“I always come here at least once a week I usually stick to the beef lomein with mushrooms very spicy or the jalapeño chicken which is so so good!”

I'm a little disappointed I suppose…read more After reading all the glowing reviews and looking over the menu I was sure I was going to have a delightful meal this evening. This restaurant is attached to what is clearly a dying mall, and that may be part of the issue they're having in terms of retaining staff and maintaining foot traffic. It is desperately hard to maintain a high quality standard in food when you simply don't have that many people coming in to eat. The staff I interacted with were generally friendly, but also quite busy and trying to keep up with the various tables. The seating options were a little uncomfortable, but serviceable overall. Everything appeared to be clean, although I noticed a bucket of dishes sitting out in the main dining room That was not being attended to. Given the volume of business they were having at the time this wasn't a huge deal. The food was a mixed bag. The chips were decent but a little greasy. My chicken was well prepared and had a delicious cheese sauce on it. The rice and beans were quite regrettable unfortunately. The beans were overcooked and too pasty, the rice had no real flavor to it. It really is a shame, I was looking forward to trying this place.

I was angry, I was like "no I'm not going in there, it's an abandoned restaurant in an abandoned…read moremall" I shouted in the midst of an argument with my wife who "wanted to try something new" Fortunately for me we had my mother in law with us who brought sense to the situation by just walking inside the Cazadores restaurant. This was some of the best Mexican food I've had, period.

I don't think I've ever been to a Red Lobster before but of course I have heard a lot about the…read morenever-ending biscuits so I was at least looking forward to that. We waited around 10 minutes to be seated and once it was our turn, were surprised to see that the restaurant was only half-full. What exactly were we waiting for? Our server, Jasmine , was very friendly, but she or the host (I'm not sure how they do it here) forgot our utensils. We only realized it once we had our drinks and our salads. But once we flagged her down, she got us the utensils and napkins. The Caesar salad that came with my entrée was fine, and the biscuits were addictive. I ate three of them easily. The snow crab legs ($19.99 for 1 lb) were brought over in a dish with a lid on it. They were good, although some of the legs were a little too soft to crack, but that happens. I would have liked more than one tiny wet nap and another slice of lemon. Crab is a messy affair, the staff here should know that better than anyone! With that I had a side of fresh broccoli and lobster mashed potatoes. The former was overcooked and the latter was cheesy mash with only four little pieces of lobster in it: a real shame since it cost $3.99 extra even though the meal already comes with two sides. I enjoyed two Old Fashioneds with my meal, both were tasty but the second was strangely more red than the first. The price wasn't listed in the menu but each turned out to be a reasonable $5.79. During dinner I did visit the bathroom, which was clean. I like the fact that it has an outer door and a trash can by it, if you like to grab the handle with a paper towel after washing your hands like me. But on the way back I saw 4 employees standing around the host's desk chatting while a couple tables needed to be cleaned. However there was a guy constantly going around the restaurant to sweep the floor. I was surprised he could see anything since it was so dark in the dining area. Our friend who ordered the Four Course Feast ($16.99) didn't get her soup but admitted she was too full for it now anyway. When we were ready to leave, Jasmine had no problem boxing up the soup to go, as well as the dessert, and she brought out the ice cream at the very last minute so it wouldn't melt much on the way home. She also threw in some extra biscuits for us. (: A lot of the dishes here are not cheap, so I expected appropriate service and quality. While our server was great, she did forget a few things and it's obvious that some of the other employees need to stop goofing off. And the kitchen needs to work on their side dishes. Otherwise this is a decent place to get a drink and eat seafood (and biscuits!).

I had a very disappointing experience at the Red Lobster in Saginaw, MI. I ordered the Mariner's…read moreSeafood Boil and asked for Cajun and spicy, but it came out incorrect. The server offered seasoning to add myself and a complimentary dessert instead of remaking the meal. The next day, I found a piece of chewing gum stuck to the side of the dessert. I contacted the restaurant and the first manager I spoke with was dismissive and questioned whether it was really gum. When I brought the dessert back, another manager suggested the container may have been reused from another customer, which was shocking to hear. I did report this to corporate, but the overall experience left me very uncomfortable about food safety and customer service. Very disappointing.

The NBA playoff games were on that night too, and unfortunately they didn't have access to the specific game I wanted to watch because it was on a different streaming package. As a sports fan, I'm not going to lie -- that hurt a little bit . For a sports-style restaurant, you always hope they've got every game available. But at the same time, I understand all those subscriptions add up. Even with that, I stayed and ordered the 10-piece garlic Parmesan wings along with a chicken quesadilla. The ranch was actually really good -- good enough that I ordered three extra ranch cups to take home with me. I didn't finish all my food there, but I stayed for the atmosphere and overall vibe before heading back out. The customer service was good, the restaurant wasn't overly packed, and overall I really don't have anything negative to say about the experience. I don't know how often I'd necessarily go out of my way to visit a Hooters these days, but for this visit, it was still a solid stop.
