some designs, added dimensions and went to Angie to get it all going. We met with four contractors, all impressed us as being knowledgeable, competent, experienced, and all had excellent customer reviews. Price was certainly an important element in our decision to go with Red Diamond Family, and in deck construction the complexity of the design and the type of decking material selected makes a huge difference in the total coast. Amparo, from Red Diamond Family, very carefully and sensibly reviewed our design with us, asking good questions, and giving us good info regarding the material choices, i.e. the durability of the various composite deck planks, the appearance, the differences in installation methods and hardware, AND(!) the availability of materials in these times of high demand and supply-chain snafus. Also a very key factor in our decision was the fact that Red Diamond Family could/would put us on schedule to start construction within 10 days of our meeting with Amparo. The process from that meeting forward was as professional, fully documented, including payment and construction lien notice requirements as required under Oregon law, and as timely and well-managed (no surprises, no change orders, no delays) as any such work we have have ever had done involving three homes (in Mpls., Denver and Portland) over the course of our home owner experience. I wish I could include fotos in this review, it may have saved a thousand words! read more
