Best Chinese food in the tri-cities area. My boyfriend and I come here and do take out every couple of weeks and it's the best! The crab rangoon and the sesame chicken are the best. Found this place (wang's) a few months ago, last night was my fourth time eating there. Great food! I have to say, the past two times we have had the same waitress, I know help is hard to find. We sat down, nobody came to table. Ten minutes later another couple sat next to us, then waitress took drink order. (Saki warm). Also took food order same time. Couple next to us different waitress. Drink order food. Immediately drinks were brought to them. Us still waiting. I mentioned to waitress about saki, said im bringing right out. Ten min later no drink. Table next to us food delivered, they are half way thru. Still no drink. Thought of getting up and walking out, at that point. Then drink comes. A while later, 5 min or so, soup arrives, she set the round tray on end of table and leaves. I guess we serve ourselves? Couple next to us pay their bill and out the door. Finally our food arrives! Its good as always. My daughter asks for more water, waitress fills glass spilling water all over, soaking napkins and table, walked away! My daughter got up went to waitress station got more napkins came back and cleaned her mess. Btw food was good but ruined by terrible waitress. Crab rangoons were the BEST! Miso soup was good, but I didn't get tofu in mine which I was bummed about however they gave us crispy noodles with it. The Volcano roll and the Jaguar roll (added cream cheese) were both 10/10. Presentation was cool because they served it in a boat. read more

I have eaten here so many times. Have had some good food and good service. However lately it's not so great. I usually order online when it's late at night. Last night the system wouldn't let me so I went in. Only to get told they stop seating people at 9:15 and it was now 9:16. Seriously I just wanted to order to go and a place to sit while I wait. The one lady that is always mopping the floor is so rude. I've gone in at 8 same situation. When I go there I spend a lot of money and tip well. The food was excellent! Visually appealing, very tasty, and packed up securely in the carry out containers in a way that kept warm things warm, cold things cold, and liquids from spilling. Fish portions with the sushi were generous, and they even had a few menu items we haven't seen in our local Detroit-area sushi restaurants, such as the delicious spicy lobster avocado salad. We were here in Frankenmuth on vacation, but if I am ever traveling in the Saginaw Bay area or heading through here to northern Michigan again, I will absolutely make sure to stop to get food from Wang's bistro. This is unrelated to the food, but as a medical professional I want to let the owners know how much I appreciate the fact that they are still a carry out only restaurant in July 2021. They are being protective of the health of their customers as well as their employees, and this is something that really impresses me. If I lived nearby, your establishment would become one of my regular carry out restaurants for this reason. Just like stopping in Pinconning to buy some 10 year aged Pinconning cheese has become a mandatory side trip, Wang's Bistro is now added to the list of places we need to visit on vacation! read more

First time here and the place was cute and the food was great! Waitress was friendly, attentive and quick.

Food so good your mouth will water every time you think about it for months afterwards! I've eaten there at least a dozen times and have never once been disappointed! The service is fast and friendly, atmosphere is nice and every dish I've tried has been delicious! I usually get a bento dinner box and have tried a variety of entrees but the Kung Pao chicken and Sesame chicken are my faves. I trade out the spring roll for an egg roll and I always pay the upcharge to change the California roll to their "Ricky Roll", which is crab and cream cheese sushi which is then put in a light tempura and deep fried. You MUST try this, your mouth will thank you and your taste buds will swoon!! Their egg drop soup is also worth mentioning as it is silky and delicious!! I can't wait to put more Wang's in my mouth!! Great food. We usually order take out once a week from Wangs. Soon to change though thanks to them taking away the ability to pay cash when ordering online. Loved having the option and left great tips that way when picking up. No longer and will have to find another restaurant that is not into a cashless society. read more

Gave them another try 2 1/2 years later. Food was disgusting. Fairly small portions for the price. It was 5.50 for 5 slices of vegetable tempura. I thought it meant 5 sets of a few different vegetables, not 5 pieces total. Egg roll is what you'd get from the freezer at walmart. Cashew chicken was sickening. The chicken looks like it was deep fried battered stuff. Not real chicken like this dish is made with everywhere else. That would have been ok except multiple pieces of chicken had nasty inedible chunks in them. I gave this place a second chance and it was far worse than my first visit. Will not return. read more

We cannot say enough about the owner and staff at Wang's. First, we had a wonderful meal (Garlic Chicken and Fried Rice). Both were fresh, not overly oily and seasoned perfectly. Here's where the review departs from the normal review. We inadvertently left my glasses at the restaurant and we live hours away. The owner drove my glasses to the closest UPS store where they packaged and sent my glasses to our home in Chicago. This was over and beyond what any restaurant would normally do and we are very grateful. Thank you Wang's for exceptional customer service. We will never go anywhere else when we visit Frankenmuth. Not sure where to start. Bubble drink made with power, ok. How about smoothies made with real mango, ummm....nope. Fine. The teriyaki chicken sauce was full of water on the plate. Mushrooms retain water and have to be drained before serving. Fried rice was also the worst I've ever had. Actually it tastes like Panda Express. California roll, oh my gosh gross. Egg rolls had the overly thick wrap and a hint of shrimp. Spring roll was as big as the egg rolls but thiner wrap but were more greasy but o hint of shrimp. Crap Rangoon's were very good. Gyoza got fried it was good but not my thing. Egg drop soup had the thicker broth but was good. Entries were very good but at the same time this is were they lost there 5 star. Just ate here because Bavarian Inn was closed for a holiday party. We were very pleasantly surprised. The space is very clean and the atmosphere is relaxed. We both ordered the orange chicken bento box and everything in it was delicious. There was a generous portion of the orange chicken, two wontons that had a nice flavor, a California role, a crab Rangoon and a spring role. Both the Rangoon and the spring role were exceptional. They were light and crispy and the spring role stuffing was flavorful. We also had the Ricky Role which was fresh and delicious. Service was also friendly and prompt. Very nice interior and I was hoping the food would have been great but sadly it was lacking. I ordered a spicy sushi roll to start (which I didn't get till after my dinner was served) the sushi was mashed not sliced at all and in really huge portions for sushi which made it hard to eat. I couldn't finish it I only had two pieces because the texture was very off and it didn't taste to fresh. For dinner I got the chicken fried rice which was really bland and tasted a little burnt. Crab Rangoon is fantastic and super cheap...the wonton soup had a very funky smelling broth, so go with the egg drop, which was spot on... both entrees were great, we got general tso chicken and Mongolian beef....ask for the hot mustard for your egg roll, it is amazing but very hard core... we will definitely be back! read more

We ate at Wang's bistro will visiting Frankenmuth. It was Def in my top two Asian cuisine places. They had a nice selection of Chinese and Japanese food. My family all ate the sushi and thought it top notch. I had the sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, wonton soup, and we all shared crab rangoon (it was amazing). Our waitress asked us if we would like our rolls on a platter so that we could share. The presentation was amazing! The rolls were excellent! The sushi is made to order. Would definitely recommend.
