When we got to the venue it looked absolutely amazing!! He added a lounge area and everything was better than I could have ever imagined! This Venue is so nice!! no, like REALLLYYYYY nice! Def has elegance and poise to it. Its spacious, nicely decorated and has somewhat of a cozy feel to it. Last night I was a bridesmaid for a wedding held at this venue. They treated us amazingly from the moment we arrived to start getting ready. The venue itself is gorgeous and needed little decorations. The dancing and space, all excellent. But the food....my husband and I wish we could have taken food to go or order it again later. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. The salads and family-style allowed us to try everything, multiple times :-) . Tender meat, delicious salads and sides, the cake delicious. Everything. Management and staff, from booking to event production to food service and bar and even security and valet were highly polished, professional and polite. My guests say this was the best food they ever had at a wedding. My tip: Don't be tempted to overindulge in the amazing appetizers so you can make space for the even better main courses! They even served a special kids meal for the 10-year old in my party. Mike, Aden, TJ and Zoltan were amazing to work with. They were communicative and reachable throughout. Vertigo Event Venue is a sexy space, especially the bar areas and even the restrooms are Instagram worthy. There's so much good, idk where to start! Once we decided to get married in the LA area instead of my hometown, Vertigo was one of my first choices when researching. It was actually the first venue we visited. The inside is BEAUTIFUL, elegant, modern, luxurious, and sexy. Many of the keywords we were looking for in a venue. We met with Michael who greeted us with champagne as well as samples of their Dijon chicken. That chicken was everything y'all! He chat with us about our wedding ideas and gave us a tour. We were already sold but the package pricing was also right in our budget. We were looking for an all inclusive and this checked our boxes. We signed that day. We didn't even visit any others because we knew this was our wedding home. Michael was awesome. Once signed on, we were connected to Aden who handles event productions. An amazing guy who was communicative, responsive, and professional. He gave us suggestions when necessary and worked with our needs. He hosted us for our food tasting and took care of us on our wedding day. He did a great job every step of the way! Our the wedding day was beautiful! We used the whole building (white ballroom downstairs for ceremony, downstairs bar for cocktail hour, upstairs bar for open bar and black ballroom for reception). The also have a Tea Room upstairs that the wedding party used to store our things. The staff was friendly, drinks were fast and yummy, food was insanely good. Seriously, I have friends still raving about the chicken a week later. I honestly can't say enough about our experience with Vertigo. This review is particularly for the valet guy named Patrick Markarian! I was at the venue for a wedding. I was unaware the parking at this venue is valet only. I drive a Tesla. I did not have my key card with me at the time. Therefore, my phone was my key to the vehicle. I explained it to the valet personnel the situation and he insist on valeting my vehicle and told me that he does not need the key card. Obviously, the valet guy is not familiar with a Tesla. After quite some time explaining to the valet guy, he allowed me to self park my vehicle. As I was walking towards the venue, the valet guy stopped me aggressively saying "you need to pay me". He demanded payment and said "You need to pay me right now because you did not valet your vehicle so you have to pay me now and not later. You have to Zelle or Venmo me.". I asked him why I need to pay him since I did not valet the vehicle. I also asked why am I paying him directly rather than scanning the QR at the front of the valet stand. Then he said he is the owner of the valet company and he demanded me to pay him $18 directly via Zelle or Venmo. I eventually gave in because I was late for the wedding and I did not want to deal with him anymore even though I knew he was being a scam. I could of easily took my car to self park on the street. If this man had explained to me he will be charging me for self park, I would have willingly and happily paid him. It was after the fact that he approached and demanded me to pay that I was not happy about. More importantly, he expected me to pay him directly. This Patrick Markarian is unprofessional, rude and demanding. I hope this venue investigates into this matter. As for the venue itself, it was nice. However, the service here is unprofessional and horrible. The staff that work here is not very nice or friendly. If I could, I will give this venue no stars. read more

I just had my wedding here on 4/4/24 and everything was soooooo perfect! The staff here really treated me and my wife like family. They went above and beyond anything I would've expected from a venue. Aden is the absolute sweetest and I could tell from my first interaction with him that he really cared about the success of my event. They are LGBT friendly! If you've never tried this type of cuisine, try it! So many people told me it was the best wedding food they've ever had. The food was so good I'm thinking about ordering more for no reason. I have been to this venue about 4 times. All visits to this venue have been for private events. It is a beautiful venue with multiple rooms for all types of events, I believe they do weddings here as well. As I mentioned, I have only been here for private events. The building is 2 stories, one room upstairs and one downstairs. Outside each room there is a cocktail/mingling area. The one downstairs is much more ample and spacious. I am not sure what the capacity is for the rooms but they are both very ample as well. They do valet parking but there is also street parking available. read more

Planning a wedding requires a lot of details and the decor of this venue is perfect! It helped eliminate the added stress of trying to make somewhere look good because it already looked great! Aden assisted us in all the little details (table linens/napkins, menu, outside vendors etc) and handled all the big things the day of! Their in house options were so great that we didn't need to use an additional rental company.
