Great little place just off the major roads. They have a great craft beer selection, and a nice patio /beer garden to enjoy it in. I ordered the whole belly clam meal and there was a generous portion of clams. The batter was just right, so you could taste the clams. My wife ordered a shrimp cocktail and was impressed with the bite of the cocktail sauce. read more

Recommended for a superior collection of local & regional draughts. There is a substantial food menu as well. It's a happy, noisy bar. Our server was outstanding and I noticed the other waitress teamed to work the tables. It's a busy, welcoming vibe. My fish & chips were good, and a nice portion at that. Dinner mates also went with seafood. They were very happy, 2X fisherman's platter, one grilled salmon. Draughts came quickly. Yeah, it's maybe not the place for an intimate conversation, but I think you'd be pleased otherwise. read more

Cozy spot with amazing food and friendly staff! This restaurant is a true gem the location is perfect, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. Every single person I've interacted with has been incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is consistently delicious ! I haven't had a single bad dish, which says a lot! I also love the little details, like the signs on the patio such a fun touch that adds personality to the place. The only small concern I have is about pets inside the restaurant. While I totally understand and support pet lovers, I believe it would be more hygienic to keep dogs on the outdoor patio, especially when food is being served. As much as we love animals, they naturally shed fur, and it would be unpleasant to find that in a meal someday. Maybe a good idea could be to offer pet-friendly days or events so everyone can enjoy with a bit more structure. All in all, still one of my favorite places to eat ! I'll definitely keep coming back read more

I live in the area and wanted to give a local bar pie a shot so I ordered a pepperoni pie to go. I have to say I was disappointed in the outcome. The pizza wasn't cooked long enough and was really soft in the middle. Only a couple of the edges got crispy and the pie was overall really greasy. read more

It was our first (& last) time here and my husband ordered the fisherman's platter, and I a burger. Unfortunately, the first bite he took was that of a fried napkin. How a napkin survived the breading process and ultimately being fried in 350F+ oil is beyond me. Props to the napkin company on durability, but not so great for Union Brewhouse. We completely lost our appetites and ended up paying $50 for 3 drinks and a burger I never ate. They comped our meal which we appreciated but they ended up blaming the debacle on the "new fry cook" (sorry newbie!). read more

Look, this is a townie bar, but everyone was friendly, service was great, and they had the best corned beef sandwich I have ever had. (I have had a lot of sub par corned beef.) Taps had a solid selection, too. Kudos to Union House and the staff. read more

They have the best pub burgers and fries, just so reliably good I prefer doing a pickup here to making burgers myself, the onion rings are outstanding too. I have also really enjoyed their fresh fish dishes but when I am here I usually pick a hamburger. read more

I'm have visited several times, while I have been in Massachusetts. I like this place a lot. They have a nice selection of craft beers, the service is good and the food is tasty. I especially like the patio area, because it allows you to enjoy an adult beverage, plus a cigar. I would definitely recommend anyone stopping in, if they are in the area. read more

Food is pretty good. I've had fish a few times, and it's always been good. (fish tacos, steamers, fried seafood platter) Onion rings are outstanding. The one time I had pizza, it was average at best. Nachos, average. Biggest complaint: the beer isn't really cold enough. Just cool. And the last time I went, I asked for a Crown Royal Apple, neat, with a small splash of Fireball. One drink. But the bartender charged me for a CR neat, PLUS a Fireball neat. Charged for 2 drinks. Luckily their drink prices are good, otherwise I woulda been really annoyed. But it did bug me, and I haven't been back since. It's been a few months. read more

Went here tonight for a burger and beer. I wasn't disappointed. When I walked in, almost the entire bar was full, mostly with guys in sweatshirts and baseball caps, talking, enjoying their beer and the Bruins game. I took a small high table and opened my laptop. My waiter, Alex, met me shortly and was excellent. He presented me with a draft list and showed me their list of bottles/cans of 99 beers. That's a lot for a small place like this. I had Alex pick an IPA for me and it was alright - but that's totally fine, as I was trying something new to me. For my meal, I had the Union Burger (cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce) and tater tots. I ordered the burger medium and it arrived well - c'est la vie. They still hit the spot. Alex and the waitress working with him both had great personality and were full of hustle. I'm going to return in large part because of them and the ambiance of the place. Note: the two ladies next to me had the steak tips and RAVED about them. If you like great service, an amazing beer selection, and solid bar food, this is the place for you. read more

Really good selection of local draft beer. Super good fresh seafood, super reasonable prices. Super super! And a little awesome!

Best fish tacos I have had! Packed with fish and fresh vegetables. Highly recommend them!!

The best service and really good food! I had a party of 10 for my son's 24th birthday and I can't say enough about how accommodating the staff was. We had the best time eating and celebrating and I couldn't believe how low the bill was! read more

Union Brewhouse is a wonderful, though I feel, relatively unknown to most. . . pub, right off Route 3 in Weymouth, MA. Easy to miss! I accidentally drove by without ever seeing the outdoor sign, whoops! Let me tell you. The outside of this bar is ridiculously deceiving. From the somewhat limited parking lot the pub looks tiny, leaving the first-timer unsure of if there will be any room at the bar for anyone but the regulars. Open up the front door and you are transported into the warm atmosphere of an updated bar. Very spacious! Advertised as 99 bottled beers and 17 drafts to choose from, Union Brewhouse is not lacking in their selection. Click here for a sample of their beer list: http://www.unionbrewhouse.com/beerclub.htm#beerlist Sat at a small table near a fireplace (of all things) and enjoyed some of the most delectable bar food I have ever had the pleasure of indulging in. Shared a "Union Pizza" (topped with cheddar, bacon, hamburger, and bbq sauce drizzled in a spiral formation) and a "Brewhouse Burger" (topped with ham, salami, and American cheese) with a friend. Delicious! Younger crowd than I expected, chatter filled the room just under the sounds of classic and hard rock filtering out the speakers. Outdoor patio area for those warm summer nights. Televisions out there to watch the games! Really opens the place up. I would like to return here on a busier, later night. . . got here kinda early due to starvation. read more

(Weymouth's very own version of Cheers) the staff the drinks the prices are a win win win I say the bar style pizza is reason enough to stop by (the pizza is delish) my wife swears by the Loaded Tater tots lol I've been coming here for so long I've seen it change owners and survive a global pandemic without losing the neighborhood vibe or raising the prices (adding there own fees) keep up the great work read more

I'm not a local, but I clearly stumbled on this local hotspot, and it was like stepping into a family's welcoming home. The woman behind the bar quickly spotted a chair for me to sit down apart from others, and checked on my to go order. Then I realized a bunch of people knew each other, and the waitress knew the patrons too! They showed each other pictures of the new baby and chatted about which wine to order. Everyone was laughing and it felt so relaxed! Then the food... we had the chicken sandwich, and while it was a little hard to figure out how to make sure I ordered a fried chicken sandwich (it was), it came out perfectly cooked, hot, and crispy! It even had bbq sauce and bacon on it. The tater tots were equally hot and crispy. Highly recommend! read more

I ordered fish tacos and Cajun wings through Yelp. The tacos were SMOTHERED with Cole slaw which I didn't like lol. It made the tacos soggy. So I had to remove the Cole slaw and eat tacos with a fork without the tortilla(which obviously wasn't my intention). The Cajun wings we're ok. Only a few of the wings had Cajun seasoning on them but they did give me an extra side of Cajun seasoning. I think the wings were a little overpriced for what I received. Other than that, delivery was normal. I'll probably order from them again but I will try something else. read more

This place is legit. It's a solid bar with great food. I always get the fish sandwich with chowder and it's crave worthy. Good chicken wings too. A lot of beers on tap. Great place. Great friends. Awesome beer selection. The food is great. Improved over the last three years.

Came in on Saturday night as a group of 3. We waited around 15 minutes for a table as it is all first come first served. We got: - Cajun wings which were very crispy and surprisingly spicy but delicious nonetheless. My mouth was on fire but the chicken was so juicy, I didn't care. - BBQ wings which I didn't have any of but my bf and his dad thoroughly enjoyed them. The sauce was thick and smoky but the wing retained its crunch under all of the sauce. - Chicken Caesar salad - pretty run of the mill. It's hard to mess up a salad, this dish was good and there was plenty of chicken atop the bed of romaine, cheese and croutons. - Cheese Pizza - didn't try it but it was enjoyed by other parties. The cheese was nicely browned and the crust was crispy. - Union chicken sandwich with spicy fries - it was alright in my BF's eyes. The bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce overwhelmed the chicken patty itself. The spicy fries had the same seasoning as the Cajun wings. They were crispy and delicious crinkle cuts. Beer wise, I wanted something fruity and the waitress (who I believe was the only one working and taking orders) was able to recommend me the perfect beer. The strawberry Samuel Smith. It was delicious. The waitress was very nice and seemingly took care of all the customers on her own. I commend her on her knowledge of all the beers in house. The wait for food was a bit long but other than that it was a great overall experience. read more

For the neat freak beer nut who wants to run with the locals, staple yourself to a stool at Union Brewhouse. Upon entry: "Oh man, are you kidding? It's just a Weymouth pub. Great." Upon peeping the extensive brew list, including 20 taps and 99 brands bottled: "Um, what? This is, like, a micro citra hopped in the seedy underbelly of Bowling Green, Kentucky. How are they carrying it here? I bet they charge $10 for a pint... Upon seeing the prices: "... it's only $6? A ROUND ON ME, MY BROTHERS!" Upon drunkenly reviewing the menu: "Deez hannles aren't gunna love themselfs away, yknow? I would like a salad. A Caesar salad. With steak tips annuhnuther beer peez." Upon being rejected: "Okay an oranje jooz peez." Upon sobering up following a montage of folic acid: "Holy shit, this salad is big, fresh and crisp, with tender Romaine and a lemon-heavy dressing that works well with the 6oz of sirloin, seasoned and seared atop the bed. (Editors note: the kitchen sends out slightly under temp. Order up a level.) And it's only $12? That's a meal. May I have one more pint, my good sir?" Upon backsliding in to a lightning fast inebriation: "Somemuddy call me a cab. I'm gunna go to Cennuhfolds!" Upon receiving a backhand from your fiancee: "More oranje jooz peez." Just a really outstanding brewhouse with well above-average fare and a dynamite tap rotation, earns them an easy 4.5 stahhh. Ask about the plaques on the wall! read more

Best place on the south shore to grab a beer or two and it's not even close. Underwhelming exterior gives a good dive bar vibe that leads into a surprisingly roomy interior with a good sized bar, dozen so high tops and a outside picnic Ike area in the back (be forewarned some people smoke back here) Food is bar food quality and doesn't attempt to be anything more. Good nachos and burgers, bar pizzas and fried specials give you enough to chose from. No real healthy options so if you're counting calories you're probably out of luck. Dozens upon dozens of plaques adorn the wall with clever quotes from the patrons (myself included) who've been able to cross 99 beers off a small card. With a constantly revolving draft it's and new canned selections weekly you'll always have a chance to try something new. Friendly and inviting staff, comfortable atmosphere makes this a great place for a beer or two . read more

Found this place on Uber Eats and decided to give it a try based on the good reviews and pictures of the food. It could have been an off day or maybe the food just isn't as good when you get it delivered - but I wasn't super impressed. I got the impression that the pizza was "bar pizza" and would be thin and crispy. Unfortunately I got thick, mushy pizza that was barely cut into slices and all of the cheese and toppings fell off when I picked up a piece. The chicken fingers weren't bad - they had a nice kick to them and the honey mustard was really good. I would definitely go into the restaurant instead of ordering delivery next time. Will give it another shot. read more
