Hot air balloon Christmas gift to my mom
    Michelle W.

360 Adventures has a huge variety of things to do. Whether you live in the Phoenix area or are visiting, want an extreme adventure or a family outing you should check out their website. They offer everything from Kayaking and rock climbing to Grand Canyon tours. If you want to get out, give them a call and they will set you up with a tour you will always remember. The first tour I did with them was Canyoneering and it was an experience like no other. They even took some great pictures of me repelling off a waterfall! I loved it so much I went back to them to sign up for a hot air balloon ride (a Christmas gift for my mom.) A champagne brunch was included. I have also done the Sedona horse back riding and Sedona jeep tour. All highly recommended.

360 Adventures private rock climbing was a fantastic experience all-around. Matt was an excellent guide- patient, energetic, and caring. I have never rock climbed outdoors before, but wanted to experience beautiful Arizona so I thought why not try it on a weekend trip down there. I am so happy I did it! At first scared, working with Matt I was able to conquer a few different climbs increasing in difficulty with each one. I was happy that I challenged myself and experienced something different and new. It is very pricey especially if you are going solo, but worth it if you are interested in new experience and adventure. Arizona is the perfect place to rock climb due to the beautiful mountainous regions and warm weather. Would highly recommend! TIP: Go early in the morning, the Arizona sun really get to you by noon! TIP: FYI- There will be insects and bees!

5 of us had a great time canyoneering with 360 Adventures. Our guides were technically knowledgeable and also knew a lot about the area and its history. They took photos all morning and shared them after the tour - very nice since often they were positioned to take much better photos than us. The canyoneering was a fun mix of rappelling, hiking and climbing. It was beautiful day. We plan to go back in the spring when we can do the same thing in water!

It was my first time mountain biking in Sedona and I knew I had limited time in the area and didn't want to waste any time trying to figure where or what I could ride.

Dief, the owner, is a great guy and let's climber/caver groups come in to practice in his gym, I really appreciate the community vibe here. I would say this is an older gym so things are a bit worn down but the vibe here is great. Very welcoming and close to the ASU campus so lots of college students here. I wish their bouldering section was bigger and this is where BP spoils me. BRG up north also has way more bouldering options, but keep in mind, BP and BRG are solely bouldering gyms. Alta out in Chandler and Gilbert also has way more bouldering options too but it's a much newer gym. Overall, a very solid climbing gym and you can feel the community vibe here. I'd definitely come back here again to climb, train, etc.!

Big shout out to Coach Isiah, who totally committed at my daughter's birthday party and somehow held his own in a tug of war against six very determined 8 year olds. The kids adore the staff and it really shows in how excited they are to go back each week. The gym is always clean and surprisingly smells fresh, which is impressive considering how many sweaty kids are running around. I also like that membership includes open gym time. The one downside for us is that there aren't make up classes if kids miss due to illness. With elementary school kids getting sick fairly often, that can be a little frustrating, especially given the price. Overall though, it's been a really positive experience and my daughter is having a blast.

I suspect the monthly price is actually ridiculous, but that's up to you to decide because I'm not paying! Ok let's talk about the bad things first, and they're not bad enough to lower it from 5-stars: 1. The place gets busy. Too busy, in my humble introvert opinion. Not much you can do about that, but avoid peak hours. 2. Every other gym I've gone to uses tape to mark their routes, which means any route can use any climbing hold. At this gym, they color code them BY THE HOLDS, and then the route difficulty is by color also, which means there are lots of cool holds that you'll never get to touch simply because they're a different color from the difficulties you're doing. This does limit the variety somewhat. Ok, everything else is good. The facility itself has like, everything. I don't even want everything - I just want to boulder. But they've got a vast outdoor area to relax or play in, studios, weights, and some wild varieties of climbing gear. The bouldering area is very large, with all kinds of features that I don't even know the official names for, but you can climb over and under and around pretty much any type of scenario you could want. The mats are premium, and they have down-climb holds in a lot of areas which is great for people like me who try to avoid higher-impact falls. While I do appreciate the hole-in-the-wall grungy gyms where things might be a little more personal and less crowded, I honestly think you'll have trouble finding a better climbing gym than this, anywhere.

Apon arrival we checked in and signed our waivers. We had to purchase socks and at 4.99 a pair - this feels like a cash grab.. I digress. It was after lunch and we were all hungry so we ordered two pizzas. Now for $25 a pizza I'm expecting a decent sized pizza and with quality toppings etc. unfortunately our pizzas came out burnt and were very small for$25.. the staff also gave us grief about ordering another pizza because " we already had two why do we need another" words from staff. Unfortunately this really bummed me out considering we are here for my sons birthday!! I let this go in the moment because the place was staffed with just teenagers and all of them had attitudes so I wasn't going to complain to them when I doubt I would have gotten any real help. This location itself doesn't have that many attractions like the website shows the other locations having more options like slides etc. the foam in the pits were old looking and lots were torn into making it seem a bit more dirtier.. some of the courses had broken parts that didn't work exactly how it should have. Over all for my sons birthday party being held here in still super disappointed in the treatment from staff and the lack of care for the equipment there. The main staples are still there - rock climbing wall, dodgeball court, jousting, basketball, gymnastic bounce/pit, and main trampoline area. The tall towers, harnessed trampoline, gravity wall, skywalk and miscellaneous arcades remain as well. But they've added a massive amount of climbing areas, general seating, and party rooms. The kid/toddler play area is pretty massive in itself - about as big as other places' main areas. But they'll they have a massive four level main climbing area. Truly massive. They also added an obstacle course that is pretty big and nice. The party rooms look very nice as well (previously you'd just have a table on the side). Here on a Sunday and they have the NFL games on for the parents. Lol. The bad. The bathrooms are crap. Either missing doors, without TP, or without paper towels. Floors are a bit dirty looking -could use a buffing clean. As for price, get the Groupon! Do not pay full price you schmucks. We literally bought ours while at the desk.

We drove up to Dobbins Lookout, and that's where it really hits. Phoenix spreads out in every direction, a grid of life pressed up against open desert, with mountains rising in the distance like they've been quietly watching the whole thing unfold. It's not subtle. It's big, raw, and a little humbling. What makes this place stand out is how much it offers without trying to package itself too neatly. You can hike, bike, ride horseback, or just stay in the car and take the scenic drive. It works for everyone. We had a mix of people, some ready to tackle trails, others perfectly happy just soaking in the views, and nobody felt out of place. The trail system is extensive. You've got everything from easy, walkable paths to longer, more demanding routes like the National Trail, which stretches over 15 miles and cuts through a huge portion of the park. It's the kind of place where you can come back multiple times and still find something new. We did some light hiking, nothing too aggressive, but even then you feel the terrain. It's not forgiving, and that's part of the appeal. The desert has a way of reminding you to pay attention. Loose rock, uneven footing, the occasional reminder that you're sharing the trail with horses. It keeps you honest. Timing matters out here. Go early. Not just to beat the heat, which you absolutely should, but because the light in the morning does something different. It softens the landscape, pulls out color and texture that gets washed out later in the day. By midday, the sun is in full control and it's a different experience entirely. A few practical notes. Bring more water than you think you need. Then add a little more. Wear actual boots, not something you don't mind slipping around in. And keep an eye on the trail, especially on the multi-use sections. You'll know why pretty quickly. What I appreciated most is how accessible it is. You're minutes from the city, and suddenly you're in this wide, open space that feels removed from everything. No overdevelopment, no forced attractions. Just desert, sky, and distance. It's not polished, and it's not trying to be. That's exactly why it works. Five stars without hesitation.

I most recently stopped by on a Saturday afternoon for a hike. A couple of highlights to share. If you stop by their Visitor's Center, they have a mini museum where you can learn about the park e.g. the animals and plants that inhabit it; the fact that it's indigenous land, and the history of the park. The VC is air conditioned and they also have bathrooms and various pamphlets/brochures you can take with you. From there, perhaps the most famous hike is Holbert Trail. An hour and a half or so on this moderate trail (if you choose this fork in the road) will take you to Dobbins Lookout. The work you put in will take you to one of the most popular nature stops in town offering stunning scenic views of the city. After hanging out around Dobbins for a bit, an hour or so will take you back to your starting point. Making it a three hour hike or so. Beyond Holbert Trail and Dobbins Lookout, you have other cool things to check out at this Park. And all of it is for free. With easy parking. Enjoy!
