Decided to visit on a whim after seeing a video on social media that currently you can see the costumes worn by the actors in Superman and it was worth the visit. Just fyi, if you want to see David Corenswet's superman suit you have to pay for the lot tour which costs $76. I booked the tour on the spot and it was definitely worth the price and time. The guided tour is about an hour and my tour guide was fantastic. Got to ride around the different stages, lots, behind the scenes areas such as the front of the school for Abbot Elementary. Learned interesting facts about different tv shows and movies that have filmed there such as Netflix's You. Honestly the highlight of the tour was getting to look at David Corenswet's superman suit and cape. Loved the movie and getting the chance to look at the actual suit along with plenty of other costumes worn by different characters was a cool experience. Theres plenty of free street parking available as well and if you opt out of doing the tour, access to the studio store/starbucks is free, so I would check it out as well!

An actual working film studio with a huge studio store, museums and tour exhibits. There's a commissary, a cafe grill that you can visit if you option that on the tour. And they also have a Starbucks. There may be areas that are off limits but only because of filming. You never know who you might see!

I have been coming here for gigs every now and then for a long time. This is by far my favorite studio. Parking lot has enough space between and people are some what respectful to other people parked there. The security people are always helpful and guide me to the right stage. Bathrooms are clean and sets are cool. I love coming here. No complaint.

Words fall short on describing how cool and amazing this place is. So much history, so much amazing spots and so many unique things to try. The tour is so much better than the what is sounds like in website description. We got the tour+ l, 2 hours of guided tour. Upon arrival you enter the building with gift shop right in front, a starbucks and ticketing area. The tour begins right on time, with first 15 minutes in a lounge, full of snacks, bakery and drinks. The begins a WB video, after which you meet your tour guide. Our tour guide Ian was beyond amazing. He was so knowledgeable, so energetic and enthusiastic, made the whole tour extra special. First we went thru the jungle where among other the first Jurassic Park's Trex chase scene was shot. Then we went thru a town area where among others the scene from TBBT was shot, where Howard takes Shelton on scooter ride. Then we stopped at the props department where we saw thousands of movie props, including Agent smith dummies from Matrix, Casablanca's original chandeliers, horror movie props and many many more. After that we drove through the studios at the made up location of Friend's fountain and orange couch. After taking some pics, we were taken to some of the sets and to Studio 25, which was the home of The big bang theory. We got to see how the sets are created, where lights and cameras are hooked, and how sets are decorated to bring the life into it. After that, we head to the NYC area, where we saw the broadway set and the spot where Toby Mcguire did the upside down kiss in Spiderman. Then we head to the mid-west location where we saw many houses that where set for many of famous movies and shows like Young Sheldon, Gilmore girls. The guided tour is at 2 hour mark at this point and we were dropped of at Studio 48 where Central Perk cafe is, and few other surprises including the original Big Bang Theory's apartment set. With tour+ we got coupon for free entree, drink and a side. Food was decent. The central perk gift shop has many memorabilia from the show, plus so many different Friend's swag to purchase. After the meal, you enter the exhibition of Studio 48 that begins with some tribute to scriptwriting. Then there's a section tributing the art department, where they have some original costumes of Crazy Rich Asian movie. Then there's a whole section dedicated to Friends. We already had went to Friends experience in NYC, so we skipped this part. After Friends, comes the big bang theory set, where they have the guy's apartment, the hall between the guys and Penny's apartments. They have photo station here and let you take pick on the iconic couch, and Sheldon's SPOT. Being a hardcore fan of the show we spent a lot of time here. After the set, you walk to a green screen recording area. Here we had the chance put ourselves in Batman's batpod chase scene from Dark Knight. There was another green screen for Harry Porter's broomstick flying. This was real fun to do, as we got experience first hand what it feels like to be an actor in a green screen scene. From there we move on to the sound recording area, where you get to voice Morpheus' blue and red pill scene with your own voice, aka ADR. There are few other options for couple of other movie scenes to do the ADR. The tour of Studio 48 ends here, then you exit and hope on a cart to go back to the building where the tour began. As you walk to this building, you get to see a whole section dedicated to DC movies, including props and seta from batman, bat cave, superman, wonder women, aquaman. There's one spot dedicated to Game of thrones. Then there's a huge part full of Harry Porter props and sets. Finally you exit to the gift shop that we originally see at entrance of the building. The gift shop has swags from TBBT, DC, Harry Porter, Friends and many many more shows/movies. Just amazing and mind boggling!!! After the guided tour, self guided tour takes about 2-3 hours.

If you are looking for something to fun to do that may is unique, this may be for you. I have taken the Warner Bros tour 4 times over the last 10 years plus attended other events on the lot. This lot has so much to see. Each tour is constructed to have some flexibility. So one tour may go left, and yours may go right. We went to the Holidays Made Here tour. It is a great tour for Gilmore Girls fans. I felt that for people who have never been on the tour, you may have felt disappointed. I love GIlmore Girls so I went specifically for this time of year. We start off with a video. Our tour guides then greet us. A group of about 12 sit on a golf cart with their tour guide. We then take off around the lot. We got to walk through a set. Our tour guide never stopped spewing facts the whole way. We stop and walk through Stage 48 to explore costumes and more behind the scenes sets. Take photos in the set of Big Bang Theory and Friends. Then we go to make our way to Midwest Street. We were free to explore the whole area with no restraint. The whole area was dressed like Gilmore Girls set which was filmed originally there. We spent a good 4 hours there. There was so much to do. We decorated cookies at Snookies, Had tea at The Dragonfly Inn, Chopped at Doose's, etc. Had a great time! The only bummer was they had run out of a lot of sizes on merch.

BRING YOUR BIG ENERGY TO THE JHUD SHOW Was selected to be a guest in the audience of a live taping for one of Jennifer Hudson's talkshow. A month prior, I watched her perform live in San Diego with the San Diego Symphony and she talked about her talk show coming up. So, I had to secure a seat!!! Obviously, I'm a J.HUD fan. SELECTION. Pick a date and hope for the best! If selected, an email will be sent out requesting date and how many tickets. Then another 1-3 days for confirmation. Week prior to the show, they will send information of where to go, what to wear, etc. SHOW DAY. Taping starts at 2:15p, check-in is before 1p (Covid tents open as early as 1130a) and you probably do not leave until 4-4:30p. Parking is provided, tents for rapid Covid testing, masks are option to wear during taping (if so must wear the purple ones that they provide). I got a front row seat even though I was towards the end of the line (showing up right before check-in while many people there for hours). The staff will tell you where to sit, not you getting to pick your seat). BIG ENERGY. Bring your big energy, you will need it. There are about 4 acts. Lots of taping and stopping and music and dancing. Yes, DANCING! It was a lot of fun. To see the famous people feet before you. To laugh at the bloopers and everything - JHUD is pretty funny. Lots of clapping... clap before, clap after, clap during breaks... I felt like I was non-stop clapping for a few hours my hands hurt. Overall, had a good time. Got some free stuff. And hope to see JHUD again in the future. Until the next review...

Horror Made here event 2018

In the off chance that an exec sees this, please please please bring back "horror made here". Every year I look to see if the event is back & every year I have to settle with the other local events. Horror made here was interactive, scary, and the best horror event I've ever participated in. Just Start advertising in August, bring in influencers for an event, & I'm sure the event will take off.

Warner Brothers Studios (Virtual Tour) since I can't return in person! Since I don't live nearby in California anymore and I'm not going to visit my relatives, I took the VIRTUAL tour. I recommend you do the same. My photos are screenshots I took during the virtual tour. These are of things that gave me the feel of being there. One photo is my poster from the James Dean movie I own. Another photo is a small sample of my Warner Brothers DVD's. In my mind my review of this virtual visit is not any different than Yelpers Virtual Events with reviews. It's not easy photographing while watching. I did the best I could. Regarding my relationship with Warner Brothers Studios, I lived in California at one time. Take my word for it I've been here. Before when I visited my family in California all the movie and music locations were my destination! Here's a tip; take a Virtual Tour! I'm taking virtual tours now of all the studios from the safety of my home. There isn't enough room nor do I have the desire to list all of the many Warner Brothers film, television and recordings that I love and have enjoyed over the past 70 years! I own digital copies of so many it's in the 1,000's of gigabytes. Recently they have been showing the Looney Tune and Merry Melodies Cartoons on the channel I watch. That's another huge portfolio of enjoyment owned by Warner Brothers. It's my understanding that at this time In Person Studio Tours have been halted due to the Covid Pandemic. I guess I'm not missing anything. I still have the fruits of WB's labor to keep me entertained daily. I can still enjoy a virtual tour. Warner Brothers makes doing that easy online. Their guides are knowledgeable and smiling to brighten my day.

While working I thought about how many people's dreams come true here at Warner Bros Studios. As I was styling a female actress's hair who has come from Guadalajara, Mexico. I ask what is your actor's story. The challenge she said is a thick Mexican accent, and she doesn't read English very well. She had bought a one-way ticket to Los Angeles just before the lockdown to make it as an actor. I asked her, then what did you do? She said she was determined to make it so she practiced her English with her aunt and watched American tv shows during the lockdown. For her, there was no going back. A year and a half later here she is accent and all as a cast member of a Hollywood TV Show. And at the studio, she had dreamed of all her life. She said it's been surreal I loved her story and spirit. The moral of the story - Don't Quit - Keep Dreaming - You could end up at Warner Bros. Peace/love Be A Proud American

One large and one medium. Carlos can accommodate any size shoot. There are background sections available with all lights and grip you can order for your shoot. I brought in all my lighting and grip. The stages were clean and the audio was excellent. They did a lot of prep work to make sure the walls are sound proof. We needed a white background with a make-up room, green room and enough space to stage all of our equipment. CML has this and a lot more. The large stage has three large ready to go backgrounds with Cycs. One is a back background with black Cyc. The other is a white background with Cyc and the most impressive is the greenscreen background. The green screen background is fully back lit. Space lights evenly light the entire background. All you have to do is light your talent and ready to shoot. There is parking and the area is near Walmart, Lowes and has plenty of restaurants that are five minutes away. This is a great location. It is right off the Empire exit on the 5fwy. Easy access for all talent. This is an excellent stage with great management. I highly recommend CML studios.

It looked great on camera and everything was as described and worked well for us - the Leko light that was already hung in the black cyc came in particularly clutch. Communication was fantastic and the grip and lighting gear we rented from CML worked great. The dressing room and kitchen were also excellent - we had everything we needed and plenty of room for lunch. It was great to be able to have off-street parking as well. Carlos was fantastic to deal with from start to finish. I highly recommend and would definitely rent again.
