I had my baby's first birthday here and I was really happy with it. I have passed by here so many times and considered it for a previous event because I thought it was too small of a space for what I needed. I was wrong. The Studio is so spacious and so nicely decorated. They have the tables, greenery, good hoop, dessert and drinks area, outdoor area and bathrooms. They are very accommodating to your vendors and the party hosts are so pleasant to work with. The downside is that there is no elevator which can be tricky when someone isn't fully mobile or if you want to have a vendor upstairs as they might charge extra for stairs. They have host and vendor parking in the back and plenty of street parking for the guests. read more

I have used this venue twice already and I am just so glad I found them. Despite the cute space and the rentals they have, they don't overcharge like 90% of the other venues I have checked out. The staff is both friendly and super responsive. I have used the petit space twice now and their space is very easy to decorate. Violet Cactus is truly a hidden gem in the valley! I was fortunate enough to stumble into this place after contacting other venues in the valley to host my baby shower. I wasn't satisfied with the other venues because of the price and the lack of amenities and decorations whereas Violet Cactus is all inclusive plus you can't beat the price! At a party here recently, I was impressed with the beautiful decor and setting. There was room to mingle, plus plenty of seating. The layout of the rooms led to good flow of traffic as partygoers mingled. There is plenty of counter space to have distinct areas for drinks / dinner buffet / apps / dessert. The projector and screen allowed for easy display of slideshow which personalized the event and spurred great conversation. Nice that the facility was staffed with a nice man available, should any questions or issues arise during the event. Also a plus that cleanup is included. I understand from this party's organizers that the rental price was reasonable. Especially as you can bring your own food and drinks, unlike so many event spaces which require you use their pricey bar and caterer. Easy free street parking. Clear signage. I had my baby shower on September at Violet Cactus Studio, and the place is absolutely stunning, highly maintained, and very pristine. We didn't have to do much decorations except for the balloon. What I also love about the place is that they have supplies available like scissors, markers, and other stuff for parties. The owner, Krystal, was very quick to respond to my questions. Held my baby shower here at the studio side and just want to say this place is amazing! The staff was so helpful from initial communications with all my inquiries, to the tour, and the on-site assistant that helped on the day of. We weren't sure we wanted the assistant but wow she ended up being so much help since we were rushing and running behind on time. The place is so nicely decorated already you barely have to add anything, we literally just added a balloon garland and other small things to fit our theme but that was easily placed in a few minutes. I felt that this venue is such a deal because it comes with so much like the tables, chairs, a dessert cart, flower and hedge backdrop, the guest of honor chair and circle thing for your balloons, fridge, sink, etc... like so much! and I loved that we could bring our own food. This was a plus because I'm Filipino and my husband is French so we wanted to incorporate both types of food. You can even rent certain decor/utensils type things that they have stored in the venue already so you wouldn't need to bring too much if you want to go that route. Everything is so well thought of in this venue like the surround speakers, and they have a place for a bar setup and projector. I didn't use those two but def good to have if you want it .The layout flows well in regards to where you can set up gifts, food and drinks. I loved that the studio is both indoor and outdoor so guests can get some air, but also being that this was in January I didn't know what to expect from the weather so I needed an indoor venue. There's a small parking lot out back that you have to go through the alley to get to, but there's also plenty of street parking in front or around the corner in the residential neighborhood or hold. Honestly this place was so perfect. The only thing is that I wish they would expand to hold more people! Definitely would hold more events here and recommend! read more

Let me just say.. WOW. I hosted my baby's first birthday at the studio and everyone was shocked at how amazing this venue was. It's bigger than what I expected. The tables were already decorated w/ beautiful silverware and the floor was green grass. The walls were covered in green leaves as well for privacy with cute lights on top. There were trash and recycles bins- very clean. Inside was a nice kitchen w a lot of tables and more decorated seats- very home-y. balloon garland we ordered as well was put together nicely and I just loved how the space was HUGE. There was also an upstairs area all the kids enjoyed because of the swing and private room. Thank you SEAN for helping us with setting up and making sure everything was on point before leaving. I hosted my 40th birthday at VC Studio, and let me tell you...when I say that I didn't need to lift a finger, I didn't need do a single extra thing to throw the most beautiful, easy going, fun party ever. Krystal was easy to communicate with on email and on text. If you provide them a list of vendors, they will reach out to make sure they communicate with everyone so that your event will go smoothly. I bought the extra package for place settings, and the place was decorated to a T. I walked in with everything ready to go. The package also came with an event helper and a bartender. They were both so attentive and patient and kind with me and my guests. Although VC gives you all the directions and expectations ahead of time, the staff really help guide you...from bussing to answering questions, to cake cutting, and so much more. And let's just talk about how wonderfully, beautiful this place is. My friends and family couldn't believe such an amazing space existed and kept raving all night about how great the party was! I was looking for a beautiful local venue for my daughter's 6th birthday and found exactly what I had envisioned with Violet Cactus Studio! The space is absolutely gorgeous with super pretty decor, elegant table settings, a gorgeous space, perfect lighting and a great location! Krystal was extremely accommodating from the start, allowing me to spend as much time as I needed in the space before the party and answering all of my questions. She really helped me bring my vision to life! I also love that she supplies the balloons too. One less thing I had to worry about doing on my own! She helped me design the balloons and matched the colors perfectly to our unicorn theme. She also helped me decide where things would go for the party and provided some extra tables and lines too! I also love that the venue provides all the plates, silverware, glassware, linens and dessert trays. So helpful! When I arrived the morning of my party, Krystal and her team were already setting everything up so we would be ready to go. The package I purchased came with an assistant to help me too, and she was amazing! I couldn't have done it without her! We had the entire party set up in 1 hour flat just as guests were starting to arrive and it looked amazing! They really brought my vision to life! The party went perfect and guests had an amazing time. They loved the party and the space! When the party was over, the assistant helped me clean up everything, making it a super fast clean up and load out.
