Miguel was AMAZING to work with. He was super knowledgeable and had great product recommendations based on years and years of experience. His team tore off our old roof, re-sheeted and re-roofed our house. They also installed brand new gutters. His price was great and the quality and attention to detail was even better. My particular project took 3 days. At the end of each day they had a guy with a leaf blower cleaning up everything. They even brought their own trailered porta-potty. Very professional crew. We even recommended to our neighbor and they ended up using Exterior Care PDX for an entire new roof and gutters as well just a few days later! My gutter was leaking in a corner and I thought the facia board was dry rotted. Miquel came out to give me an estimate and after checking it out determined that the gutter was leaking, but the board didn't have dry rot. He told me he could reseal it right then and there for what I considered a very reasonable price. I was very pleased with his honesty about the board not being bad and the job he did! read more

In the past, Miguel and his crew had been helping our old wood shake roof stretch out it's life as long as possible. When it came time to replace the roof, Exterior Care was one of 5 bids and we knew we wanted Miguel's team on the job almost immediately. His prices were competitive, but above even that are the intangibles that come with working with a great contractor. Miguel is an excellent communicator and is always straight forward, honest and very responsive to the customer. He doesn't have a "sales pitch" vibe to his personality, he just tells it like it is and explains everything that needs to be done. He went above and beyond to keep track of production of the shingles we wanted in this crazy market. The installation of the new roof and skylights went perfectly! I hired Miguel to fixing leaking skylight and plumbing vent on a tile roof. He replaced 2 skylights, and built new curb mounts as well as replacing the rotted portion of plywood. Installed new flashing and roofing under layment. his crew cleaned the moss debris and replaced some of the tiles that where cracked. He and his team were professional. Hired for moss removal and treating the cleaned roof to inhibit future moss formation. They hand scraped the moss, then cleaned the gutters and ground of debris and applied the treatment offering a 2 yr garentee. The roof now looks like new and the cost was competitive ( I got 2 other quotes). They also chalked our 2 skylights at no charge. I have to say I'm very pleased with the work they did and definatly recommend them. read more
