Food is very consistent and good. Prefer this place to other local Asian restaurants in the area. Prices have risen, but they have everywhere else too. I usually get Pad Thai beef spicy. You need to make sure that you specify your spice level. My husband gets sesame chicken and shares it with my daughter. Portions are very generous. We always have leftovers. read more

Food, Chinese, excellent. Dang, I had such a tasty meal here. I came in not even very hungry. I ordered the one with the beef and the almonds in it. They gave me such a huge generous portion and I ate the whole thing. I felt like such a big back. It tasted very good the meat was tasty the sauce was decent. I think the almond mix or something just hit so well and it was a great amount of juiciness to mix the rice in with it. Like dang, it had me wanting to try all kinds of different Chinese platters that I have never had before. This wasn't a life changing restaurant for me, but I will be remembering this place. After a whole day of shop til you drop experience. There's a point in time where one or more will be famished. In this case, my whole family was ready for some sustenance. No this isn't your snooty authentic Chinese restaurant. There will be no dimsum, no shark fin soup, no mooshu pork, no good stuff. All this guy is, is a fast food Chinese shop. Mostly American Chinese will be served here. So if you're hoping that you close your eyes, turn counter clockwise and click your heels three times,,, this place would turn into a posh restaurant? You are clearly delusional. Anyways, I happen to like what's being served here.. Is it the best Chinese I ever ate? Nope, is it the worse? It certainly isnt. I just like that it's no nonsense stuff, you walk up to the cashier guy, tell him what you want... he yells a bunch of Chinese stuff at the kitchen, then a few minutes later, your food comes out and you're ready to chow down. Also ordered Orange chicken. Ok this was edible, but only because chick was fried! It came with fried rice, not sure who taught them how to make fried rice, but this crap was terrible! Always a spot my mother wants to go to when we go up to Birch Run for some shopping. Is this place fancy and glorious? Heck no. But does it have decent Chinese food that will leave you satisfied and coming back for more? Yes. The owner is the guy who sits behind the cash register and takes your order. He is hard to understand sometimes with his thick accent but is super nice. We got in there at 8:45pm and he did not rush us to eat and get out of their restaurant because they close at 9pm. They even took a pick up order at 8:55pm. The people who picked up the order apologized for ordering so late and the owner said that he would stay open as long as there is business coming. Now that makes a great business and someone who has good work ethic. The plavlce is very lack lustering and to most would never step food inside this place. I went here because the group I was with wanted Chinese food for lunch. After much internal debate I got the Chicken with Peapods, slightly spicy. It came out pretty fast and tasted like one would expect, just some good, classic Chinese American cooking. not too watery, which was a bonus. Also had white rice, fried rice was 3 bucks extra or some large number like that. From what I could tell, this is a pretty average chinese place but the prices were sort of high. they didn't have any great lunch specials so I paid about 8 bucks. I'm used to paying like 5-6 bucks, and that includes the option for fried rice and maybe an egg roll/soup. maybe food in michigan is just really expensive (See also my zingerman's deli review)? does mcdonald's even have a dollar menu here, or do they call it a 2 dollar menu? Had a HUGE craving for chinese and this is pretty much the only place I found in Birch Run. Just like the name says, they are quick. Food was better than I expected. We ordered three entrees and egg drop soup and it came to about $20. The dishes also come with white or fried rice, even though it is not specified on the menu on the wall. OMG I had the best lunch iv had in a very long time. I had Chicken Vegetable Fried Rice, Soft General Tso Chicken, Eggroll, and Crab Ragoon.I loved this. My General Tso was not so hard you can't chew it. If you don't have teeth you can chew this. Not like the other you have to get soggie just so you can chew it. The fried rice had large chunks of broccoli and carrots, pea pods. Small chunks of onions baby corn. The best. You have to try this place. It is in the Birch Run Outlet Mall. Terrible service. The guy who was taking our order made it seem like we were more of a nuisance than a customer. When we asked for a cup of water, he started to look at the price list. So we told him never mind because we didn't want to pay for a cup of water. He ignored us and proceeded to charge us $.30 for water.
