Christine and her team worked our wedding a few weeks back and they were nothing short of incredible. Christine was our day of coordinator and made sure everything ran smoothly. Any issues that arose day she immediately took care of and I felt so comforted knowing that if we needed something she was on top of it. She goes above and beyond what is expected of her and that's how you know she genuinely loves what she does. Her crew did the lighting at our venue orcutt ranch and it turned out beautiful. They did the bistro string lights and several chandeliers all over to give it some dimension. I would absolutely hire her and her team for any event and especially a wedding. There aren't enough ways for us to express how absolutely thankful we are for Christine! My new husband and I had saved for 2 years for our wedding and we're on a strict budget. Christine made the wedding planning process seem simple and easy! We gave her our budget our style, and our desired guest count and she made sure to keep us where we needed to be. She listen to what we had to say and what we wanted done but she also gave us her honest opinion if we actually didn't need some thing or if we should change some thing to make it easier or better for everyone. She came to our rehearsal, to the location multiple times with us to put all of our ducks in a row, to with the perfect day of wedding coordinator. She didn't just help with coordinating and making sure every little teeny tiny detail was perfect. But she also brought all of the staffing, the bartenders, the lighting, and gave us the best recommendations for rentals and a DJ. First, I'd like to say that this review is very late... almost 5 years late. I don't think I was a yelp user when I got married and used Christine Lalonde's services for my wedding in August of 2012. I was referred to Christine by a friend and I must say that my first impression of Christine was a very positive one. Her excitement and demeanor on our very first phone call was truly contagious and I could instantly tell this woman was passionate about her job and loves to do it. At the time, my husband to be and I were on a budget and we only had less than 6 months to plan a wedding. Christine invited us to her home to do a preliminary meeting with our budget. I thought it was very personal and if felt like a friend who was helping us out. Christine took the time to really work with our budget which was not much to begin with but she quickly got my vision and helped me execute it. The venue we had our wedding at had capacity restrictions but that wasn't a big deal to us. We really had to crunch our guest list down. Our wedding happen to be one of the hottest days of the year and everyone - bridal party included - were running around trying to get things put together. Christine held her composure and was upbeat and positive which I was thankful for. I was late to begin my own wedding since we were taking our time getting ready. I don't recall if we were 30 minutes behind more or less. I forgot the grooms ring in the bridal room and the flower girl and ring bearer were already walking down the aisle. I don't know how Christine did it but she told me not to worry about it and managed to get someone to lend a rind for the ceremony. Husband was none the wiser and was very confused at the end of ceremony when I told him to take his ring off because it wasn't his. Lol! Christine was swift and quick! Her team executed everything I wanted, especially my favorite part the reception. The only thing I would have changed was to keep the free servers that came with my catering package as it probably would have cut back the load of her team working so hard to not only feed our guests but keep them refreshed throughout the dinner as well. There was one small oversight with seating arrangements. Only the tables for immediate family of bride and groom was marked reserved and everyone else could sit wherever they pleased. Which is what We requested. there should've been another small table closest to the building with a bathroom marked reserved for my coworkers - but when my co-workers didn't see such a reserved table they decided to flat out leave instead of look for somewhere else to sit. I think after the wedding I faulted Christine about that but honestly it wasn't any her fault. So what if there wasn't a reserved table for the 6 of them?! Find a seat elsewhere!! Their leaving my wedding was on them not on a stupid table that wasn't marked reserved. I appreciated Christine's help in planning the reception and providing insight on her past experience with the venue and the sunset... we would have roasted our guests if we didn't follow her suggestion of having umbrellas there. Aside from the suffocating weather, we had a lot of unnecessary drama that day - unrelated to Lalonde Events - that left a bitter taste in our mouths and we let it get to the best of us that at the end of it all, we took it out on Christine. My hope is that she knows THAT WE KNOW she did a great job and went above and beyond especially for what we could afford. Thank you Christine! read more

I had my wedding last weekend and hired them for the day of coordination. Alexa (Christine's daughter) was my coordinator. I think she captured my ideas fairly well (keep in mind I had a LOT of DIY ideas that had to be coordinated). She kept coming to me and my husband to make sure we were doing well and to check on timelines, etc. I used their lighting and their staff. I don't have any complaints. I think some people need to be realistic that not everything will be perfect. Mistakes will happen, but the point is that most things should be stress free for the bride. Christine was such a helpful addition to our wedding effort. My now-Wife and I had been pinching pennies for as long as we possibly could, we were trying to go without a wedding planner or a lighting vendor. However, a week or so before the wedding, we suddenly realized that we wouldn't be able to have a successful day without someone's help. Our DJ (DJ Chris Olivas) recommended Chrstine and Memoire Events to us, so I made the call. Christine was incredibly helpful, and understanding of our restrictive budget. She made a few calls, got back to me an hour later, and let me know that she would be able to supply help for our wedding day at an incredibly reasonable rate. We were thrilled. Day of, I was running around with my hair on fire trying to get things together. Chrstine and Co. arrived early, as promised, and their impact was immediate. They got the lighting setup in a diligent fashion, and Christine was instrumental in keeping things organized for our big day. She even helped us crack the whip against another vendor when they were slacking. Long story short, Christine and Memoire Events were an incredible help for our wedding day and things wouldn't have been half as lovely had we tried to go it alone. I hired Christine for my wedding in January at Orcutt Ranch. Christine and her staff made our wedding smooth and (mostly) worry-free. I spent way too many hours trying to find vendors before I hired Christine, but since she has such great relationships and great deals on vendors she trusts, I ended up hiring my photographer, videographer, caterer, bar service, flowers, DJ, and lighting through her contacts. By using her vendors, I saved thousands of dollars and it was definitely worth her prices. Her lighting was beautiful. I was so confident going into my wedding day knowing that all the vendors were extremely familiar with my venue, and used to working with one another and Christine. There was one small problem with the day of, there was a miscommunication with the number of tables we needed and we were one table short. She and her team were able to find another table and set it before the reception, but it would have been nice not to have heard about the problem at all! Christine came out to my home for our rehearsal and helped everything run exactly as it should for Orcutt ranch. She is very throrough and cares about her clients, and I trusted her to ensure that all the vendors would do their jobs well. We hired Christine as Day-of-Coordinator and Lighting Coordinator for our Oak Canyon Ranch wedding in 2017. Christine is a very sweet, enthusiastic person, but we were ultimately left somewhat disappointed in her and the venue staff's performance. Everything started of well when we first met her and went over our ideas for the wedding and she helped find us some vendors. However, things started to go downhill with the tasting. Despite the fact that I previously told both her and the wedding venue chef, Denise, that I was a vegetarian, they completely forgot this for the tasting which was awkward and annoying. It turns out that this would not be the last time Christine forgot basic facts about us and our wedding. Fast forward to our wedding rehearsal, which we had to set up for a time and date that was inconvenient to our wedding party in order to accomodate Christine's schedule. However, we were understanding that there were multiple weddings at that venue that weekend so there were several rehearsals to schedule in a limited amount of time. Fine. But when our 20-strong wedding party arrived for the rehearsal at the venue at the time Christine requested, we were met with the surprise that another wedding party was doing their rehearsal with her at the exact same time. Our large group was told to wait to the side. Finally after 30 minutes of waiting, I asked Christine how much longer it was going to be, since we had a large party with dinner reservations right after. She got flustered and literally told me that we were not actually the wedding party that we said we were (even though we had already met her in-face 3 times!) then finally caught herself and realized that she just screwed up and scheduled 2 rehearsals for the same time. We rushed through our rehearsal and were super late for our wedding rehearsal dinner reservation. Extremely frustrating. On the day of the wedding Christine did a great job with the lighting, but there were still several disappointing coordination hiccups. Our guests had to wait an eternity for dinner to be served, which she explained to us by saying that we were the first wedding she had ever had that had run early and the kitchen was not yet ready with the food. OK, but Christine set up the timeline and itinerary so isn't that her fault? Later, when the dessert was served after dinner the wedding cake ran out before several tables could even get a slice. There would have been plenty of cake for everyone but the servers gave seconds and thirds to some tables before even giving first to others. My entire side of the family never got cake! Not well coordinated! Overall, Christine just seemed stretched too thin to give us the full benefit of her talents. Throughout the wedding planning process she always seemed to mix us up with other weddings that she had coming up. I get it, I guess we weren't that memorable, but after a while it's borderline insulting. The day of the wedding she seemed stressed and borderline panicky. On the plus side, she did a good jobs with the lights, she connected us with several vendors, and her prices are pretty low. I guess we got what we paid for. read more

I would run the other way! I had 160 people at my wedding and Christine was a MESS!!! She had absolutely no organizational skills. My husband and I had met with her 3 times prior to our wedding expelling what we wanted and what needed to be done and she dropped the ball, despite having "made notes." Not only didn't she do what we wanted but she was hell bent on doing it her way and there was simply no room to be flexible. She pissed off my guests and my mother! She was meant to be my day of and I paid $1000 because she was part of some dumb package deal and the friend of the Chef. I was so disappointed!! We also used her lighting which if I'd known I had to deal with Christine I would have done my wedding in the dark! Anything to keep her and her wreck of a personality away from me and my guests! Not worth it! Pay the extra for someone else to do the lighting and be your day of. At one point there was some seating issue (go figure because she had no freakin' idea about anything despite my detail seating lists etc) and instead of saying "not a problem I'll fix that" she says "who doesn't belong at this table"..oh did I mention it was my mother that somehow got screwed out of a seat. Luckily my mom is amazing and went and picked up a wooden chair and brought it over to the table and told Christine to "SHUT UP"! Yes people that's the level we are dealing with! I had people congratulate me and then follow up with "your day of is really a piece of work" followed by some rude comment Christine made to them or they overheard her make! Christine was unprofessional toward her staff and yelled at them etc in front of guests. Christine is not worth your money or the stress that follows being around her! I had asked her to put out a big wooden W, which people were meant to sign, but she hadn't done that. I had asked her to put out the little party favors and she hadn't done that. I mean this is the day of persons job. I had given her a sheet telling her who of my friends and family were the fish eating people so that the servers could serve them fish and she hadn't communicated that to her friend the chef so some got the fish others didn't. Amazing, I know! Forget this woman she needs help and she shouldn't be working in the service industry of any kind as she has zero focus and no idea how to organize and deal with things that come up last minute. If there were minus points I'd give her that! She doesn't even deserve ONE star. She didn't even have the balls to apologize to me for having messed up the three main things I told her to do! If I could, I would give -5 stars to Christine: it's INCREDIBLE HOW BAD SHE IS. My wedding was a disaster, she was a mess during the wedding, because she purposely decided to ignore the fact that it could rain and didn't plan for it. RAIN QUOTE The months before the wedding she was hard to reach: we had to write her the same email 5-6 times before she remembered to answer. Till the week before the wedding she was getting confused on what date the wedding was and then what time it started. From the beginning we had a VERY CLEAR idea of what the wedding would be like and we explained it to her: she seemed very excited about it and professed to have understood what we wanted. However every vendor and idea she proposed didn't have anything to do with what we told her we wanted. She seemed to be going the same well of venders. Ultimately we ended up having to pay her but we were the ones doing the planning. She tried to convince us that her chef friend was a great Italian cook: I am Italian and I have never eaten such mediocre food. Yet we ended up driving an hour across LA to spend 200$ for a exceedingly lacklustre and awkward tasting session. Then when we got to the wedding day where she was supposed to coordinate we found out that she hadn't talked with half of our vendors and they didn't know what time they had to arrive or where to park. They kept asking us why the planner wouldn't get in touch or return their emails/calls. Here are some specific lowlights of the experience: - on the night of our wedding, after her crew packed up and left there were still tons of garbage leftover. My husband and I had to clean up alone until 3am in the morning and transport the stuff downhill from the location to our cars - in our wedding outfits so we wouldn't lose our deposit; - But that didn't matter because she made us lose our deposit by telling the owner of the property that we wrote her too many emails during the wedding planning and that we changed vendors 3 days before the event when we have emails introducing her to them A MONTH before the event; - she said that she was just a coordinator, even if she wasn't able to coordinate a single thing: she came to us in tears on the day of the wedding, because she didn't know what to do for the rain, after the forecasts had predicted rain for that day two weeks in advance and after we brought this information to her attention multiple times: her unforgettable answer was "It won't rain"; -Oh and get this, she came to both me and my husband to find out the seating chart and who was getting what meal because she neglected to print it out in advance. We had to coordinate all of that she had all this info 2 weeks to the event. So, while my husband and I are getting dressed for what should've been the best day of our lives, she was running around panicky, and panicking us trying to get the seating list to the caterer. I've never seen someone so unorganized and irresponsible. -Her "five star staff" who she said was exceeding professional, were actually lazy students who spent the time bumming cigarettes from our guests and taking breaks to drink beers near our guests - she and the owner of the property ruined not only our wedding but the entire 10 days after - they invented excuses not to give us our deposit back. Christine lied over and over in order not to pick up the phone and when I finally managed to get her on the phone, she accused me of incredible things - like a child and it is impossible to reason with her. And then she hang up on me and from that moment it was impossible to talk to her. During the email discussions she made the property owner tell us she was supposed to manage only the vendors she found, but not the ones we found and put her in contact with... of course this never came up before the wedding day; -These are just a few of the lowlights of the time spent with her. Believe us there are multitudes of further examples that we've spared you from. Needless to say, because of all the stress of planning, the price and the let-down, it's been one of the worst days of our lives as well as the worst period. She sold us her services as a way to be relaxed the months before the wedding and on the day: at this is the exact opposite. I stayed up every night after work in the months prior in order to do the job that she wasn't doing. If you really want a good and stress-free wedding, don't work with her: the opposite will happen, she'll disappear because she cannot accept responsibility and she will make you lose a ton of money for something that won't be worth it. If for some reason you do decide to work with her, make sure you sign a contract: at least this will give you a way to do something legally, if needed. Christine tends to say the contract is not needed and that she'll just send an invoice with the detail of what she'll do: don't accept that - she is going to screw everything up and you won't have any action available but writing a review. read more

Updated review: Christine's ridiculous response is in fact proof that she does not take responsibility for her staffs actions. She's going based on what her staff is saying and not based on what happened. Needless to say, this is why you should never book with Christine. Nothing Irritates me more than business owners that do not take ownerships of their mistakes. Also, who calls their client a drunk bride? Did I not say that we never got drinks so obviously me being drunk was not an option and I do have emails that asked whether the servers would bring the drinks from the bar, yet another example of how Christine is lying. This shouldn't be a fight between a customer and business owner this should be about Christine improving her business yet she becomes a child and whines about bad feedback she receives. I will continue to inform the orcutt ranch as well any prospect customer to not do business with this woman because as you can see she doesn't know how to run a business where she keeps her customers happy. Where do I begin. Let me start of by saying that I gave myself some time before writing this review. I don't write reviews until I'm ready to give all the information I can give without being in the heat of the moment. Christine comes across as being a very nice person. However, I don't think she knows how to take responsibility for her business and her staff. I called her right after my wedding to let her know of all of this and her answer was "my staff wouldn't do that" why would my own mother who paid for their services lie? My wedding was a month ago. I hired a coordinator and I hired Christine's company to help with the set up, the food service, and of course the clean up. Christine does do event coordination but I hired a coordinator before I hired Christine's company. Everything sounded great when I spoke to Christine my main concern was that I wouldn't have to worry about anything on my wedding day however I did. 1.Christine's staff was very disrespectful to my coordinator as well as my own mother. 2. We ordered food for 150 people mind you we had 120 guest or less and about 10 vendors and the split the food in half claiming there was not enough food for everyone yet at the end of the night the staff had taking some trays with a whole lot of food to their car. 3. Briana the lead was a disaster, she was told to give our champagne bottles to the bar and to serve our sweetheart table and guess what? When the toast came we had no champagne and I had to think quick and pour myself and my husband my mixed drink into our champagne glasses so we would have something to toast with. Speaking of drinks... I specifically asked Christine if my guest were going to have to get up to ask for their drinks. She said no, that her staff would get the drinks from the bar and serve my guest... that didn't happen and guess what else we were never served water throughout the night.... so my husband and I had to go to the bar and get water ourselves. 4. Our venue was all ours for the day... I was happy about this because this venue is not very close to us as well as friends and family we had people from all over the country. Some of them were going to come and change at our venue since there was room inside the ranch to change, however Christine staff decided to come in their regular clothes and change in our rooms for our family and had our family change in the public restroom because they needed to change. Who in the world does this!? 5. One of the girls screamed at my mom saying she took Christine's box of teas... you know those $20 boxes you get at the store... my mom was embarrassed and because there was about 10 people helping clean up the teas ended up in step dads truck... Which was someone's mistake. 6. Briana and their team left early and were at their car when they should've helped clean up and they didn't. She said they didn't do labor which did not coincide with what I agreed on with Christine. 7. We made dessert wedding favors that were counted to the T and Christine's staff ate about 10 of them. 8. They didn't cut the cake because that wasn't their job. 9. They never served the cake so guess what? My husband and I never had a slice of our own cake. This is the worst event company I have ever came across. Christine argued that it was my coordinators fault and my coordinator was not perfect but Christine's staff didn't help. If you want your wedding or event to go as smooth as possible DO NOT hire these people. I am working on submitting a formal complaint to the better business bureau and submitting an article about how to avoid people like this for a local newspaper in Woodland Hills. If you are here because you were recommended by the orcutt ranch on a piece a paper please stay away from this place... Wedding: 7/15 Orcutt Ranch Grab a cup of coffee and a muffin because I have a lot to say. It's unfortunate that Chrisitne isn't a mature adult who can have a normal conversation without throwing out ludicrous statements and screaming like a petulant child, so writing the events leading up to the wedding is the best way, so everyone knows how deceitful she really is... PRE WEDDING PLANNING: Let me start off by saying that my wedding experience with Christine has been sub par. The overall wedding day came out good, but there were many issues and absence leading up the wedding and after. She didn't really include our money dance and had us cut the cake when people were still eating, (which was not previously spoken about in our itinerary) taking away that special moment. For starters, she was paid $3,400 give or take a few hundred, for her entire service and attention from the date she was hired until the end of the wedding. This included lights decorations, some of her "decorations" that were along side her house, that we never were given after we were told we can use. From the start, we had little to no attention because what most clients don't know, is that she tends to pile on weddings, back to back and sometimes handles 2 or more weddings within a close time frame.. what does this mean for you, the "client".. it means, very little attention. With the exception of a few early appointments, my wife and I did the majority of the work. Scheduled most of the appointments. Met with all the vendors. Speaking of vendors, here's a little tip for all you lucky boys and girls getting married. Tip #1, find another coordinator. Tip #2, if you're going to dismiss my experience based on all the other "authentic" reviews that rave about her and her staff and how wonderful she is as a coordinator, here's what you should know: Unless you're using all Christine's preferred vendors, she really won't cater to you like she claims before you pay her an unreasonable amount of money for a very small amount of work leading up to the wedding. She wants you to use her vendors so she can get a percentage of the profit on top of what she's charging you for her service, which wasn't met.. Since my wife and I decided to use only 3 of her vendors, she felt like we weren't really worth the time and effort to situate our wedding early on so there's less stress as the wedding approaches. My wife was very patient and understanding and gave Christine too much slack in my opinion. Which brings me to my next issue. Christine had some personal issues going on at the time of planning our wedding which caused her to go missing for about 2 and a half months. We sent numerous texts, emails (all documented) and received no word. Finally, a miracle struck and we were blessed to learn that she did not disappear, but was attending to a personal matter which BOTH my wife and I had and still have sympathy and compassion for. As hard as these personal issues are, they are still "personal" which do not relate to our agreement for a wedding. Throughout the lengthy period of her attending to her personal problems, my wife and I still stayed patient. She only told us about the issues she was facing more than 2 months of us trying to find out why she wasn't responding. We made some communication and were able to meet and organize how the wedding was going to be planned (3-4 months after she was hired at this point) She dropped the ball with the vendors she was supposed to get us quotes for. The rental agreement was given days before the wedding. She asked my wife and I to call the florist to get a quote days before the wedding when she was asked to do so herself. Isn't this why you have a coordinator? She's getting paid and delegating to us what we should be doing. REHEARSAL: At the rehearsal of our wedding she asked my wife and I if we scheduled the rehearsal for Thursday 7/9/15. I'm sorry, what? Uh, no, we didn't. She had a wedding on 7/10/15, the day before ours so she was obviously out of it, tired from doing too much and forgot to schedule our rehearsal. Luckily we were able to sneak in and get our rehearsal done. She then asked us during the rehearsal if we can find someone to point people in the right direction so people know where the ceremony is and to usher in guests to their seats. Christine wanted to know if WE can found someone. Again, she fumbled. DAY/NIGHT OF WEDDING: Leading up to the wedding, the cake vendor, which was Portos is calling me 3 hrs before the wedding asking me if Christine is around, so they know where to put the cake.. the vendor couldn't get a hold of Christine, causing me to show him where the main room was. Another fumble. Is the groom supposed to be delegating to vendors on the day of the wedding? Crazy right? Wait, it gets better.. CONTINUED NEXT REVIEW ---- read more

I am so incredibly happy with Christine that I'm writting this before the big day has even happened!! My fiance and I are around the corner from our wedding day, (June 23rd!!) and Christine has been so fantastic with dealing with my nervousness and helping us with our budget. She's even doing my lighting for me which is awesome!! We hired her for day of coordination & it includes way more then just day off work. Our meeting tonight is the 4th in person meeting we've had and I've lost count on the number of email and texts I've sent. On our second meeting she came to our home and sat with us and did our whole itinerary for the wedding day which I now can't imagine having to have done alone!! My fiance and I have been working with Christine for about 9 months now and she has been superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is really down to earth and an extremely hard worker. She's on top of her things even though she's juggling several events at a time. She always answers promptly either via email, phone or text. We love how accessible she's been and so far has scored 10's across the board on finding us our vendors with the biggest one being the venue. It took us all 9 months to find the perfect venue and time after time that we said no to them she kept working hard at it until she found THE ONE for us! We are so happy and so pleased with her and her work! She definitely makes you feel like you're more than just another number. We were planning to go without lights which would have been terrible since we were doing a pretty isolated outdoor venue. I called Christine and she calmed all my worries. I can't say enough amazing things about Christine. My fiance and I chose a "do it yourself" wedding venue where we bring all our own vendors. We were trying to stick to our modest budget and although it is the economical way to go, there is a LOT of planning and organization that goes into it. We were quickly overwhelmed with all the choices and prices and at the recommendation of our venue, we called Christine. Her prices are very reasonable and pay for themselves with all the savings she brings with her and her vendors. She has vendors she uses often and offers them at a discount price but will also work with any vendors you already have. We ended up choosing EVERY SINGLE vendor she recommended and they were equally as amazing as she was. As a bride, you tend to worry about all the details, both small and large, and it gets overwhelming very quickly. Christine keeps everything organized and takes notes like crazy so she remembers everything you talk about down to the smallest detail. She makes you feel at ease and has so much patience when you want to discuss the same thing over and over or harp on one detail for an entire meeting. Christine was a breath of fresh of air from the moment we first met her. She was organized, engaged, and so down to Earth. It felt like a friend was helping me plan my wedding. Christine is such a wonderful person, inside and out! We are so lucky to have her and Denise make our dream to a reality. We hired Christine for her day-of coordinator service, event lighting and event staff for our January wedding at Orcutt Ranch. We had 150 guests in attendance and overall, it was one of the most memorable and fun days of our lives. We met with Christine once in person and once over the phone leading up to the wedding. She was hard to pin down at times and slow to respond to emails but the meetings were productive and she clearly had a lot of experience with events and particularly with our venue, which was helpful for us. Even though she was a little disorganized and we didnt have our rentals figured out or rented until a week prior to the wedding, everything was worked out and came together very well. There was wind on our wedding day so we had to make due and lay the flowers down on the table instead of in vases. Christine was stressed about this but in the end, she improvised and we were VERY HAPPY with the day's flow of events and also with the table settings, lighting, and staff performance. We read her reviews after hiring her and we got a little worried that things might go poorly but in the end, she was kind to our family and even though she got stressed at times trying to keep everyone on task, the party was great. A lot of her advice made sense and our guests were very happy. Of course there were some mistakes too. We ran low on food (not sure where the ball was dropped here) and some items went missing at the end of the night but these kinds of things are bound to happen and we also know that it is important to manage our expectations accordingly. Our guests overall loved the layout, flow and decor. We had a lot of help from family members and friends as well so it was good to have responsibilities spread out and delegated. I think this also helped things go smoothly. So, In the end, she was a huge help. Before the wedding we had no idea of where to arrange things, what to rent, how to construct a timeline, how to prepare contingency plans for bad weather etc and also how to manage and coordinate with other vendors. We're so glad we called Christine. It was a DIY wedding and a month before, our lighting plan was not working out. We hired her to do the lighting, but she ended up giving us wedding planning help as well, even getting us a discount with one of our vendors. She said her job as a wedding planner was to find ways to help clients save money, which was refreshing and just the opposite of what I thought a wedding planner does. She was wonderful to work with and her expertise was invaluable. We hired her reasonably priced staff to set up before and break down after the event - I'm so happy we did!
