I love pickleball. I love chicken. Naturally, I love Chicken N Pickle…read more This place is just plain fun. One of the best things about pickleball is that almost anyone can play. You don't have to be a world-class athlete to have a good time, and that's part of what makes it so addictive. My first visit was with my wife and some cousins and aunts visiting from Iowa. We spent the afternoon playing a few spirited games of pickleball--which I absolutely dominated, for the record--while enjoying some snacks and drinks before heading inside for dinner. The food was surprisingly good. I'd describe it as elevated bar food that actually delivers on the flavor. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was energetic without feeling overwhelming, and the entire place just had a welcoming vibe. We'll definitely be back... and back... and back. Anyone need a doubles partner?

The atmosphere is what really makes this place stand out. It's open, energetic, and gives everyone options--whether you want to jump into a game of pickleball, play cornhole, or just relax on the lawn and chat. It made networking feel natural instead of forced. The food and drinks were both great, but what impressed me most was the staff. It didn't matter who we asked for help--everyone was friendly, attentive, and happy to assist. That level of service really elevated the experience. If you're looking for a fun place to host a team-building event, networking mixer, or just hang out with friends, I highly recommend Chicken N Pickle. I already can't wait for our next team event here!

Overall we had fun, the facilities were clean, and the staff were helpful when needed. I purchased the gold pass and said I'd play a bit but didn't need everything like my daughter for a total of $42 for both of us. I'm not sure exactly what I got charged for because I didn't keep the receipt, rookie mistake. It was a busy Sunday and lots of parties happening so there were literally children of all ages everywhere. I didn't even get to jump out of fear of bouncing a kid to the ceiling on accident. I noticed that that staff within the trampoline areas simply march around and pace back and forth I suppose looking for children to assist. However for the most part they were just getting their steps in and not really paying attention. Additionally a few not all looked super unapproachable and would smile at all. There was a girl with bangs who was working the rock wall, and assisting with harnesses, she was super cool. She made sure kids were smiling and offered tips for the structures and always had a smile. So we'll be back and hopefully on a less busy day so I can jump too...

The clip that hangs from the ceiling was too damaged to hang much on it. The table was also beyond damaged. I felt bad having my son hit anything on that table for fear it would crumble. I also have no clue if they wash the gloves and face masks in between uses. It didn't feel like it to me. Also to note for families that bring their kids, they leave everyone's writing on the walls which can have some explicit language on it like ours did. But my gripes actually began at the beginning of the experience. If you weren't ready to rage when you enter this building, I'm sure the front staff will help you get to that level like they did to me. Maybe that was the point? I was never told the suits we have to wear would be additional charges. I also wasn't told that if I paid in cash it would be cheaper. Paying an extra $25 for paper suits was shocking. I went back to my reminder email and there was nothing of the sort within it. I assumed the paper suits were included just as I have been to other rage paint rooms. He told me I could leave and go to the Bank of America down to the street since I was early, to my response: if I leave I'm not coming back here. Additionally, I was extremely embarrassed when this same individual, walked over to me as I was picking out sizing for my son, and pointed to the suit and said "that size will be for your son and this size will be for you" pointing to the 3x sizing. I not only don't wear 3x but for him to come over at me and tell me in that way I was mortified. I would have also figured out what size I was and my son on my own and realized that they do not have all sizes. I don't need someone to tell me what they think my size is. Alas, I was in a 3x suit and swimming in it and tripping in it in the rage room. This was my experience and my opinion however I try to always give some insight to the owner as well to hopefully change their practices to help out us customers. Starting with the reminder email and letting the customer know about the extra charge of suits and cash only/credit with a fee system and that not all sizes were on hand. Lastly, the front desk associate needs to be properly trained on how to speak to customers and make them feel welcome. Especially at a place like a rage room.l

Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park is not a "quick stop" zoo -- it's a full-on adventure…read moreday. First of all, this place is massive. You need time, comfy shoes, and realistic expectations because there is SO much ground to cover. Zoo, aquarium, safari park -- it really does feel like three attractions in one. The aquarium section honestly surprised me. That massive prehistoric-looking fish (looked straight out of a dinosaur era) was unreal. Between the giant tanks and the variety of species, it didn't feel like a small add-on -- it felt like a legit aquarium experience inside the zoo. The animal variety is wild. We saw everything from vibrant macaws perched up high greeting guests, to monkeys lounging in the sun, to antelope practically close enough to admire their horns in detail. The white tiger was stunning, and the big cats pacing in their enclosures definitely command your attention. You're not just looking at one or two showcase animals -- there's a LOT here. It's not super polished or ultra-modern like some major metro zoos, but that's kind of the vibe. It feels expansive, a little rugged, very Arizona. More spread out, less theme-park aesthetic. A couple things to note: it can get warm and it's a lot of walking. Food options are typical park-style fare -- nothing I'd go out of my way for. Pricing can add up with admission and extras, so plan accordingly. Overall, a solid four stars. If you're looking for a full day with serious animal variety -- from aquarium tanks to safari species to big cats -- this place delivers. Just come prepared to explore.
