My wife had a mixed drink and I had a draft beer served right away. Some specials were gone but we did not care. We ordered the steak tip salad and a Greek salad. The folks next to us all had pizzas which looked awesome. The steak tips are fantastic. The waitress did admit she was a little tired but she was so friendly and welcoming her service was excellent! Hole in the wall place. Decent pub food. Nothing fancy. Would be a good place to sit at bar and watch a game. Bar prob seats about 15. Walked in without reservation on a Sat nite around 530 pm. Sat right down and within 1/2 hr the place was jammed. Waitress was very nice but got bogged down due to rush of patrons. Apps were Buffalo tenders which were good. Steak and cheese egg rolls were ok and most likely frozen . Chick Parm sandwich was good and plentiful.Comes with steak fries. I prefer the thinner style of French fries. Grilled cheese was ok. I got the special ...Nashville fried chicken sandwich with onion rings. Was ok ...not too sure if the rings were frozen but were pretty good Overall it wasn't bad but also wasn't anything special where I would rush back. Seems to be a place all the locals eat at. Been married 32 years and never heard my wife praise her dinner like she did tonight!!!! Started with Fish Chowder. Hot, thick/creamy, flavorful and lots of haddock. My wife's Chicken Carbonara was the best she ever had.... And lots to bring home. My Stuffed Haddock was very hot and flavorful. Presentation was beautiful. We had the Raspberry Cheesecake Egg Roll for dessert. I have never seen my wife enjoy dessert so much!! A very homey and comfortable atmosphere. No frills. The review would not be complete without mentioning our server Faith. She was attentive, quick and really treated us well. I'm used to good service at Warrens Place during the day since they have fantastic Bar Pizza but Faith was great tonight!! I wish we had more Stars to grade with. 10 out of 5 Stars!!!! read more

Have been to Warren's a handful of times pretty decent when you sit in the restaurant side. The bar seems to be mostly locals that are pretty clicky in my opinion. This tiny spot is a GEM. It doesn't look like much from the outside (or the inside for that matter) but don't let that fool you as the food is fantastic!! I come here for what I like to call "seafood Thanksgiving." Every Friday, there is a baked stuffed haddock special that I cannot get enough of! It has crabmeat stuffing and comes with two sides. I usually get mashed potatoes and vegetables. Everything about this meal screams "ultimate comfort food" in my opinion. The haddock and stuffing is so soft, buttery and flavorful. The sides are just your basics, cooked perfectly. I could eat this meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner - it's that good! This place also has great pizza. It's bar style, but a bit thicker than your traditional bar style pizza and I just love it. And the martinis!! So many fancy & delicious ones to choose from. Food is great. Waitstaff and bartenders are the best. Never had a bad meal. Thursday night chicken supreme is amazing.

Decided to have a Saturday lunch here. We were immediately greeted and seated, ordered drinks, got drinks the waitress disappeared. 10 minutes goes by and I get up to use the restroom. Surprise our waitress is flirting with a guy. Another 5 minutes wife uses restroom on way back tells our waitress we are ready to order. 20 minutes on a slow afternoon to place an order is unacceptable especially when the reason is the server is making eyes at a patron. BTW food was awesome as usual. read more

I've only had the pizza and it's your average bar pizza. Parking can be tough but the lot at Whole Foods has spaces. Typical local bar. Not a huge selection of craft beer but it is a neighborhood bar after all so expectations on selection are low. I would give it an extra star if the bartenders weren't so flippin rude. If you are a regular they will treat you ok but if you're not, then you can expect crappy service. Only place I've ever walked away from the bar without leaving a tip. read more

I have always been a huge fan of this place. The service has always been great. The food is delicious. The drinks are usually great too. I was in for a late lunch and ordered a sangria. It came out almost clear and tasted like dirty water. I made the server aware of this and asked to change my drink after taking one sip. The waitress said that "this is the same way it's always made and we won't take this off the bill." (I did not ask for it to be taken off the bill when she said this). I have had the sangria there multiple times and it was never like that. It was gross. It is disappointing and then to be told I would be charged for this makes me no longer want to patronize this establishment. Not a good way to keep customers. read more

Finally had the chance to visit Warrens Place and I'm glad we did. I can't believe I live only one town over and never knew about this place! Our waitress was fantastic (I'm only sorry I forget her name!) and the food was also excellent. I had a coke myself but my friend enjoyed the very cold beers (coors light bottles thank you). We shared a basket of onion rings to start (SO GOOD). I loved them, they are perfectly battered and delicious! The Warren Burger was also fantastic and thank you for having good steak fries!!! So many places do not have these fries anymore and these two items will bring me back in again. My friend had the fish sandwich with steak fries (he loved it) and he also grabbed a pizza to go which he said was great. We went midday on a week day and it was pretty busy, I can imagine it's jammed at night but well worth the wait. We loved that he has Keno too. The crowd at the bar was friendly as well as other patrons, it's a real nice neighborhood place that brought back memories for me, it reminded me of the bar my uncle used to own in Quincy that I still miss. During carona virus my children wanted a pizza and pasta. I feel taken advantage of due to take out only service. I received a tiny low quality pizza when I asked for a large. I expected a great pizza they advertise from a neighborhood restaurant. They gave no receipt, napkins or plastic silverware needed for outdoor picnic. The person when I called told me they were not stocked. Very easy going to BJ's to buy plastic silverware. Can't blame everything on caronavirus. The so called manager was rude yelled at me as soon as she got on the phone . I called her miss and she accused me of saying something else to have an excuse not to resolve my issue . I've been here a handful of times. Pretty good bar pizza, loaded potato pizza is good. However the last time I ordered, the pizza was sub-par. The veggie pizza had so much toppings it was litterally inedible and the cheese pizza was dry and hard. Now the reason for my one star review: warrens has been operating as a bar during COVID. They are masquerading as a restaurant by placing small tables next to the bar. The last time I went in (it was a Friday night) there was 20-25 standing around the bar drinking beer. At the time (and currently) bars are not allowed. It made me very uncomfortable. Since they had so little regard to following the COVID rules, it makes me wonder what other health and safety rules they do not follow. Unfortunately they have lost my business. I was hoping for a great bar pizza after watching some interviews featuring this restaurant. The locals of Weymouth seem to adore it. I ordered a cheese pizza well done. Upon opening the box, the pizza was super doughy, almost felt undercooked. The pizza itself lacked in any popping flavor and the sauce, well I'm wondering if there was any. If it's late at night, and you need food, like PIZZA, you can get it fresh and hand made. In some ways its like a bar & a Diner, and you can gamble too. Well, my husband was stuck in the ER for hours and we hadn't eaten and were out of food. NO other pizza places were open. They were. Most places close after a certain time, but this place is open late. I could even bring in my kid late at night. The waitresses are also courteous and nice. If I could I would give this place no stars! The owner Brian is an absolute mental case! He has all his employees walking on egg shells when he Walks in the restaurant. I walked by the side door and over heard him screaming and swearing at one of his employees. Then when I went in you could tell everyone was on edge because he was sitting at the bar drinking. I got a chicken parm and the chicken was completely not cooked!!! I could have gotten seriously sick if I didn't cut it before eating it. I will never go there again. Customer service and atmosphere was good but the food was very poorly put together. I ordered a sub and got a soggy roll where the sub fell apart and tasted like it was pulled out of a bucket of water...with mayonnaise on the side...like i am going to use it as a dipping sauce( asked for mayonnaise on the sub)... After that we got a pepperoni pizza and found hair in it..it could just be the cook that was working this evening but don't think i will go back for their food. Hopefully the managers review their SOPs with their staff and follow proper cook hygiene and chef attire. Hopefully the front of house cares more. read more

Warren's had a lobster roll special this last Sunday, so I got it. $24 with fries & slaw. It was outstanding! Nice firm fresh lobster meat on a buttered grilled roll. It wasn't huge, and I easily could've eaten one or two more. But I had Legal C's on July 4, and it was bigger, for $36. This was better for the money. Legal's lobster was wet and a bit mushy. So far we have only tried the pizza. The thing is, the pizza is that good it's difficult to order something else. I think we need to go more often or maybe try something else on the menu and get a pizza for later. This is very much a neighborhood type place where many of the patrons seem to know each other, yet we felt welcome. The bartenders are great and more than happy to make suggestions on the menu. I thought the food here was excellent. Fish and chips was great....most times you get a long piece of haddock(while they last). The rest of the time it might be cod but its still amazing. Burger was really good and the pizza was great. Service was really friendly and nice. Some items were forgotten but that is probably due to the kitchen...not the server. Called in an order for a veggie pizza from here. Was pretty good, the flavors and texture were great. They even added a balsamic drizzle which I thought was a nice touch. A bit of a long wait time, they said 45 minutes and I only ordered the one pizza but it was a Saturday around dinner time so they were probably getting a lot of orders. This was in late March right after all the businesses were only allowed do take out only, so I can understand if they had hiccups early on while getting used to the new normal. FYI to other users who requested a large pizza and got a small, Warrens only serves bar pizza which comes in one size only. It is a bar after all... (Also says on their menu that all their pizzas are 10 inches). But the staff greeted me quickly as I came in to pick up my order, it was ready and still hot.
