The poke bowl has less meat than I'm used to and was very saucy. However it was served in a to go bowl and I appreciate that. The crab ragoons were very crispy and so was the gyoza warren good too. It's designed for quick service and I like that you can make your own poke bowl. There is also hibachi available. The dinning room is small and acceptable small dinner but made for takeout.

23.00 for this. It tastes like it looks.. Not a fan.

Food was a one. Service a 3. Ambiance is dirty. I got the hibachi steak. They didn't know what type of steak they were using. The yum yum looked like mayonnaise that sat out for a few days mixed with mustard. It tasted that way too. Meat was tasteless and tough. Vegetables taste frozen and bland. Really disappointed and a little curious on how they have a 4.7 star rating.

The tonkotsu udon was delicious. I got with tofu out of protein preferences. Would have again. Friendly staff.

The spicy chili garlic seasoning added the perfect amount of spice. And they even bring out extra spice to the table, if you need more! The fresh house-made noodles were cooked perfectly. I added chicken to my bowl instead of the pork. It was tender and so flavorful. The toppings -- marinated egg, green onions, bamboo shoots, kikurage mushrooms, and sesame seeds -- all came together really well. I added soybeans to my bowl. Definitely one of the best ramen bowls I've had in Michigan. I'll be back for sure. Service was quick. And even at 4pm, the place was already packed. My belly was so happy after this meal!

Not really much of an ambiance - it's a very casual place with pretty basic decor. Everyone working there was friendly and our food was brought out to us in a reasonable amount of time. I got the classic tonkotsu ramen and it was really good! The broth was flavorful and complex, the pork was tender, and the egg perfectly jammy. Apparently they make their noodles fresh everyday. The price of a ramen bowl was on par with what I'm used to (~$20 with tax + tip) but the sushi seemed a little pricey. I will have to come back to try it.

We ordered the Beef Fried Rice (7/10) & Chatshu Spicy Ramen (5/10), which took 40 minutes to receive for dine in. The ramen did not taste as good as it did before the menu change, would not order again. As for the service, the lady who took our order was rude which is off putting for obvious reasons. I probably wouldn't return due to the initial interaction. As California transplants we may just have to deal with traveling further for good food & polite service.

Strawberry milk tea with mango jelly: Wasn't too strong of a strawberry taste but just a milk'd down right amount and the mango jellies were SO good. 2. Mango jasmine green milk tea WITHOUT milk foam and with mango popping boba: Soo well made! Made sugar spike up about 100 points but tasted very good. The reason why I gave it two stars is because my total was $17 for two drinks... lol As a Miami local, these prices are way too high for a town like Grand Blanc but worth the splurge once in a while. Maybe they can switch to containers that are less nice to combat the expense of the drink?

Sapporo is not about to break that trend! Right off the bat, the vibe is chill and the staff is welcoming. I go for the Takoyaki and Hakata modern. The Takoyaki is absolutely delicious. Wonderful balance of texture and salt vs sweet. Easily top 3 I've had. On to the ramen....which I was ready to be super hyper critical on. Hakata modern features Tonkotsu pork broth, chashu, ajitsuke tamago, menma, beansprouts, garlic oil, umami dama, and scallions. Final verdict? The broth is rich and flavorful, and there is plenty of it! The ramen egg is a tab bit overdone and the chasu can be a little more tender but who am I kidding? It's pretty damn good! The best part of all? Sapporo sits at a very reasonable price point while not compromising on high quality. All in all, very much worth a trip while in the area. Sapporo slides right into my go to lineup :-)
